Stronghold In The Apocalypse 161 Capture Them!

"Its looks good, sir and I only need to tweak and replace some parts and the tanks and the planes would b-"

"No, no, no. What I meant was if the machines required for manufacturing of the weapons could still of some use or do we need to replace it?" Leo immediately cut him off mid sentence as both of them clearly had a short misunderstanding there.

*Bang!* Bang!* Bang! *Rattatata!*

And the other two, Zabu and David had split up as they started clearing the zombies and mutated zombies and beasts around the place, that's the reason why that they would occasionally hear some gunshots outside the building.

"How long would it take?" Leo asked again.

"Around an hour at least" this time it was Alastair's turn to answer as he opened a red metallic cabinet and inside it are tools and some kind of different spare parts.

*Clap*

Leo clapped his hands and said, "Alright, both of you get on with it then"

*Rushing footsteps*

"Commander, this is a bit bad. There's an armed group heading towards here" Zabu and David rushed inside while covered in filthy blood.

"Yes, I saw" Leo said as he saw that there are ten red life signals or red dots rushing towards their direction.

Leo then to looked at Zabu and said, "Is it the military?"

Zabu shook his head and said, "No, sir but their vehicles are modified like a tank"

Leo nodded as he slowly walked out from the building and headed towards the tallest building by leaping through the smaller buildings around it as Zabu and David also followed behind him and copied his movements and landed on top of the building and just a couple of steps behind Leo.

"Hmmm" Leo lowered the binoculars from his eyes as he rubbed his chin with his other hand.

"Capture them" Leo ordered without looking back.

""Yes, sir""

Both Zabu and David said at the same time as they saluted and they immediately ran forward as they passed by Leo and jumped off the building like it was something very "normal" thing to do.

Leo didn't want to immediately kill them but wanted to capture them instead because he wanted for Amanda and Michelle to at least kill one of them each. It's because he knows that the two women haven't killed a person before especially Amanda who haven't pulled a trigger before towards a fellow human being unlike Michelle who had at least killed one or two people before.

He wanted them to get used to killing other humans but not because in the name of fun or something but more so because he wanted them to not hesitate to kill someone if ever the case that they get stuck into a situation where they need to kill a fellow human being. So that they won't hesitate to kill and not to jeopardize their own well being and safety.

Of course, people would say that what's the use of you and the people or the beast companions that you assigned to protect them?

Even so, that doesn't mean that they would always be there to protect them.

After all, no one could fight an army alone especially if they are as strong as you are.

So for Leo, it's better that they get used to killing people rather than getting themselves killed in the future in the absence of "his" protection.

"It's not like this group are good people anyway" Leo mumbled as he also jumped off the building when he saw that David and Zabu had already captured all of them without any mishaps happening.

"Boss! We're almost there!" a man said while holding a binocular in his hand while leaning half of his body outside the window of the vehicle he's on and there are also another three modified armored vehicles following just behind them.

The person immediately popped back inside and looked at the scary looking man beside him and said with a bit of worry in his voice.

"But what are we gonna do about the people who arrived there before us, boss?"

"We kill them then, we discovered that place first and didn't you say that they arrived in some kind of an aircraft?"

"Yes, our scouts said that and at the same time they are also heavily armed like us"

"Don't worry about it because we'll just blast them to pieces and we'll take their women and their equipment" the man laughed evilly as glint of lust and greed flashed on his eyes while one of his hands is patting on a weapon lying quietly on his lap.

The M41 is a rocket launcher fires a M19 102mm high-explosive shaped charge missiles. The weapon uses a unique system for loading and firing: rather than using a traditional magazine or single-shot system, it is fed by a pair of detachable barrels, each of which holds a single rocket. When one of the rockets is fired, the other is cycled into place; when both have been fired, the operator removes the barrel unit and inserts another. This allows the operator to quickly reload while in combat and greatly reduces the weight he carries without throwing the weapon away.

When Leo sees this person's weapon then he would immediately recognized this right away as some of his men are also using this kind of weapon

But while these are scheming on how to kill Leo's group, what they didn't notice was two shadows falling from the sky and heading towards them!

One of them landed on the hood of the first car at the front of the convoy while the other one landed on top of the second vehicle behind the first one.

The boss and the others who are riding on the third and fourth cars immediately came out of their vehicles with weapons in hand as they stared at the scene in front of them with disbelieving expressions on their faces.

"Bastards!" their boss cursed angrily as he carried his [M41 SSR] and put it over his right shoulder and pressed the trigger as 102mm high-explosive shaped charge missiles immediately flew out of its barrel as it headed towards one of the attackers.

Their boss didn't even care if his men in the first and second cars are still alive or not, he just pulled the trigger in rage!

"Get out of the way!" someone yelled as his men in front of him immediately jumped off to the sides and took cover!

But the two attackers immediately jumped to the nearest roadside to dodge and the projectile landed on the middle of the wreckage and caused an explosion and two cars is caught in the blast radius and causing the first car getting caught on fire while the second half got its half blasted into pieces as piercing screams of pain and terror blared coming from the two cars!

"Ahh! It hurts! One of my legs is r-ruined!"

"Helps us! Please! It burns!"

"C-curse you, Arnold! I hope you burn in hell you bastard!"
