All his bodyguards stepped forward but he stopped them. Even though Xie Shenjun's hand was paining a lot, he hid the pain and said, "I am sorry but you call Feng Xinying now." He offered his phone to her. Quickly she called her but she wasn't picking. Xie Shenjun showed her the text and picture she had sent and also told her about her staying arrangements. It took some time for Keira to trust them. But when things settled, she found herself being guided to the parking area with the guards dragging her two suitcases and Xie Shenjun leading the way.

Soon they were speeding on the roads with the guards following them.

In the car, Xie Shenjun found himself stealing glances at her as she was finding it difficult to stay awake. Not able to withstand the sleep anymore Keira slumped to her side bumping her on the window in the process. Xie Shenjun thought how stupid she was. Gently he pulled her towards him and made her rest her head on the car seat. Now that she was sleeping, he could stare at her without feeling scared of her. And he stared at her until they reached her apartment.

He woke her up and guided her to the apartment. The guards carried the luggage inside. Keira thanked him and waited for him to leave so she could crash on bed. The guards went out but Xie Shenjun didn't even budge from his place. Keira looked at him questioningly. She realized she hadn't thanked him and said, "Thank you so much Mr…?"

"Xie Shenjun," he replied immediately.

"Oh right, sorry I forgot your name. So sleepy…"

Xie Shenjun smiled at her staring at her stupidly. Why was he finding her so pretty?

She was quiet for sometime out of manners, and then said, "I really have to sleep now. Can you go?"

His smile vanished instantly and instead he looked pained. But he bowed and said, "Yes. See you soon," and left her apartment. He waited outside the door until she closed the door.

That night Keira slept like a log while Xie Shenjun couldn't wink an eye. He tried his best not to think of a tomboyish girl like Keira but he ended up thinking about her only. He couldn't help thinking her throwing her head back to remove those curls from her forehead and the way that black-beaded string looked so nice on her ankle that he shifted in his place. He took his phone out to see her picture.

Back in the Feng mansion, Feng Xinying had slept holding his hand steadily. However, as soon as she drifted in deep slumber, her grip became lose.

Xie Yuansheng opened his eyes feeling very thirsty. He was having fever but he didn't realize when he became unconscious. He felt as if the entire time he was dreaming. He looked around his room, which was now dimly lit. Only the bedside lamps were on. To his surprise, he saw that Feng Xinying was sleeping right beside him loosely holding his hand. There was no one else other than the two of them. Softly he removed her hand and checked the time. It was only 5am. The water was kept right beside him. He had water and turned to look at Feng Xinying.

Her hair were messed up, as some of them strayed on her beautiful face. Her miniskirt had further gone up her thighs exposing her long slender legs and her shirt's first button was open revealing her collarbone. Xie Yuansheng softly went near her.

He removed the hair from her face gently and tucked them behind her ear. He took his hand to her collarbone and stroked her there. Lying on the soft mattress wrapped unevenly in the silk sheets, he gazed upon her perfect naked legs, her skin was glistening under that dim light. It was so sensuous that Xie Yuansheng glided his fingers over them. If the gods were real, then this woman was their masterpiece, he told himself.

"I love you Feng Xinying… Please don't leave me…" he whispered as he felt her smooth skin. He wanted to embrace her right there and then but had to restrict himself. If it had been his past life, he would have woken her up and had sex with her. But in this life he had promised to wait for her to open up to him.

Slowly he bent down and brushed her lips with his. Even though he was recuperating from illness, he could feel his member gorging. He sneaked below her silk sheets and watched her breathing as her breasts heaved. Intoxicated by her smell, he stroked himself and felt better.

All of a sudden he felt her stir up a little. Afraid that he would be caught in his act, he sprang back to his pillow and closed his eyes.

Feng Xinying had woken up. The first thing she did was to shift near him and see if he was alright. She placed her hand over his forehead and was thankful that the temperature was down.

She looked around for the nurse, but there was no trace of her in the room. Feeling annoyed all over again that she had to stay with him, she went to her pillow and slept. She decided to leave him as soon as he woke up.

Xie Yuansheng kept playing until she slept and then again got up to sneak beneath her sheets.

Finally she woke up in the morning at around 8am and found that Xie Yuansheng was sleeping right beside her in her sheets with his hand on her bare thighs and his face in her breasts. Her face reddened as she removed his hand from there and leapt out of the bed.
