Stronghold In The Apocalypse 53 Weird Creature

Leo and the rest started cleaning the zombie around them while the Pelican landed on the ground as it's hatch opened.

"Inside now!" Leo yelled at the three survivors as he and the other continued shooting and killing at the incoming zombies.

"Zabu, come back!" Leo yelled at Zabu who was at the forefront, killing zombies using his hammer.

"Yes!" Zabu yelled back and immediately dashed back inside the Pelican.

"Go!" Leo gave one more shot before he slowly walked back inside followed by David, who's covered in sweat while the hatch behind them closed.

"Whew!" Leo wiped off the non-existent sweat on his forehead and then he looked at the three dumbfounded people looking at him, except for the muscular police officer who looks at them like he was seeing a ghost, the other two were looking at them with shining eyes, especially the little whose eyes were stuck staring intently on the rifle on David's hand which made him glance at Zabu with smugness like he was saying 'See? Even a little girl knows whose better between us' which Zabu just smiled with disdain, knowing that he killed more zombie than him even though he was already equipped with a far more advanced weapon.

And it seems that David guessed what he was thinking just looking at his expression which made his eyes twitched erratically as the tension between them intensified.

Leo, feeling the building tension behind him just smiled warily, not knowing if he should laugh or cry as he was clueless of why they are like this as all of it started the moment that they got summoned together.

"Enough! You two are an embarrassment in front of our Leader and can't you those three already shivering from fear because the aura that you both are releasing!? Look at the child, she's scar- uhh nevermind!" Alastair whose been silent until now rebuked them but his last sentence didn't came out right because he saw the little girl not shivering but with excitement like she was injected with a dose of adrenaline and suddenly she snorted with a laugh and said with a childlike voice "Those two uncles are so funny?"

"U-u-uncle, m-me?" David suddenly stuttered when he heard that he was being called uncle.

"N-no, I'm not an uncle girly. I'm still young!" David tried to correct her but she just tilted her head confused and then giggled like she saw something funny.

"Haha! You're now an uncle pretty boy!" Zabu laughed so loud that tears are coming out of his eyes while he kept slapping his knees.

"What about you!? You're already looked like a f*cking grandpa, you bastard!"

"So?"

"What~!?" David exclaimed, feeling confused as he wasn't expecting that kind of an answer from him.

"Well, I don't really mind being called a grandpa though, hahaha!" Zabu laughed happily like he just won the lottery.

Leo just ignored them, thinking to himself 'Moments like this are already considered in this time of chaos, so long as they follow my orders with finesse, so what the heck, right?'.

"What are your names?"

"Brandon"

"Ash and this i-is my sister Rena. Thank you for saving us!"

"Don't sweat it!" Leo smiled as he tapped on their shoulders before walked towards to the cockpit.

Alastair just shook his head and just ignored them and went back to napping while Ash and Brandon just sat there rigidly with their backs laying on their sits and probably the only person among them whose normal is Rena? Who just kept giggling at David and Zabu.

But what Leo and the rest didn't notice was the pair of eyes looking at them when the Pelican took off in the air.

"#@&%3#%@ef" at a tall high rise building, in one of the rooms of the 20th floor was a weird looking creature standing by the window and was talking something like gibberish while wearing what looks like an armored space suit while staring at the disappearing silhouette of the Pelican.

It was a creature that has the face of Davy Jones but having only four short tentacles, around 5 inches hanging down from its chin. It's head was like a human shape head but the backside of it was like half the size of a xenomorph's head while wearing what looks like an armored space suit and it stands on two feet with a height around six foot and ten inches.

"&$&%*#@#$?%#" a gibberish but dignified voice was heard from the little speaker on his suit, near his neck.

"#^$&$#*@%$^$*#" the creature replied while nodding his head and he pressed something like a button on his arm guard and suddenly his head was covered in a black helmet that looks like a customized bike helmet just to fit around his entire head.

The creature then started walking with heavy footsteps towards the rooftop of the building when upon arriving there, he stopped and then another button on his wrist and something amazing happened.

A weird triangular aircraft that looks like it was alive just based on it looks just appeared slowly out of nowhere on the rooftop, like it was invisible earlier.

The Davy Jones look alike creature entered the aircraft through a small hatch door on the backside that produced a hissing sound when it opened.

'It' operated the ship as it took off into the air and it hovered there for a three seconds and the ship turned towards a direction of the east while it slowly disappeared and sped off into the distance.

"Hmmm..?" Leo noticed a red dot that flickered on his map before it zoomed away disappearing.

"The heck was that? Was it a glitch?" Leo muttered to himself and felt like he just he missed something very important along with a small foreboding feeling inside.

Leo thought for a bit if he forgot something but then shrugged off his shoulders when he can't seem to figure what it was.

The gang then was able to rescue seven more people when Leo decided to loot some supplies before going back when they met four women, a little boy and two men.

Of course, Leo did it deliberately as he already saw them on the map and Leo wanted to beat them at looting the entire grocery store and the pharmacy.

And from them, Leo learned that there were actually a huge military convoy exiting the City of Westminster a few days ago.

Leo thought that it was probably the royal family that was being escorted.

"Let's go back!"
