"Huh? Is that?" Dan once again peeked his head out the window, where he saw something familiar lying on the edge of the road, near the fence of the apartment building they're at.

Dan then opened the front door and cautiously went down the stairs, and he opened the gate as silent as possible, before poking his head out, and started looking around.

He then stepped past out of the gate, and made a dash towards the side of the road, and picked up the thing he saw from the second floor and immediately headed back inside, as he locked the gate and put up the barricades he took down, before going back to the apartment.

He closed the door behind him, and leaned his back at it as he breathed heavily from nervousness.

But feeling that heavy thing in his hand, he smiled and took a look at it.

"I knew it, It was a real pistol all along" Dan smiled, but then he suddenly muffled in confusion.

"Why was it lying on the ground anyway. I knew that it wasn't there in the first place as we've passed by that road a countless times"

"Wait, could the man who was riding that huge beast earlier dropped this?" he suddenly came into a conclusion that Leo must have dropped it earlier.

"Oh well...I guess it's mine now" Dan smiled happily as he caressed the pistol on his hand, and he checked its magazine and saw that it's full of bullets.

The pistol in Dan's hand is a Glock 19 with 15 rounds of bullets in its magazine.

Leo just hoped that this kid at least knew how to fire a gun and doesn't get himself killed.

Leo had just left the former military camp, and went back to where Shade is taking a nap.

Leo then just summoned him back, and left the village on foot as it's been a long time since he enjoyed the scenery in a rural village.

"Should I just fly over there or make the trip on the road and hope that there would be interesting things along the way?" Leo started pacing back and forth, because flying over would let him reach the town in a couple of minutes, but he also wanted to move along the road and hope that he could rescue some people along the way and take them under his wing, as his temporary henchmen while he's in the country.

Leo then pressed the intercom connected behind his ear.

"Who is it?" Leo said with an authoritative voice.

Hearing him, Leo suddenly smiled widely, "Good! I want your ETA Captain!"

"Good, I'll open up my locator on my side, just follow it when you guys reach land" Leo smiled as he pressed a button at the wrist band attached at his hand, and then a small spot in the middle started blinking green.

It's a gadget created by Alastair during his free time, and there are currently only ten pieces of those created, one is given to Leo, Amanda, Michelle, Tom, Aria, Luna and Rachel, and the rest were given to the military for their recon missions.

After all, even without Leo's orders, his army still continuously clear out the unsafe zones like villages and small towns. They would spread out at every direction starting from the place where they are deployed.
