Survival to Godhood 56 Samantha

A few beastmen tried to stop Leo, but Leo was ruthless and killed three of the four. Nothing was going to stop him.

A heavy metal fenced area came into view with the gate open. A few dead beastmen were scattered around.

Leo ran into the fenced area and was horrified. Leo puked upon the sight and the smell before him. Several human males were killed and strung out before him. Organs and blood covered the ground.

Leo fell to his knees. "Noooo..." Leo cried. "Why did they have to die? Why..." Leo finally stood up and looked around. He saw a few familiar faces among the dead men and a few he had never seen. He didn't find Joe among the males.

He started to leave when he looked down to see a boy about ten years old dead with his throat slit.

This was what happens during war. Leo would forever ingrain this memory into him. He would keep him up for the nights to come.

Leo walked out a back gate that was open. He then heard a scream from another fenced in area. "That must be the female area."

Leo used his movement technique to get there in time to see a canine beastman raping a female human. Bodies of beat up and raped women laid beneath the two beastmen. With each thrust, the woman screamed.

"Die bastards. Gada. Leo whipped out his mace and smashed it into the beastman who was raping the girl. Using all his mana and strength, he could muster the beastman was tossed into the wall breaking his neck.

The other beastman backed up in horror. "Buffalo Cage! TOMBSTONE!" Leo squeezed the cage of earth on the beastman until blood oozed through the rocks.

Leo ran over to the girl and saw a look on her face that expressed she was glad the pain was over. She was bleeding from her lower orphases. She died right there from bleeding to death.

Leo covered her body with some clothes at the side of her. Then he heard a voice, "are the beastmen gone." Leo turned to see four women holding two babies.

Leo saddened face almost smiled. It was Samantha. She had a more massive belly. Her curly brown hair was a mess, and her face was dirty. The once happy girl no longer existed and now only an abused and pregnant woman remained.

When she saw Leo, she started to tear up. Her tears fell upon the baby causing it to cry. A woman next to her grabbed the baby from her and said, "Samantha go say hello to the boy."

Seeing Anna grab her baby safely, Samantha ran over and hugged the boy. Leo didn't know what to do. He dropped his Gada on the ground and was embraced by a woman what felt like a long time. She cried and cried in his embrace.

All her past troubles and events melted away. Samantha felt like that girl walking and viewing the bison again.

"Samantha...we need to get out of her. It is not safe," Leo said after she calmed down a bit. Leo looked over at the old woman who hair had greyed. "Nice to see you again Anna."

"You too, Leo."

Leo picked up Gada and shrunk it. Then he gathered the women and children to leave. Upon leaving the gated area, he ran into a building with a crashed airship.

"Damn it. This thing won't fly."

"Leo, we have beastmen coming."

Leo looked down the way to see a hovercraft coming their way. "Get in the ship and hide in there. I will take care of these men." The four women loaded into the ship to hide. Samantha watched Leo leave and felt something she hadn't had in a long time. Hope.

Leo picked up a rock. "Rock Shot!" Using mana Leo flung the stone forward and stabbed the beastman driving in the eye. The beastman crashed the vehicle into the female prison's wall and screamed.

Appearing next to the craft, Leo ripped the driver out and threw him. The passenger still shocked by the crash was also thrown out of the vehicle.

The last thing the two of them heard was, "Tombstone!" The ground opened and crushed the two men. Blood seeped up from underneath. Leo jumped into the hovercraft and drove it over to the ship.

The four women came out and loaded into the craft. "Hang on tight." Leo sped off northward to get out of the battle zone. As he was leaving, he heard a loud announcement.

"Deathclaw. Your beastmen have been defeated. Come and fight me one on one," the projected voice said.

Leo slowed the hovercraft to a halt. He looked over at the women. They were dirty, exhausted, and defeated. Leo wanted with all his being to protect them. At the same time, he needed to save one more woman.

"Anna drive these women to this location." He pointed on the screen of his and Shadow's old base camp. Leo ripped a piece of his uniform and handed it to Samantha. "Show this if to cat beast arrive. They're my friends." Puzzled, Samantha still took the piece of Cloth.

"Leo, be careful," Samantha said. It almost looked like she was going to cry again. She looked down at the baby. This was the first time Leo examined the baby, and he realized that the baby was half canine beastman. After looking at her baby, Samantha somehow smiled.

"Thank you, Leo and good luck." Anna didn't know what he was here to do, but it was surely not to save them. She wasn't mad. She was just worried.

Anna sped off northward as Leo turned around and ran back into the fray.

A group of beastmen that were hiding from the battle saw the exchange between the humans and Leo running off. They were afraid of losing their life, but they were not scared of any humans.

"Should we follow the boy or the female humans?"

"Let's go after those prisoners." The three beastmen powered on their hovercraft and flew off after the women.

After cruising for a few miles, one the girls looked back and saw a hovercraft after them. The ship behind them was gaining fast. "I don't think we are going to outrun them," Anna said.

While holding her baby, Samantha's arms started to shake. She looked at the lady with her hands-free and said, "please hold my little Leo. Anna, stop the ship." Anna looked at a face she had never seen Samantha give. Anna stopped the craft, and Anna grabbed something.

The beastmen pulled up surprised they stopped. They were about to start firing on the women. This made them happy they didn't have to kill them.

Samantha said nothing but motioned the three beastmen to come over. She stepped out the craft to meet them halfway. As two of them were upon here, she pulled out the blaster from behind her.

*PEW*

The blaster went off and blasted one in the face. She shoved the barrel into the beastman's belly and fired.

*PEW* *PEW* *PEW*

The beastman fell over dead instantly. He didn't even get a chance to think what happened.

The third beast man ran up and used an Iron Reaper to gut Samantha. The claw plunged into her pregnant belly. A look of disdain and hatred was all the beastman saw on her face. She shoved the gun into the side of his head and fired.

*PEW*

Both fell to the ground. Anna ran over and cried. "Samantha, why? Why? Why did...Why?"

Blood seeped out her mouth, and she pointed to the baby in the other woman's hands. "Tell them both. I loved them." Anna cried as Samantha died in her arms.
