The Atlantean Compensator 19 Beauty's Burden..

*after 3minutes of walking.*

They finally reached it. It is a huge Gate, measuring about 20meters long, made of Steel and painted in dark grey.

But no Guardians were there to be seen!'

Sebastin. "..Well there is no one here it seems!"

Beazly, scratching his head. "Yeah, that is weird!

What are your suggestions?"

Oumad. "I suggest we just knock on the door, they might be inside and not out.'

Herald. "Yeah could be! But the Gate is too big and it needs a proper amount of strength for the knocking to be heard, Beazly is the right man for this job."

'Beazly first tries to knock the door using a little bit of power. But they were surprised that literally no sound was heard.

So he knocked it again, this time significantly stronger than before.'

'Herald was sure that if Beazly hit anything other than the Gate with that power, he would've crashed it!

But again, no sound was produced!!'

Beazly. "Alright, something is definitely not normal!

For everybody's information, my powers are..Power. I discovered this 5years ago when our village was attacked by bandits. Long story short, i ended up crushing their bones before i could know it.

For the gate to not only be damaged, but no sound heard!! It is strange."

Sebastin took a moment to think and then said in a thoughtful manner.

"Hmmm, i am not really sure because i never encoutred such thing, but i think that this gate doesn't even phisically exists.

My powers are Sound related like i said, i can control the sound waves and shape them in any way i want, and also receive them and transform them in my head.

But there is literally no waves at all in this case!"

'Elara, silently advanced towards the Gate and looked at it deeply.

Everybody got silent in that moment, they were waiting for what she's about to say or do.'

Elara started softly touching the Gate, and spoke to them.

"Yes, this Gate doesn't exist phisically.

It is a form of illusion."

Ayla with a shocked face said. "...How? We can clearly touch it phisically!!"

Elara, "Yes, i don't know how to explain that because like all of you, i never encoutred such thing."

Herald. "Hmmm. Well, we can no more find anything to be shocking after what we all lived in our lives right?

Especially at this point. I think that this Gate is a form of test.

Maybe our training had already began the moment we sat foot in this Island."

Joshou. "...We have to understand the nature of this test then.

From my observation, it is a form of an acceptance test. The question is!

Acceptance of what?"

Sebastin. "Easy! Acceptance of our powers. Let me try one thing.

I believe i accepted my powers long time ago."

'Sebastin opened his mouth widely and took a stance similar to that of a quarterback in the NFL.

With his hands, he kept moving them roundly, almost like he was trying to shape the air into a ball.' 'Herald, Oumad and Joshou knew that it was not air,

but an Ultrasound mass that can damage thier ears massively.'

'Sebastin released it and it slowly moved towards the Gate.

*All 3 closed their ears fearing for them.*

'The Ultrasound mass made contact with the Gate and...just vanished!

And again, no sound..'

Herald. "....It seems like that is not the case."

Sebastin stood silently, while looking down he replied.

"I am pretty disappointed that the strongest technique i have was literally of no use...

But anyways, we're now sure it definitely isn't a physical Gate."

Beazly. "If it's not a matter of accepting our powers, then what could it be?"

Ayla. "I think it's a matter of accepting ourselves and each other..."

Herald. "Pretty hard to do that from the first hour we pass with each other.

I don't think that the condition will be that hard."

Beazly. "Why do you find it that hard?

We've been all brought from our homes and old lives to here...

For the same goal and purpose!

I think we got all the reasons to believe and accept each other already."

Herald, looked kind of embarassed and proven wrong.

"Well...That's one way to see it.

You are right."

Oumad. "We have nothing to lose, so let's try what Ayla suggested!"

Herald. "But how?"

Beazly. "Put it in ur mind and heart that we're all together in this and we'll have to get out of it all together."

Ayla. "Yes, and lets walk in one line while everyone is holding the other's hand, we'll try passing through the gate, since it is only an illusion."

Joshou. "More like a spell or a protection technique.

All this science fiction events are making me think that they actually took it from real life and not the opposite."

Herald. "That is true..."

Beazly. "Alright, let's stop talking about it and focus please.

Hold tightly and walk simultaneously.

We'll pass the gate using our right foot. time it well!"

'Beazly in the middle, held Herald's hand from his right side and Ayla's from his left.

Ayla held Oumad's, the latter held Sebastin's.

Herald found Elara next to him, Elara did not look him in the eye, she just reached for his hand and he completed the process and held it.'

'Herald for a second, felt a strange tingling feeling in his heart. He couldnt comprehend why so he brushed it off his head quickly.

Elara from the other sound held Joshou's hands.

The latter fainted...'

'Before he could reach the ground he regained his conscious and quickly backed off taking a defensive kung-fu stance (The forward stance).'

'Beazly quickly noticed and got in between the two so fast he broke the ground he was landing on, leaving the mark of his shoes on it.'

Beazly. "WHAT IS IT??

For a second, I sensed a very bad intent coming from you!"

'Joshou quickly took off his stance and was left speechless for a moment.

Ayla came close to Joshou and touched his face. then said.

"What placed fear in your heart so suddenly, Joshou?

You seem to be very confused.."

'Joshou looked shocked towards Ayla..

The last time someone knew what is going on inside him was from a time so long ago...

He concluded that it may be her powers. He trained so well to hide any emotions he has when fighitng that that can only be the logical explanation.'

He answered calmly though. "I have no idea,

I am very sorry to cause this trouble..."

'Herald out of nowhere spoke to Elara.

It took him great courage to do so by the way.'

"E...Elara. Don't you think that..

You should tell us something before we advance towards the gate?"

Elara stood silent, while looking down to the ground...
