Surviving In My Novel 8 On My Way

'Ughhhh....' life is hard, but I can't let something as small as this make me give up! I am the author, the creator, the designer of this novel. If I can't fix such a simple mistake, then I am clearly unqualified as a writer.

I jumped back first onto my bed, letting my body rest a bit longer. I still have plenty of time, I mean the meeting is like a few hours away and it's only a 10 minute walk from the dorms. It's really amazing how perfect this place is, isn't it? I mean I created it after all. Shame I have to deal with wingman work.

If only I stuck to what I am good at. If I did, then the novel wouldn't have any problems! This novel would be a masterpiece... but then again it would feel bland without the protagonist having his own personal relationships.

I stretched my forearms as I faced the ceiling, as I thought, I felt nothing. I kinda expected that looking up would somehow provide me some kind of legendary enlightenment or something, but that's stupid. I got back up from my bed, feeling a bit more energetic and looked at my phone again.

"Pfft!" I was so close opening my mouth. I don't remember my protagonist being this weak! I can't have this, I need him to be in tip top condition, otherwise protagonist logic won't work! I must help him overcome this hurdle. Having a weak protagonist is worse than being the enemy of a strong protagonist.

I am doing this for his own good. He is clearly not a bad person, so I can't let him act like such a sad wingman... I can't stand it. It would be like watching a dog trying to eat chocolate!

Since I genuinely appreciate what he is trying to do, I will at least try to help him out a bit. Even if what he's doing is morally and ethically wrong, I still think there are good intentions somewhere in his heart.

Plus, he gave me a nickname. No one has every given me a nickname. Not even Dan has given me one... he clearly has the best intentions, so I will give him this one big push.
