Stronghold In The Apocalypse 27 Start, Havoc In the City

Leo parked his car on a clearing and got out from the car and looked at the buildings from afar with smokes still coming out from them.

"Damn, even from this far away. I can still those annoying moaning of zombies, it's like an orgy for an entire city of zombies" Leo snorted in annoyance from the sounds as he immediately equipped both Armor and his M395 DMR and dashed deeper inside Manchester as he already had a destination in mind.

Along the way, Leo killed every Zombie around him and he was even forced to used [Primal Roar] from just how dense these Zombies, it wasn't an understatement to call them a horde if all of zombies regroup into one, sadly they don't have that kind of thinking as their only thoughts in their minds is to feast upon human flesh.

Leo already checked his map and saw that there are still plenty of survivors within the city, hiding within some of the buildings or places that the Zombies can't easily get into.

"Dammit! Only over a day passed but the entire city is only left with probably over twenty thousand surviving humans left! Over half a million turned, leaving only a few!" Leo's look darkened, he already knows how scary a zombie apocalypse but he wasn't expecting that the over five hundred thousand of population of city would turn into zombies

"Those so called analysis experts or whatnots are all quacks!" Leo cursed those "experts" who acts like they know how to survive in a zombie infested world, even giving tips to the populace.

Leo didn't halt on his steps as he continued to bulldoze towards the city center killing all zombies with a couple of mutated beast even turned up with Leo happily storing their corpses in the Inventory.

Almost an hour on the road, Leo finally reached his destination, it was Barklays, one of the biggest bank in UK. Leo cleaned up all the surrounding zombies before going inside. This time Leo didn't break the glass like back in L.A instead he took an iron rod nearby and stuck it on the door handle preventing any zombies or even living people coming inside.

Then Leo smashed the zombie's head into a pulp while wearing a security guard uniform who was chewing on his Armor before he killed the remaining zombies inside before proceeding towards the path leading to the bank vault.

Leo smiled as he stood in front of the vault and he opened the system status screen.

[+15 Strength, +5 Agility, +2 Stamina, +3 Vitality]

Leo assigned all of his Free Stats before closing the interface as he walked the vault and ripped off far more easily than last time.

"Wow, I'm this strong now?" Leo looked his hands and smiled with sparkling eyes.

Leo then proceeded to go inside and what greeted is a huge wall made of silver, of course it's not really silver as those are safety boxes. Leo excitedly ran up to them and forcefully opened them all as he took everything inside from golds, precious jewelries, gems and plenty of cash. Surprisingly, all of them amounted to over £100,000,000 when the system converted all of them into cash.

"I'm rich! I can finally start my plan!" Leo exclaimed in joy as he even raised a fist up high.

Leo immediately opened the system and opened the Arsenal section and Leo surprisingly bought a M808B "Scorpion" MBT similar to the one from Halo, that costed a whopping price of £90,000,000 and he even bought two thousand S1 Canister Shell for the tank, with each costing £5,000, leaving him only with over £5,000,000 left.

Leo laughed like a maniac and a few seconds later, he stopped and hurriedly said in his mind "System, please take out the Android Guard I from the Inventory"

The system complied as a light in the shape of a human appeared in front of Leo and the slowly diminished, revealing a muscular man, who was just a couple of inches shorter than Leo. The man was wearing a standard UNSC Army BDU, equipped with MA37 ICWS and M6G PDWS as a sidearm, in short he was fully equipped from head to toe.

"Damn~, this dude is battle ready" Leo exclaimed as he move around Android Guard I, inspecting it.

"What's your name?" Leo stood in front of the Android and asked.

The Android stood in attention and surprisingly said "Reporting to Commander! I'm Guard I, at your service!"

"Eh~? System, why does "it" sounded like a human, shouldn't it have like a bit of a robotic voice?" Leo was surprised when he heard the Android talk like an ordinary human.

"Androids are created based from Humans, in short they are almost like humans who can think for themselves with the only difference is that they are made from the same material like your Armor and with their only 'flaw' being is that they can't disobey the host orders" the system explained.

"What!? That's too high tech even for you System!" Leo said surprised.

"Because the System is omnipotent, even curing human's who was bitten by a zombie is not impossible" the system said.

"Why does it sounded like your bragging instead?"

"..."

"If 'he' is made from the same material like my Armor, does that mean, 'he's bullet, zombie bite, blast proof Android? Wow, that is sick and I like it!" Leo said in joy.

"Calling yourself Guard I is too cringy, from now on you're name is….Alex? Yeah, Alex" Leo said as he rubbed his nose but sounded a bit proud.

System "..."

Android Guard I (Alex) "..."

"What? You don't like it?" Leo's voice from inside his helmet sounded menacing.

"Thanks for giving me a name Commander" Alex said seriously.

Leo nodded satisfied and then an idea popped within his mind that he almost forgot earlier "Hey Alex, do you know how to operate the M808B "Scorpion" Tank?"

"Yes Commander" Alex replied.

"All alone? You should know that I don't how to operate it and there's no one here who would help you"

"I'm an android commander, doing something as operating a two man crew tank is a piece of cake" Alex said confidently.

Hearing Alex, Leo's eyes lit up in joy and anticipation and he hurriedly walked towards the exit while saying "Come on! Let's go!"

Alex immediately followed behind him, exuding the aura of a battle hardened soldier.

Leo stood in front of the building and just behind him is Alex, as the Zombies around them started walking towards them.

Leo said to the system "System, please take out the tank and put it in front of me"

Just as those words left his mouth, a bright light appeared in front of them as the M808B "Scorpion" Tank appeared and landed on the ground crushing dozens of zombies under him.

Leo hastily went inside the tank with Alex following behind him.

Inside the Tank, Leo had Alex load its cannon shells, totalling to fifty shells in total and Leo surprisingly discovered that The Scorpion has a simplified AI that controls the reloading of the main cannon and only did he got enlightened why this tank is possible to be operated by two people, the pilot also at the commander of the tank can drive, adjust the cannon and fire it at the same time and surprisingly he can everything around him using the monitors in front of the pilot while the other crew would mount the machine gun as he picks off enemies that too close to the tank.

"This is the future" Leo said in an emotional tone.

"Sir, we're ready" Alex who was sitting in the pilot seat said.

"Allright! Kill all of Zombies but make sure to focus those in groups!" Leo commanded as he operated the mounted machine gun.

The tank started moving as it crushed all Zombies on its way and it started wreaking havoc under the gloomy night sky.

BOOM~! RATATATA~! BOOM~! RATATATA~! BOOM~! RATATATA~!

"HELL YEAH!!!" Leo yelled as his blood boiled in excitement.
