"It has been 3 hours since I started sleeping, show me what you have all done during that time." Simon said with a yawn.

Every single kid yelled "Yes master!"

"I, Tyrone, have picked the Serene Blossom Sword Technique. I have trained it to the 5th layer."

Tyrone flexed his biceps vigorously as petals enveloped his body and disappeared, leaving behind the body of a beautiful woman.

"Blossom Body is the hardest layer to master, but I managed to become one with the blossom, entering the state of transcendence." Tyrone was prideful of this. He had mastered it to perfection, how could his master not be proud?

"Using my sword, I can pierce through walls with ease."

"Very good, Tyrone. I am proud of your progress. Your talent and work ethic is praiseworthy." Simon praises Tyrone and let another kid announce their results.

"I am Michelle. I trained the Nether Glaive Technique until the 5th layer."

Michelle drew a glaive and twirled it in the air before slashing into nothingness.

CHINK

The wall cracked all over, breaking down soon after.

"Very good." Simon was satisfied.

"I am Sienna, I trained the Serene Sword Technique until the 7th layer." 

"Great work."

"I am Sam, I trained the Raging Muscle Hammer Technique until the 6th layer."

"Very good"

"I am James, I trained the Darkness Sword Technique until the 8th layer"

"Excellent"

Next came Simon.

"I'm Simon, I trained my technique to the 12th layer." 

"..."

The room became silent as if someone had just died and everyone did not know how. It was like watching a bomb drop right next to you, but you could see the bomb and didn't end up dying straight away. It was shocking.

"What is the technique called?" Simon asked Simon as he rubbed his own chin.

"..."

"Furious Lawnmower Technique." Simon could not help but feel embarrassed. Everyone else got respectable weapons but he ended up with a lawnmower.

How is that fair?

"Show me what you learned." Simon commanded.

"Very well." Simon summoned a lawnmower from nothingness and powered it up with his own power.

VROOOM VROOOOM

"FURIOUS SHRED!" 

Suddenly, a huge spectral propeller appeared in front of the lawn mower, cutting through their air, ceiling and ground like butter. Alas, there was not much to test it on. However, everyone knew that if the jumped at it, they would die.

"Spectacular." Simon smiled as he praise Simon.

"Thank you, master."

"Next." Simon said.

"I am Mark, I have trained the Punishment Belt Technique to the 15th layer. Thus, I have attained the state of Belt Intent." Mark should have been much happier in saying that he had attained weapon intent, it was just that he felt a bit of shame for attaining intent of belts. He could have at least gotten Whip Intent. 

"I am sorry for being unable to attain Belt Force." Mark sighed from disappointment."

For further reference, when each of the students picked their techniques, part of the knowledge given to them was the knowledge of weapon proficiency rankings. 

Jack's technique disintegrated without glowing, but he ended up attaining the 20th layer in a single moment. It felt like a cheat, but he did not mind. He would train extra hard to make up for cheating. 

"Amazing. I am very proud of you, Mark." Simon patted Mark's shoulder and smiled.

'Master is proud of me! That's right bitches! He's proud of ME!' Mark internally celebrated with a tremendous emotion of happiness and satisfaction, knowing that he had attained such a high level from his efforts alone and was recognised by Simon.

"Next."

Lu stepped forward, looking unusually smug for a kid that got a chopstick technique.

"I'm Lu. I have attained the 69th layer of the Infinite Chopsticks Technique."

"..." 

Around half of the kids fainted after hearing that, especially Mark and Jack. They both began frothing from their mouths, laying on the ground like dead rabid animals.

"Show me what you have learned." Simon just wanted to check that Lu wasn't lying to him.

"RETURN OF ONE BILLION CHOPSTICKS!!!"

It was rain. 

It was raining phantasmal chopsticks from the sky, all of them landing in the garden which everyone could see from the now open walls around the room.

PUCHI PUCHI PUCHI PUCHI…

One billion chopsticks landed and pierced right into the ground before dissipating into thin air. In other words, there was no garden left. It was just ground. It was as if every flower had been grounded up into paste and driven so deep into the earth that the seeds melted and the plant's lineage became neutered just like that.

Genocide.

But at least the mosquitoes died with them.

"Lu, you have made me a proud master." Simon gave Lu a high five.

'Hah! I got a high five. Who cares about a stupid pat on the shoulder? He said my name and gave me a fricken high five! Who can say that they got a high five?' Lu was internally celebrating.

"You have done well in attaining Chopsticks Heart."

"Next."

"I am Yu, I have also attained the 69th layer of my technique, the Smothering Pillow Technique."

He held out a pillow and placed it on a wall.

CRACK

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

The wall exploded into trillions of pieces.

"WAAAAAAAAAAH!!!" Dahlia woke up after that.

"Dahlia go back to sleep, I will ask Mama to give you many hugs later okay?" Simon tried to bribe her into sleeping.

"Okay papa." She went back to sleep.

"I am also very proud to be your master, Yu." Simon gave Yu a high five.

'Hah! I got a high five. Master acknowledges my hard work, I will definitely work hard to make him even more proud!'

"Next."

The ground rumbled as a dark figure approached.

RUMBLE RUMBLE

"I have become enlightened in a divine art…"

"My eyes have become open and I will never look down on my art again. I am one with it. It is a part of me and I am a part of it."

The figure held out a singular flip flop.

He pointed it to the sky.

BOOM

A huge spectral flip flop came crashing down on what was left of the garden, turning the already useless wasteland into a huge 1km deep crater.

"I have attained the 100th layer of the Thunderous Flip Flop Technique. Thus, I am a wielder of Flip Flop Soul."

"..."

Whoever was left fainted.

3 months later:

"Dear wife, Dahlia seems quite mature now. This makes me worried." Simon said as he gazed at what looked like a 10 year old devil.

"She has even stopped calling me 'papa' I am now 'dad' to her!" Simon felt helpless.

"She is growing so quickly. She is only half a year old and she looks like a 10 year old child. Even your disciples look more mature now. It's almost like any youngster you talk to become old in an instant." Malece teased.

"Well whatever, It's nearly time that we go on an adventure. I hope everyone Wil, be ready. I need you to be at least the 7th rank of Devil Magician by next month, I will need you to babysit every once in a while."

"And why should I feel motivated to do that?" Malece seemed lazy in saying this.

"Well, tonight just so happens to be a fortnightly kids event in the dormitory. Every single one of my disciples will be minding their own business and even Dahlia is invited. Meanwhile…" 

"Deal."

"That was too easy." Simon knew how to bribe. At this point, he did not really care. It was just fun, it held not too much meaning if he did it or not. He could probably love the rest of his life without doing it and he would still be fine.

"Back to the main topic…"

"I will be bringing along Lenn, Coliart, and Light. I will also be bringing a legion of Blood Guardians. We have a lot of Blood Guardians now, so I do not believe they will lose too much fighting potential if we take only a legion of 1000 along."

"Good idea. The kids need guards to keep them from getting lost."

"Also, I expect that the Blood Guardians assigned for the adventure will all be at the 3rd rank of Devil Magician at the very least. The kids should be at the 1st rank by then. After they get to the 1st rank, I can begin the ceremony to make them stronger. Only then can we be sure that they are ready to ascend a realm."

'Of course my disciples are strong enough already as they are.'

'These kids are crazy.'

"I understand. What about Dahlia?" Malece asked with a touch of concern.

"She is still very young. So I can only expect the 5th or 6th rank of Devil Magician from her." Simon confidently explained.

"What do you mean 6th layer of Devil Magician?"

"Fine, 6th layer of Visionary it is."

"Keep your expectations reasonable. You don't want to scare our daughter into despair. She is only 6 months old, please be more gentle with her upbringing. What she needs is less training. She is getting tired out as it is. I think we should let her play a bit more often."

"It is not enough. I expect only the best out of my own blood. I know she can do better, it's just that she is lazy." Simon felt slightly annoyed.

"Be a bit more light with her, maybe she will call you papa again."
