“Where did she go?” Xiao Ma asked.

“She got pulled back.”

“By who? And where?”

Ye Shaoyang did not answer him. However, he had some possible answers in mind already.

Ye Shaoyang held the Qixing Dragon Sword and continued deeper into the garden. Xiao Ma, who trailed behind them as the last person, smacked his head and asked, “That girl, I mean spirit, seemed like a student. Do you think she could be Xiaohui's cousin?”

Ye Shaoyang had thought of that too, right as she was pulled away.

Xiao Ma continued, “Too bad we didn't get a good look at her face. Otherwise, we could have described it to Xiaohui.”

Ye Shaoyang did not feel any regret though. Since this was the last formation, everything would be here, Maybe I'll find all the answers here soon.

As he thought of this, he became more excited and walked faster.

After a few minutes, the three of them walked out from the sakura garden. A small and flat field laid between them and a hill. Right in the middle of the field stood a big and tall tomb that was surrounded by cement walls. At the front of the tomb was a large slab of marble that had its owner's name. It was someone called Ma Duyuan.

“This is probably one of the Ma Family members. However, I don't know which one this guy is,” Old Guo said as he walked around the tomb. Suddenly, Old Guo let out a hmmm and said, “Little junior brother, come and see this!”

Ye Shaoyang quickly walked around and saw a well behind the tomb. The well had an octagonal opening, and water filled it to the brim.

“The water is really clear,” Xiao Ma approached the water and reached out to touch it.

Ye Shaoyang immediately pulled him away and gave him a look, “Are you trying to die? That's Madam Chee down there!”

“What!?” Xiao Ma and Old Guo were both shocked. They took a few steps back and looked at Ye Shaoyang.

Ye Shaoyang did not care about their reactions. He walked toward the well and looked into it. The well seemed to be two to three meters deep. At the bottom, there seemed to be a space, but something blocking his view… there's a… tree underneath?

Ye Shaoyang used his Gang Qi to probe around the well. He only detected a hint of Yin Qi, and he did not find any spirit Qi or demon Qi, but… why is there a hint of undead Qi?

Old Guo also came to criticize Xiao Ma.

Ye Shaoyang stuck his finger on some of the ash and tasted it. Xiao Ma, who was beside him, saw this action and asked, “What's the taste?”

Ye Shaoyang looked at Old Guo and said, “Fleshy Undead.”

“Fleshy?” Xiao Ma was stunned, “You can taste meat from that?”

Ye Shaoyang gave him a stern look and said, “Can you stop joking around! I'm being serious here!”

Xiao Ma rolled his eyes and kept quiet.

Old Guo became concerned when he heard the name 'Fleshy Undead'. Then he said, “I guess the formation in the garden supplies energy to this well?”

Ye Shaoyang nodded.

After some thinking, he walked closer to the small hill. He examined it a bit and found a path that leads to a standing area. Then he rolled up his sleeve and began to climb up.
