Stronghold In The Apocalypse 144 It's Time

Leo stood in front of the Mansion as he watch the kids play for a while with Bacon and Ham when he suddenly had an absurd thought, 'They won't get flattened to death, right?'

But then his worries was washed away when he saw Aria walking out from a corner of a nearby Residential Building with a snack in her hand that she is munching on and when she saw him, she waved towards him and yelled, "Don't worry! I'll watch over the kids!" she said like she already knew what's her brother's worries are.

Leo then just smiled at her before walking towards the front door as he passed through the small steps like stairs and just as he opened the door, two silhouettes suddenly pounced towards him!

Leo wasn't even startled as he already had a guess of who they are as the two silhouettes are actually Amanda and Michelle as they hugged him from both sides while giggling excitedly.

"You ladies sure looks happy" Leo smiled as he hugged them back and then he saw Angie and Rachel watching them from the kitchen with happiness plastered on their faces.

""It's because we're pregnant! You're gonna be a dad soon!"" Both ladies said at the same time as happiness beamed from their faces.

"Really? Oh my god! You two are not messing with me are you!?" Leo shouted happily as he tried to sound surprised and excited as he tried to be as ignorant as possible. He even thought that he would probably get an Oscar with how amazing his act was that he would probably even started believing in it if he was looking at it from a different perspective.

"No, we're not. Look! This is our pregnancy results!" Michelle said as she handed both of their pregnancy results to Leo.

Leo then took the two pregnancy test from her hands and looked at it. He saw two lines on both results indicating that it was positive that the two ladies are pregnant.

"Yep! Now, I believe you two" Leo had a satisfied grin on his when he looked at the results and at the same time, he was feeling a bit bitter as he actually didn't expect that he would become a father from such a young age.

'My sperm cells must really be outstanding and powerful that I still managed to impregnate both of them even when they were using pregnancy pills' Leo thought laughingly to himself.

Leo didn't say anything and he suddenly hugged the two ladies and took a couple of steps forward and happily spun them around for at least a few seconds before coming to a halt and said…

"So~ what's for lunch? I'm famish!" he said foolishly as the two ladies gave him a good pinch on his waist.

" Jess! Let me ride it too!" Flash ran beside Ham while yelling excitedly towards Jess who is riding on top of the mount.

"No! Go ride Mr. Black instead!" Jess yelled back with a frown on her cute face.

When Flash heard her, he subconsciously glanced at the side of the road and saw the sulking Andy with a bruised face with arms crossed which made Flash shiver as he remembered the scene where Andy tried to ride Black even when they were warned not to and got himself slapped on the face with Black's tail.

"No way! I don't want to end up like Andy! I'll give you two of my lollipops if you switch with me!" Flash offered her a deal that she wouldn't be able to resist!

"Five! Then I'll let you ride Sir Ham!" Jess counter offered as a glint flashed in her eyes.

"No freaking way!" Flash immediately rejected with an indignant face and Aria and some adults watching them from the side just shook their heads when they saw these two kids bargaining with each other like shrewd merchants especially Jess who is clearly trying to take advantage of the situation to get more lollipops from Flash!

Flash is still naive and doesn't know that he is being taken advantage of Jess who is clearly a bit matured in thinking than Flash even though she was the younger one among the two!

"Four Lollipops!" Jess said humming happily as she would soon achieve her goal!

Flash gritted his teeth and reluctantly said, "Three! That's it, I won't go any higher than that Jess!"

"Deal!" Jess immediately agreed as she gestured towards Aria who is soon gonna be her aunt!

Aria helplessly shook her head as he leapt beside Ham and gestured for Jess to jump towards her arms.

When she was finally back on the ground, Jess happily skipped towards Flash and stretch her hand towards him.

Flash reluctantly fished out three lollipops from his breast pocket and put it on Jess outstretch hand while saying, "My candies~"

He was a bit sad but when he remembered that it is finally his turn to ride Ham. He immediately forgot that he lost three of his treasures to Jess and outstretch his arms towards Aria who immediately picked him up and helped him sit on the saddle.

"Let's go! Charge! Let's go kill zombies!" Flash was yelling like an idiot full of excitement on top of the Dual Horned Boar named, Ham.

"Mr. Ham! Why aren't you moving?" Flash said with confused eyes as he had even did what Jess and the others to make them move forward earlier.

"Mr. Ham!" Flash is wiggling frantically on top of the boar as he felt like the boar is doing it on purpose.

Ham just snorted and even dropped his belly on the ground and laid there with his legs spread outwards.

Leo who's sweating a bit is watching the kids playing around as he also observe the survivors living here from the window of his bedroom with his two beautiful women sleeping on their huge bed as he just shook his head and mumbled helplessly, "Were kids always this brave? This kid is already lucky enough that Ham didn't flung him away with how he's acting right now"

"Now that I think about it. Jess and the others rest day is actually today, huh" Leo said surprised when he realized that Jess is actually the youngest among the people learning magic at the Tower.

Leo then turned around as he walked towards the edge of the bed and gave Amanda and Michelle a kiss in their foreheads before he [Ghost Step] and appeared in front of the kids and told them that playtime is over.

An hour later.

Leo is standing on top of a tall tree as he surveyed his surroundings and the longer he observes, the more mesmerized he is towards the greenery around him, "Wow, just a couple of months has passed but the forest is slowly getting larger and larger" he said as he even saw a nearby village is now within the forest like an Elven Village in the movies and webnovels, a village surrounded by nature itself.

"I don't know if its actually a good thing that the Apocalypse happened but at least global warming is now gone with how quick a forest expands its reach" Leo said and then he jumped from the top of the tree as he landed on the ground beside the road and creating a small pit below his feet

Leo then smiled as he crack his knuckles and his stretch his neck and the moment he said those words, a loud rumbling sounded behind him as an armada of battle tanks headed towards his direction from Three "Merkava Mark 4" of Israel, Three "T-14 Armata" of Russia to Five "The Challenger 2" Battle Tank of the once glorious British Army followed by Five HUMVEEs and Five Foxhound LPPV's and another twelve military cargo trucks following behind the rest as ten of the trucks each carried twelve armed soldiers with half of them veterans already and the rest were the recent graduates just before the zombie horde a few days ago.

*Vroom* *Vroom* *Vroom* *Vroom* *Vroom* *Tadadada* *Tadadada* *Tadadada*

And there is even three Black Hawk helicopters roaming the skies above them.

"Well then, its time for some conquering!"

Leo hollered as he jumped on top of Merkava Mark 4 battle tank.
