The Atlantean Compensator 21 Gateless Gate

The first step, taken by the left leg is completed...'

Beazly, "Now the right leg, make sure everybody moves in the same motion!!"

As the tip of the toes of their legs were about to hit the Gate...

It magically passed it..'

Sebastin shouted loudly. "IT'S HAPPENING!!! We're going into the gate.."

Oumad. "Don't stop now! keep on moving..."

'As everyone felt surreal going through the Gate, with smiles in their faces..'

Herald said. "Guys....I can see you all going through..

But i am not!!!"

'Beazly was holding Herald's hands with his right one, the surreal feeling of passing through the Gate made him forget that the one next to him, isn't doing the same..'

Beazly. "WAIT, STOP EVERYBODY!!

"Let's get back, Herald isn't coming through for some reason!"

'Everybody stopped and tried to get back, but..'

Oumad. "Herald! I want to get back but my movement is blocked brother!

try to pull us out."

'Beazly again tried with his immense power but to no use...

Herald tried to do so, but couldn't shake none of them.'

"I cannot do so man, it seems like once you get through the Gate you cannot get back.."

'All 6 had parts of their bodies already through the gate, but their heads were still on the outside of The Castle.'

Ayla. "What are we going to do now?"

Joshou. "Some of us got to pass the Gate and investigate what's happening, and maybe bring some help if we could.

Me, Beazly and Ayla will do so, for obvious reasons.

The rest i hope you don't mind being stuck for a little time, we'll make it quick."

Herald. "Okey i second this.."

Beazly. "Good idea, hang in here we won't be late."

Beazly, Ayla and Joshou all let go of the hands they were holding and went through the Gate.

Oumad. "What if they didn't get back?"

Herald. "Well, you got to go on all 3 of you.

I will find a way out of here."

Oumad. "That is not certain, i cannot leave you here alone."

Herald. "Well let's hope the others figure it out."

Sebastin. "Where are these goddamn Majestic Guardians?!

All this trouble and we still haven't met them..."

Herald. "Guiado is a trusted man, but he's also under the Atlantean's Association.

His words can be derived to other meanings. Like i said, it's all a test."

Suddenly, Erala said "Let me try something.."

'Herald noticed that Elara still held on to his hands even when being stuck and put in a very weird uncomfortable situation.

The Gate is putting no pressure on their bodies though, it doesn't cause them any pain.'

'Elara focused her beautiful blue eyes straight towards the Gate, opening them wide open as much as possible.. At the same time, held really tight to Herald's hands.'

'The Gate started getting deformed, holes appeared on its surface..

As if the illusion started to fade away..'

Herald. "..The illusion of the Gate is...getting weaker!!?"

'Elara then tried to push Herald through the Gate. But her powers started to get weak by the second and eventually, she fell very tired and started to breath heavily...

Herald held Elara from her back, as she couldn't stand straight.'

"Elara!! Are you okey!?

What was it that you did??"

Elara. says tiredly "..I tried overpowering the Gate's illusion... but obviously...

*Coughs*

..It didn't work out."

Herald. "No it did!!

It was amazing, but obviously the Gate's makers made sure it's invincible."

Oumad. "Even when Beazly hit it with a lot of power, or when Sebastin did, It wasn't affected...

This is the first time we get this far."

Sebastin. "...Yeah, the beauty and the beast all in one huh!?"

Herald lets out a sigh. "You don't run out of jokes do you? wAnyways, take rest Elara."

Elara. "..Thank you."

Again they made eye contact, Herald this time is Herald with all of his senses..

Still, observing such beauty up close, laying on his arms was pretty tough in itself that he had to look away towards The Gate.

Oumad. "..Why you're the only one that was rejected from passing through?

I am trying to find a logical explanation for this.."

Herald. "...I am the only one who discovered his powers just about...Two weeks ago?

It seems like i am not eligible yet to enter the Association?"

Oumad. "..Doesn't make a lot of sense when you think that this Association in itself, is to make us know more about ourselves and powers.."

Herald. "Yeah..."

Sebastin. "Herald, i know this may be off topic but. What the fuck is that thing in your forehead man!?"

Herald smirks and replies. "Hehe, speaking of which. my powers has a lot to do with it.

I have this weird looking eye that makes me see 5minutes into the future."

Sebastin. "Woah for real?? That is some mindblowing powers.

But why haven't you used it before? It could've saved us this trouble."

Herald. "No it wouldn't, i cannot change the events coming up,

i only know them and basically repeat them..

If i used it now for example, i will know what you and me are going to say and eventually, say them all over again.

My powers are pretty much useless, as far as i know."

Sebastin. "Oh.. Yeah man it sucks.

I thought you can change events and twist reality.."

Oumad. "....Isn't that suspicious? When i first knew about your powers i thought to myself that they really have no legitemate use. I talked briefly to Guiado about it, he said

"..It is the first time i see such thing, of all the Atlanteans i have dealt with and i dealt with a lot..

He's the first to have powers this complicated and mysterious.

I made some researches and i am pretty sure that every Atlantean SHOULD have powers that translates into consequences."

Herald. "..Really? I also forgot to ask him about that..

*Herald remembers the day which nobody else remembers but him.*

..This is even more confusing..."

Sebastin interrupts everybody and says

"Guys!! Beware... Somebody is coming close to us from the other side of the Gate..."
