Survival to Godhood 81 Inti's Sins

"Leo, did you open a portal somehow?"

The look he received was that of admiration but also anger. "Why was he made?" Leo asked himself.

Leo couldn't even imagine the pain Supay felt at having to wound his Mistress and losing half of his shadow beast horde. He also was tired from fighting almost all of the Construct warriors.

Standing behind her intact shield, Mama Cocha said, "He is not yours to boss around. He is coming with me."

Supay turned to stare at Mama Cocha. "You think you can interrupt me. I surpassed you in strength a long time ago."

Both Construct warriors started to gather mana. Leo's mana sense began to warn him if he didn't get out of here, he would be killed in the crossfire.

"Both of you settle down." A golem wearing deer antlers exited the cave.

"Urcaguary?!?" Both of them said simultaneously.

"Where have you been, his Excellency has been looking for you?"

"Urcaguary, you better watch what you say."

"This boy is under my protection. Mama Cocha, tell Inti the fountain behind the temple open. Supay, you may leave this realm with your shadow beast now."

When Urcaguary finished talking the other two warriors were left speechless. The follower who never spoke out of turn and created whatever Inti wanted spoke with unforeseen confidence he had never displayed before.

"Now, I hope to see you two on the other side. The boy and I have a deal we need to complete. If you wish to continue to fight, please wait until we leave. Leo follow me inside."

Leo felt mana encircle him and relieve the pressure Supay was placing on him. Knowing he needed to leave now, Leo turned towards Urcaguary and walked to the cave.

Urcaguary gave the two of them one last look and walked in. After Leo stepped in the cave closed and they couldn't see the human boy anymore.

The two of them looked at each other and knew if they wanted to leave using the portal they needed to rally their side faster than the other. Supay disappeared up the mountain to gather his beasts. Mama Cocha took off to report to his Excellency.

Mama Cocha busted into the main hall where Mama Quilla and his Excellency were talking.

Seeing the sweat and worry on her face, Inti did not get mad. He just asked, "What is going on, Mama Cocha?"

"The prisoner, Leo, opened the fountain portal. We may return to Kay Pacha now. Supay on his way as we speak."

"Explain yourself later, but at this moment gather everyone to guard the portal."

"Why must we fight? We can all leave this place now."

"Don't question my orders!" A giant fireball was fired at Mama Cocha. She erected a water shield in time to be blown out the doors she entered.

Picking herself off the ground, she looked at Inti and said, "Yes, your Excellency." She stood up and ran off.

Mama Quilla looked at her husband. She knew what he was going to do.

In the cave, Leo carried Apu Sima while following Urcaguary. They entered the room before, and the maiden was waiting on them.

Apu Cavillaca took one look and knew he was carrying her son. She looked happy as could be. "Sima..." she said ever so softly.

"Mama..." the artifact spirit replied. The two souls came together and hugged one another.

Leo smiled at their reunion. Urcaguary looked at Leo and said, "Inti was the one who separated them."

"He turned them into spirits?"

"Yes. Inti's power over life and yang mana allow him to move people's souls. He punished Cavillaca to serve as an Apu for the rest of her life."

"What happened?" Leo asked.

"Long ago Mama Quilla had two disciples by the name of Coniraya and Cavillaca. The two disciples were very much in love. Quilla loved both of them almost as much as Inti. Out of jealousy, Inti moved Coniraya soul to a beggar's deformed body without him ever noticing. Coniraya snuck into Cavillaca room. Under the darkness of the night, they made love. When the moonlight broke through the window, Cavillaca killed the deformed man unbeknownst to her it was Coniraya. Cavillaca became pregnant and offered the newborn to become an Apu. Even though Inti destroyed her life and made her miserable, his wife still doted on her disciple. Inti was determined to have his wife to himself. He told Cavillaca the truth of her true love and her son. In her rage, she attacked him. For attacking the ruler, she doomed her to an Apu in Uhku Pacha so she would never be in the same realm as her son."

The story made Leo pity the two before him. One man's jealousy caused them a lifetime of regret and pain. He kept this mother and son apart.

"Sadly, she is only one of many he has harmed."

Inti and Supay faced off in the skies above the portal.

"Inti let me and my horde through. Once we are gone, you can have this world."

"Supay, I don't want this world. I only wish for power and one other thing." Inti looked Supay up and down. Everything about Supay reminded him of Pachacamac. Pachacamac was always his Master's favorite. Today he would kill his disciple and re-enter earth as a god.

"You don't have enough life force to compete with me. Just fighting me would extinguish your last bit of life force."

"I prepared myself for this. Mama Pacha, Catequil, Urcaguary, and Mama Cocha come to me."

Three of them entered the skies next to Inti. Inti looked around and asked, "Where is Urcaguary?"

"He does not fight with us anymore."

Inti turned his head and stared at Supay. A fire burned in his eyes for this betrayal. What he didn't know was Urcaguary chose to be his own side.

Inti turned back to his three loyal followers and said, "Thank you for always staying by my side." The three nodded their heads. They would always follow Inti.

Inti clasped his rocky hands together, and the three golems started to burn with a bright flame.

"Ahhhhh." Mama Cocha tried to snuff out the flames, but they kept burning her alive.

The other two tried to do the same but failed. The three of them turned to ash in an instant, but all of their life force was absorbed into Inti. The horror of sacrificing the leaders of their kingdom in a moment shocked everyone.

Inti turned and looked at Supay. Flames all around Inti started to dance. "Prepare to die, Supay."

"Inti, you will pay for your sins against your people."
