“You might scare girls with your appearance. Maybe, you can even scare someone to death if you’re lucky. But your tactics won’t work on me.” Ye Shaoyang smiled and walked confidently toward her.

The female spirit felt shocked; why was this kid not afraid of her? Not only did he not run, he actually walked toward her. This sight angered her, so the female spirit let out a shriek and leaped toward Ye Shaoyang. Unfazed, Ye Shaoyang reached for some copper beads from his belt, which he threw at the female spirit. Immediately, he shot down the female spirit, and she crashed on the floor. She let out cries of pain, as the struck areas emitted white fumes. Now, the female spirit realized that this person was not easy to handle. She saw the closest exit, a window, and swiftly shot in that direction.

“You’re gonna run away after you tried to scare me?” Ye Shaoyang reached for some more copper beads and threw them. He struck the female spirit down. He quickly approached it, as he held his wooden sword and put it right beneath the spirit’s neck. With one hand on his waist, he asked in a cocky tone, “Do you still want to continue?”

The female spirit laid on the floor, as it trembled in fear.

Since her true form had been revealed, the control she exerted on the door through her cultivation was also lost. Xie Yuqing, still traumatized, stood outside the door and peeped in. Ye Shaoyang looked at the female spirit and asked in a cold manner, “Where did you come from? And why did you attack me? Tell me the truth, or I, a Heavenly Master, will make sure you suffer.”

It flipped, swiped the wooden sword away, and appeared above the female spirit. Before Ye Shaoyang could even react to this situation, that thing had already struck the female spirit’s Gui Men point. The female spirit let out a scream that slowly faded away, as her body became countless wisps of primordial spirit.

That thing stood up and turned to give Ye Shaoyang a cold and hateful stare. After that, it shot out the window and disappeared. Due to the small size of the window, Ye Shaoyang could not catch up to it. He stood still, his expression stern. He realized the seriousness of this incident. As the wisps of primordial spirit dispersed from the room, he let out a sigh. Xie Yuqing came to her senses and quickly ran toward Ye Shaoyang. Ye Shaoyang took another sip of water and continued, “At the same time, they would find thirty-three kids of the same age, put them into a big mortar, and mash them up with a big pestle. Then, they place the end product in a large vessel, together with the skin of the special child. Next, they use a special technique to seal up the vessel and wait for 49 days. After that, they take out the skin and stuff in Cuscuta.
