Stronghold In The Apocalypse 11 Rescue

A gunshot sounded as a headless zombie fell on the ground.

"Nice shot!" Leo gave a thumbs up at Michelle who's are trembling and walked out of the elevator and looked left and right and saw that 3 Zombies are headed towards their direction.

"Where to?" Leo looked at Michelle who finally calmed down.

Michelle said: "Left"

"Alright, I'll lead the way so just tell me if were there" Leo said as he walked in front as he smashed the heads of 2 Zombies and held the neck of the other one as he then looked at Michelle.

"Shoot it" Leo said.

Bang!~

Michelle didn't even hesitate to shoot then took a deep breathe after that.

"Good" Leo complimented as they continued.

In a few moments, they finally reached Michelle's place.

"Mom! Dad!" Michelle yelled while banging on the door.

"Hey, if you keep doing that, you will attract more Zombies here" Leo said softly as he also understands Michelle's worries.

"So-sorry" Michelle said embarrass as she looked down.

Then an aged low voice of a woman was heard from the other side of the door.

"Michelle, is that you?"

"Yes mom! It's me!" Michelle said joyful.

Click~ Clack~

The locks on door sounded as the door then opened slowly.

Then a man and a woman who's probably around 50's came out as they beamed smiling as they hastily hug Michelle while crying.

Leo just looked on and also thought "I wonder how my parent's and sister are doing right now".

"W-who's this friend of yours?" Only then did the old couple noticed that person dressed in some kind of Armor is with them.

"Ahh..he's.. you actually haven't told me your name yet" Michelle wanted to introduce him but she only realized now that she really doesn't know his name.

"Ohh right, I'm Leo, Nice to meet you Michelle's parent's" Leo disabled his helmet as he scratched the back of his head.

"Yes, his Leo. He saved both me and Amanda, Yes! Hurry Mom, Dad! We need to go! Amanda is still downstairs" Michelle hastily yelled when she remembered that they actually left Amanda.

"Right, just a sec." the three hastily went inside while Leo just stayed outside keeping a lookout.

Only a few moments passed, Michelle and her parents exited as all of them wore bulging backpacks.

"Let's go! We'll talk more later when we arrived at a safe place" Leo hastily told them as he was also worried about Amanda below and immediately took huge strides as he walked at the front while Michelle is at the back holding her gun and her parents are in between them.

Luckily, they hadn't met any Zombies along the way and finally reached the ground floor.

Bang! ~ Bang! ~ Bang! ~

Just as the elevator opened, Leo heard banging sounds coming from the car and even heard Amanda's muffled cry.

Leo worried, made a dash and saw that Michelle's car was surrounded by Zombies who's banging at the car trying to get Amanda as she can also be seen inside holding her cry and she finally saw Leo coming out of the building. It felt like she saw her savior and finally burst into tears.

When Leo saw Amanda crying due to fear, he boiled from anger as he uprooted another street light pole and charged at them, skewering and smashing them.

Michelle also caught up with her parents following behind her and she saw what's happening, she also started shooting at the Zombies and probably because she finally got used to killing them, she would get close enough before shooting them in their heads. After all, she wasn't an experienced shooter and only handled a gun just moments ago.

After a few seconds, they finally killed all of them with Leo's Armor covered in blood and the good thing is the Armor has a function that would automatically clean itself so the blood on Armor magically disappeared.

Leo disabled his Armor when he saw that the car opened and Amanda hurriedly got out and ran towards his direction. Leo smiled and opened his arms wide expecting a hug but...Amanda went past him and instead hugged Michelle sobbing.

Leo stood there with an awkward post with the edge of his lips twitching as he thought "Maybe, I was expecting to much, ha..ha..."

After Amanda finally stopped sobbing, all of them finally boarded the car and headed towards Amanda's place.

While they were on the road, Leo wasn't using his Armor and instead kept a looked eye around them using the system map, also confirming if Amanda's relatives and his parents are safe.

(Note: System Map is a cheat, like a google map)

"Stop! Stop! Stop!" Leo yelled while banging the top of the car.

The car came to a quick halt and Leo immediately got down wearing his Armor.

"Where are you going young man?" yelled Michelle's father as he also got down from the car and followed him while the rest instead stayed in the car. Even though Michelle's parents thought it was weird first for someone wearing a weird futuristic Armor like him when they first saw him but when they heard the story of him saving them from a throng of Zombies. Only then they both his wife and him realized that the Armor he's wearing must be special.

"I'm going to that Gun Store Mr.?" Leo stopped and pointed at a Gun Store they passed by earlier just 15 or so meters away from the car.

"Right, you still don't know our names yet because we were rushing earlier, just call me Tom and my wife is Angie" Tom said.

Then both of them went inside Store as Leo broke the door.

"Just take a single gun with sufficient bullets Tom because we won't need them anymore tomorrow" Leo said to Tom when he saw him taking a bag while putting different kinds of firearms.

"Why? The more the better, right?" Tom replied confused.

"Just believe me sir, we won't be able to use them sooner or later. Just take a lot of bullets instead" Leo casually said not bothering to explain.

Tom still looked at him confused but he still followed what Leo said and left the guns and instead bagged multiple bullet box, till the bag became full. Leo also did the same but put all of it inside his Inventory.

After few moments later.

"Let's go Mr. Tom" Leo said as armed himself with two AR-15 on both hands.

"Alright, the girls must be worried by now" Tom said armed with an AKM on his hand.

But just at they exited the Store, they felt the ground shook a bit and saw something which amazed both of them.

"Damn, is that a freaking Stryker!?"
