Survival to Godhood 114 Exibition Matches

"Is this mine?" As soon as Pedro grabbed it, he could feel his sensitivity towards lightning mana increase.

"Yes, use it well."

Pedro couldn't control himself and hugged Leo. Isabella chuckled at Pedro acting like a little kid getting candy. An organizer came over and led Pedro and Isabella to the waiting area.

Leo headed to the judge's area. Walking up, a mermanian women in a green dress turned around and gave him an evil look.

"That must be the Lecture Hall Master."

She overheard his statement and said, "My name is Misera. I'm going to crush you today in our match for having me excommunicated."

This whole situation is Aarav's fault. If he were around, Leo would punch him so hard. The mermanian said her peace and went and sat back down.

Clash and Gladier were also here. Both looked to readying themselves for their matches. Looking around Leo spotted Shadow coming towards him.

"Good morning."

"You ready? Your opponent looks pretty angry at you." She said in a joking manner.

"I hear Clash isn't no walk in the park either."

"I know." Shadow clenched her fist. She was only 2nd Shattering while he was in the Last Shattering level, but Leo taught her a long time ago, levels don't decide the outcome.

Eventually, everyone started to fill in each arena. They built four stages for the tourney, and each one would have an exhibition match at it. Leo found out he would be at arena three. While he was heading over to the stadium with Misera behind him, a loud booming voice was heard in the sky.

Aarav was in an airship hovering over the area. Using an intercom system, everyone heard Aarav loud and clear. "Welcome to the Unity College's first tournament. We have 384 participants today ranging from ten years old to eighteen years old. To start off the tournament, the judges will battle each other to showcase Unity College's prowess."

"In arena one, we have Cultivation Hall Master, Gladier, vs. Head Master, Shui." Many of the female fans broke out in an uproar over Gladier and his good looks.

"When did they make her Head Master?" Leo asked himself.

"In arena two, we have Battle Hall Master, Clash, vs. Beastmen Liberator, Shadow." Many of the gladiators and fighter broke out chanting for Clash and Shadow.

"In arena three, we have Lecture Hall Master, Misera, vs. Beast Master, Leo." Everyone heard about Leo and started to chant for him mostly. This only seemed to anger Misera even more.

"In arena four, we have Council Member, Mitne, vs. Council Member, Sargt. To settle the long debate on which Draconian is stronger." Several draconian revered the two of them. Not only did Sargt stand up to Charir-dar, but he was also appointed to the council by the mighty guardian, Lankani.

The fighters took up their positions opposite of each in each arena. Leo faced off against Misera. He took out his forging hammer and readied himself.

"Begin the matches." Aarav projected out for all to hear.

Misera dove at Leo brandishing her golden trident. Aquamarine battle armor surrounded her and lightning trickled across her body. She stabbed out with her weapon and a funnel of water and electricity hurdled towards Leo. This move was her legendary Shock Twister technique.

Leo stomped on the ground an erected a Buffalo Wall to block the blast. Seeing his earth-like wall destroyed in seconds told Leo she wasn't holding back. He had to leap to the left to get out of the way.

Misera chased after Leo and stabbed at him. Leo flicked his hammer to deflect the trident, but once the weapons clashed Leo was electrocuted and blown backward.

The mermanian warrior spun her trident and stabbed it into the ground, and a water spout blasted Leo from underneath him launching him into the air causing him to drop his hammer in the process.

She fired another Shock Twister at Leo. He couldn't defend with anything, so he just crossed his arms and received the attack propelling him backward into the arena's wall causing a dust cloud to form.

Three earth spikes emerged from the clouds hurdling towards Misera. She erected an Ice Barrier to block them. Leo followed behind the spikes punching each one to pierce and shatter the barrier they were stabbed into.

Misera's barrier shattered, so she leaped back and launched another Shock Twister. Leo released his Shock Twister he absorbed early. He also executed Metal Control with his other hand causing his forging hammer to fly at Misera's back. Misera spun around and knocked the hammer away.

"Descending Moon!" Leo attacked the mermanian with a yin mana dropkick.

A Water Blast shot towards Leo. Even with her back turned she could still fire attacks. Leo's yin-mana kick sliced the water attack in half. Once Leo's Descending Moon smashed into the ground, Misera had already moved away.

"Tri-Shock Twister!" Three twisters tunneled at Leo.

He created three Buffalo Walls, but the twister attacked drilled through and crashed into Leo blasting him away. After the dust and water dissipated, Leo shouted out, "I concede."

This was just a sparring match for public display. There was no need for Leo to go all out against a warrior in there 1st Shattering when he was only an early Core Builder.

"I'm not done with you." Screamed the normally tranquil mermanian.

"You win, Lecture Hall Master. The kids in Unity College have a talented teacher." Leo bowed and left the arena.

The crowd cheered. Not only was Beast Master strong, but he was also humble. Seeing the crowd approve of Leo's yielding to her, Misera felt powerless because she wanted to vent her anger more.

The other three exhibition matches finished shortly after Leo's. Clash won with pure strength against Shadow's speed and yin attacks. Sargt's new techniques couldn't break Mitne's defense and were defeated.

The most destructive was between Shui and Gladier. Shui had the advantage since she fought a winged human before. She eventually overpowered him, and even though he was prideful, he yielded. Gladier was upset they brought in another race to be Head Master.

Shui learned a bit about the teachers below her, so she sent a mana message. "Gladier, I was once a human of this planet, but due to circumstances these are our new bodies."

The Cultivation Hall Master face contorted. The rock people from Machu Pichu were once earthlings. He had to report this back to his people. He immediately became more respectful and said, "Thank you for the match, Head Master."

With their fight coming to an end, the exhibition matches, and Aarav started to announce the rules of the first round of the tournament.
