Upon exiting the house, Xiao Ma suggested they grab a car to the hospital but Ye Shaoyang held back the plan, saying he wanted to check his balance on his account at the bank.

“What if there were some technical issues with the bank, and I didn't receive the money?” Ye Shaoyang felt worried since Zhuang Yuning had informed him that the money was transferred into his bank account. He was always concerned about his money.

Looking around the room, Ye Shaoyang found that the room was fully furnished like a luxurious room in a hotel. Zhou Jingru must have spent a lot on this. He sat on the leather couches. What a comfortable couch! He looked up and asked Teng Yongqing, “What are your plans?”

“I plan to head back to Luo Jia Sect and become a monk.”

Ye Shaoyang and Xiao Ma exchanged glances before he asked Teng Yongqing, “Dude, are you serious? Becoming a monk?”

Ye Shaoyang smiled and said nothing, waiting for him to continue.

“But, if I stepped in your shoes, I would agree with your decision; this question has confused me since I woke up. I think I will ponder this question when I am back at Luo Jia Sect. I believe I will return with a stronger Dao heart after I have thought through this matter.”

Ye Shaoyang gave a nod of approval when he heard the last sentence.

Teng Yongqing continued, “My master has his ways of solving a person's confusion. Heavenly Master Ye, if you meet any problem in the future, you can meet my master in Luo Jia Sect. I am sure he will enlighten you.”

Ye Shaoyang replied with a smile, “Thanks. You're so kind. But I guess I am the only one who can solve my problems.”

Teng Yongqing nodded and said nothing.

He decided he would leave for Luo Jia Sect today, so Teng Yongqing invited everyone for lunch. So, Ye Shaoyang helped him call their group to a restaurant near the hospital. Everyone arrived before noon.

This was the first gathering after the battle with Madam Chee. Everyone was here except Tan Xiaohui. None of them mentioned her name as though they had a tacit understanding, but they all sighed quietly in their hearts.

Teng Yongqing poured each of them a glass of wine. After a toast, he drank the entire cup. This time, he drank it on his own accord.

Ye Shaoyang stared at him, wide-eyed, “Are you addicted to alcohol since your last drinking? You are drinking even without someone urging you?”

“One last time. I will stop after I become a monk.”

Ye Shaoyang recalled the Living Fiend, “I would like to meet him again someday. I hope to discuss something with him.”

Old Guo nodded, “I know where he stays. I can bring you there after lunch.”

“Not today. I am busy today.”

Everyone was a little shocked when they heard that Ye Shaoyang was busy. Before Ye Shaoyang could answer, Xiao Ma, who was over-excited, announced that Ye Shaoyang had promised to become Zhuang Yuning's personal security. He exaggerated the way Zhuang Yuning had begged for Ye Shaoyang to stay at her place as her personal security and how she had increased the pay. Surely enough, he took no notice of the jealous faces of the two pretty ladies.

After he finished his words, Xie Yuqing forced a smile toward Ye Shaoyang, “Whoa, a date with a pretty lady, a famous celebrity. Grab the chance well. Maybe she will think of marrying you after you help her. Haha.”
