The Atlantean Compensator 66 Confrontation

You'd think he'll take it lightly on Elara and Ayla, but he didn't..

Love quickly healed Elara and Ayla, who then helped her heal all of the rest.

Sebastin. "Goddamn... This was the worst beating i ever had in my life.

Love replies. "Training was never supposed to be easy...

When everybody was finished being healed of their injuries.

They've asked Herald about how was he able to block a lot of Heracles punches.

Oumad. "Since when you could do something like this?"

Herald. "I don't know Hahahahah..Something in my head told me that you could."

Joshou. "..Did you use your compensating powers?"

Herald. "No I didn't.. I was already banished from using them under training.

A hidden power that I've unlocked."

Ayla. "That's awesome!

What else could you do with it?"

Herald. "Honestly i don't know yet, I still have to discover them.."

Then everybody congratulated him for his newly acquired powers.

Herald in fact knows what they are, but Alkeyder has told him to keep it a secret for the moment.

The secret is Herald now is learning how to use Jinnies' powers for his sake.

Alkeyder explained to him.

"...Every one of us, has a Jinnie attributed to him.

It's called Qarin!

The Qarin serve a very weird relation with a person.

Normally, people are not aware of his existence and will never be.

It requires a superhuman supernatural amount of spiritual energy to be able to do that.

The Qarin usually is the opposite of anyone's state, he serves as an equilibrium to the one he's attached with.

He can access the human mind and talk through it, making one think that it's just him having a conversation with himself.

Not saying that he does it all the time, but usually when you're having a conflict between two voices in your heard.

The one having the opposite opinion is the Qarin!

In your case, now that you're able to see and feel Jinnies. It is possible for you to use your Qarin as an inner power!

Jinnies have immense strength, far surpassess the one humans normally have.

So we'll start with your Qarin as a first step, since he's the easiest case for you right now..."

Alkeyder helped Herald summon his Qarin, through some recitation he read on him.

When Herald could not sleep,

The one talking in his head was in fact his Qarin!!

Probably the incident that happened last night has trigerred his hidden powers, now he is even more focused and eager to attain greater levels.

This is why he was able to stop Heracles' attack, he used the powers of his Qarin.

Although he hasn't yet seen how he looks nor personal information about him..

As for the rest, they had enough time to rest from the exhausting training, they spent it laying down on their beds.

Until Oumad and Joshou had a weird conversation.

Oumad. "Say...Joshou!

You haven't tried your best to protect each other back then...

Am i right?"

Joshou looks at Oumad. "..What do you mean exactly?"

Oumad. "You know what I mean.."

*Everybody at this point noticed the conversation and shifted their attention into it.*

Joshou. "No I don't!

But I supsect that you probably are hinting that I've cheated the training?"

Oumad. "I don't know if i would put it like that, but Couple of times i thought you just stood there invisibly while we were getting beaten up like flies.

Everybody tried harder."

Joshou looked quite angry, something he hadn't shown in all the time he was in here.

He stood up!

"...Don't you dare question my willingness to take my training seriously!!!"

Joshou felt disrespected.

Beazly decided to cool the situation down.

"Hey now!

What's with the sudden heat...

Calm yourself down!"

Oumad also stood up to match Joshou, and both looked into the eyes of each other.

"...What if i did?"

Joshou. "..Then a respectful fight will have to take place.

That's how conflicts of this qualiber are settled in my book.

Since you're questioning both my fighting and personal integrity."

Beazly gets in between them and seperates them.

"HEY!!

What are you talking about?

Atlanteans are never meant to fight each other, that is one of the first lessons we've learnt!!"

Ayla grabs Oumad and calms him both by talking and using some of her powers.

Beazly took care of Joshou as well...

Sebastin commented.

That was actually quite serious and intense.."

Herald just kept on looking, he did not interfree for some reason...

Beazly and Ayla made them fix the situation.

Oumad. "My appologies."

Joshou. "...Never mind it!"

And everybody got back to their usual conversations and routines...

Time was up and it's now another history class.

Alkeyder. "...Today, we'll be talking about the post-flood era.
