Survival to Godhood 35 Hijacking Hope

"Leo! Queen's Hell Fire!" A black and golden flame funnel of flames slammed into Azuel. He was blown into the wall, and in less than a minute only dust remained.

Lucy ran over and looked at the bloody mess that was left of Leo. It looked like he was in a battle for his life. As soon as Lucy pulled out the ice polearm, Leo passed out.

"Water Art: Healing Sphere." Lucy used the mermanians water arts and slightly healed Leo's wounds.

"Azuel report. What is taking so long." The mermanian, Chuchu, knew something happened. He radioed back to command reporting a Mana Fighter went down and requested back up.

The mermanian who called for the queen got the call from Chuchu. "I will grab some Mana Fighters and head that way." He gathered three other warriors that weren't killed yet and headed towards the factory.

Since the Queen arrived, all of the low-level men stayed out of the way for fear of dying.

The mermanian was a pureblood mermanian and at early Core Builder level. His skill at water arts was the highest at his level. He also trained in the law of lightning similar to Hiro. He is called Sektil, and he is in charge of security for the island.

The four mermanians showed up, and Chuchu briefed them on the situation. The three mermanians knocked out outside the ship were still unconscious.

Inside the ship, Lucy was nursing Leo's wounds. Then a screen turned on, and Lucy saw the warriors outside were about to come onto the boat. She looked at Leo and knew she couldn't fight near him. She ran out into the corridor and to the entrance.

The four of them were about to enter the boat when a gust of wind blew them back. Standing in the doorway, Lucy stared at all four of them. Her blues eyes lit up a bright hue of sky-blue.

"You will not enter this boat."

Lucy launched a variety of attacks at the newcomers. Fire, wind, water, and metal. Anything in the area became a projectile. She was tossing icicles, fireballs, and everything she could muster.

"Be careful. She is a Paragon. She can use all the elements. Everyone use Ice Prison." All four mermanians used Ice Prison. The air around Lucy started to freeze. She was completely trapped in ice.

"Queen's Hell Fire," Lucy said while trapped in the ice. Fire encircled her and melted the ice. "You will pay for that." Lucy rarely fought even for training. With her skills, she never had a real challenge. Every time she got mad, she was able to compete with most Core Builders. Her versatility makes her a dangerous opponent.

Lucy used a wind-styled movement technique and disappeared. Queen's Hell Fire encircled one of the Mana Fighters and instantly died.

"Do not spread out! You two back me up," he commanded as the two mermanians were running over.

"Queen's Storming Fury!" Lighting formed in each of her hands. She struck down both mermanians and fried them.

"You witch! Ice Shards!"

Lucy blasted the ice with fire and ran at the mermanian. "How do you like your own move?" The mermanian was on alert and saw her stretch out her arm, but he didn't see any attack. Then a sharp object pierced his back.

Looking down blood poured from the icicle stabbed through his chest. The Core Builder died just like that.

Lucy finally relaxed, and she realized she over exhausted all the mana she stored up. She fell over and passed out.

A few minutes later, Leo woke up in pain. He looked around and realized he was in the bridge. After struggling to get up, he noticed the monitor was on. He saw four mermanians and lucy laying on the ground.

In the corner of the screen, Chuchu walked over with a blaster.

"No! Lucy, get up." Leaning on the helm, Leo slammed his fist down. "Stupid ship! Turn on!" Leo punched the crystal with his damaged hand. Blood dripped down on the crystal. The gem absorbed the blood and started turning purple.

"Please, I can't watch another friend die..." Leo started to tear up. He was in no shape to run out there and was left inside to watch Lucy's death.

If someone were in the engine room, they would have seen the core start to spin. The entire ship started turning on.

"Human, I'm going to kill you." Chuchu held up the blaster. Then a gust of wind from the engines blew out in all directions. "Why is the ship on?"

All kinds of lights started to turn on in the bridge. Leo looked around and didn't know what was happening.

*Booting up* "Initializing." The ships engines turned on, and the weapons were armed. "All system is green. Scanning the master now...Complete. Master, what are your orders?"

Leo was not understanding what's going on, and said the first thing that came to mind, "save Lucy."

"I do not understand what this 'Lucy' is? Please rephrase the sentence."

"Kill that mermanian!"

The ship's guns locked on to Chuchu. "No, what is going on? Why are the ship's weapons pointed at me?"

*Pew* *Pew* *Pew* *Pew* *Pew* *Pew* *Pew* *Pew*

The laser guns obliterated the mermanian. After seeing the man killed, Leo breathed a sigh of relief.

"Master, what is your next command?"

Leo thought to himself that this boat thinks it's his master. This was very similar to his relationship with Sprite. "Boat, what is your name?"

"Master, I was given the name Hope."

"Alright Hope, can you recover my friend and get us out of here?"

A metal arm extended from the ship and grabbed Lucy and brought her aboard. "Master, where would you like to go?"

"We have to retrieve Hiro. Hope head to the other side of the island." Leo didn't know exactly was going on, but he understood that the ship was following his commands for some reason.

Hope blasted the factory door and sped off to the other side of the island.
