That person's eyes glanced down towards his neck where a huge sword was resting on his right shoulder with its blade just enough to touch his neck skin.

"Why are you following me?" Leo coldly said, not bothering about the multiple eyes watching them.

"I-I wasn't following you. I'm just going the same way like you do" the man hurriedly said while his eyes darted around, clearly feeling nervous at the moment.

"Do you think I'm an idiot?" Leo coldly said as he pressed the blade of his sword harder on the man's neck causing blood to trickle down from his neck.

Suddenly!

Hurried but orderly footsteps rang behind them but Leo wasn't bothered at what's happening behind him. He just put all of his focused on the person before him as his killing intent started soaring from his body.

The fearful expression of the man was suddenly replaced by an ugly cold grin on his face as he said coldly to Leo, "The guards are here. I suggest you put down your weapon before something bad happens to you"

"Ohh~ I wouldn't worry about me but instead" Leo stopped midway…

"You should worry about yourself!" then he yelled ferociously and pulled his greatsword from his back and swung it immediately towards the man's head!

Swoosh!

"Halt!" someone angrily shouted behind them, trying to stop Leo.

The man still had that cold grin on his face and when the blade's sword was just about two inches away from his head, he suddenly step backward as the tip of Leo's sword just brush passed the tip of his nose.

Leo's wasn't even surprised in the slightest that the man was able to dodge his attack. It instead made him more serious but just as Leo was about to attack the man the second time.

The said person immediately turned around as he ran, immediately fleeing from the scene. His speed was already beyond human limits.
Leo didn't give chased but his face turned darker as he glared at the direction where the man disappeared from while contemplating something in his mind.

'You can run but I'll still find you' Leo thought menacingly as he glanced at the map interface at the corner of his eyes with his attention directed at continuously moving red dot on the map that is already outside the galvanized wall of the camp.

"You bast- Ahh!" the hurried footsteps behind him stopped but when someone wanted to curse at Leo, the person suddenly yelp in pain because a middle-aged man with a rough looking face like that of a gangster punched the guy's head causing the person to bite his tongue as he started rolling on the ground in pain while covering his mouth.

There are currently another eight more people behind the middle aged guy, all of them differed in age and they looked at their leader's back with confused expressions on their faces as they didn't why their squad leader did that but the next scene immediately answered it all.

"Sir! I'm Squad Leader Dean! I apologized for my men's rude behavior towards you!" Squad Leader Dean immediately stood erect as he gave a respectful salute with his right fist resting on his left chest towards Leo and his men behind him immediately followed suit after blanking out for a second even the guy that was rolling on the ground earlier immediately stood up and did the same thing.

""Sir!""

The people watching the scene unfolding before them was suddenly dumbfounded as they didn't expect that the person that they were gloating at his misfortune earlier was actually someone of status around here.

Well, no one can blame them.

After all, they all thought that Leo was just new guy and didn't know the rules around here that forbids people from brandishing their weapons in public.

And this kind of scene was not already new to them as there would still people who thinks they something and would break the rules. Some would get apprehended and thrown to prison and there also people who are too overconfident about themselves and try to fight the guards and in the end, they would be immediately shot to death on the streets as they laid there in their own pool of blood filled with regrets.

And the moment Dean and his squad got near to the scene, the first thing he noticed was that huge sword on Leo's hand. It is a very familiar weapon for him especially with its design and there is only one person he knows who wields that kind of weapon around here.

It is their Leader, Leo.

The reason he can recognized it was because he is one of the few people who can enter the Stronghold and he had already seen it countless of times whenever they watch Leo practice on the training ground.

A few moments later.

Leo turned around and returned their salute before he said, "Tell the people guarding the gate to not let anyone out until further orders!"

"And tell the others to be high on alert and capture anyone who's acting suspicious!"

"Yes sir!" Dean saluted and turned back to his men and yelled, "You, you and you! Split up and tell the other squads about what happened here! While the rest follow me!"

After that, they immediately broke off into two groups and went their separate ways.

Leo then turned towards the spectating crowd and showed them a harmless look and said, "Don't mind what happened here and just continue to what you guys are doing earlier, okay?"

No one uttered a single word as they just nodded towards him. Leo immediately took off from the scene as headed towards the wall.

The crowd just looked at his disappearing silhouette with dumbfounded and moments later, they broke off into intense discussion.

"Wow! Just who is that guy!?"

"He must really have a high status around here with how respectful Old Dean looks earlier!"

"You can say that! He looks really dashing earlier! I wish I could become his woman and then I wouldn't need to worry about work and food!"

"I want to have his child!"

"Keep dreaming!"

"Having a dream is better than loafing around!"

"Mom! I want to be like him someday!"

"Yes dear"

"..."

Leo didn't know that a lot of women wanted to have his child and if ever he found about it. He probably wouldn't mind impregnating two or three of them. Well, we all don't know.

At the other side of the camp.

Leo was already near the wall and while running, he kept glancing at the interface of map and felt confused of why the the man stopped just two miles away from here and hadn't moved from his spot since.

Leo gathered strength on his legs and jumped over the wall and when he landed on the other side of wall. He immediately increased in speed as headed towards the nearby mountains and the guards near the wall just look on with disbelieving look on their faces that they even forgot to perform their duties but by the time they came to, Leo already disappeared from their sights. The two guards just looked at each other and mutually agreed in their hearts that they didn't see anything at all.

There is one thing that really intrigued Leo this time..because he saw something interesting above that man's head earlier and those are floating questions mark which he would only see above or beside a monster or a zombie. Anything! Except for humans and that person earlier was clearly a human and this really intrigues him a lot of why he was the only exception among the survivors that he had passed by earlier.

'I will find out about it soon and when I catch that guy. I will make him spill all of his secrets!' Leo thought as he smiled coldly.

Leo was running through the highway as he would passed a few houses and the more he was further away from the city. The houses got fewer and fewer in numbers until he turned into a nearby dirt road as headed deep into the meadows.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Swoosh!

His destination..towards the nearby mountains.
