“Don't stand too close to me.” Lu Xingzhi pushed him again, but still he didn't budge.

“Am I too close? I think I can be closer.” Huo Jinchen inched a little closer, and almost towered over Lu Xingzhi.

“Otherwise, I'll play a tune for you!” Lu Xingzhi spoke carefully, afraid of grazing Huo Jinchen's lips.

“Okay!” Huo Jinchen stared blazingly at her soft lips, his lips really tickles, but in the end let go of her.

Lu Xingzhi sat back in front of the piano and looked at Huo Jinchen, “Uncle, what do you want to hear?”

"Little Star!" Huo Jinchen leaned on the piano and said with some deep meaning.

Lu Xingzhi spread her fingers on the keyboard and smiled brightly at Huo Jinchen, then slowly moved her fingers, like a dancing elfin, dancing to a romantic waltz.

Huo Jinchen turned around and sat next to her.

Lu Xingzhi didn't catch on at first. But when Huo Jinchen started to play, she realized that he wanted her to play with him.

"I've never played a duet."

“Then try.”

Lu Xingzhi bit her lip and looked at Huo Jinchen before slowly raising her hands up.

At the beginning, the tune was bumpy. After several mistakes, the tune became more and more smooth. The two cooperated very well.

Then, they played it again.

Lu Xingzhi looked at Huo Jinchen, and he just happened to look at her, staring at her tender lips, fiery and hot.

Lu Xingzhi smiled shyly, a blush creeping onto her cheeks.

Huo Jinchen's throat felt parched at her shyness. He reached out and touched her head, letting his fingers swim through her hair, with a veiled wickedness burning with each finger.

His voice dropped down to a sensuous timbre: "Do you like it?"

“Um. It's just too expensive.” Lu Xingzhi stroked the piano lid gently and eyed the diamond etched on top of the lid. “And, it's too extravagant. It's better to make a ring out of this big diamond!”

If it weren't for that maid who said it was real diamonds, Lu Xingzhi would have thought it fake. Knowing that it is real a diamond, she failed to keep her calm. 

Huo Jinchen's eyes lit up, “Distressed? Wait till we get married, I will buy you a bigger one.”

Lu Xingzhi really has a swan neck and a pair of beautiful hands. Adorning her neck and hands with jewelry would be perfect.

“I'm not trying to marry you, that's not what I mean.” Lu Xingzhi tried to clear things up that she wasn't asking him to buy her a diamond ring.

“Don't you want to marry me?” Huo Jinchen's voice was tinged with a bit of displeasure and threat. “Who are you going to marry?”

“No, I didn't mean it that way. I mean, I am not asking you to buy a diamond ring.”

“So, you are going to marry me.” Huo Jinchen was appeased instantly.

“Aren't we engaged? Unless you breach the contract first, otherwise …”

Huo Jinchen interrupted her and said earnestly: “I won't break the engagement, haven't I said it before? We will live together for a lifetime.”
