Ye Shaoyang ordered the two to stop. Then, he jumped into the hole. He examined the skeleton and saw that it was similar to a normal one, except for the fingers on both hands. The thumb and little finger were together, while the ring finger was slightly raised up.

“What is going on?” Xiao Ma scratched his head and asked, “Was this person gay?”

“Cut the crap,” Ye Shaoyang thought for a while and said, “If I'm not wrong, this is some kind of witchery. This hand seal is to send out its energy….” Ye Shaoyang looked up at the big tree and seemed to think of something. Then, he suddenly took out a coin and cut away the red strings on the skeleton. The beads struck something invisible, which emitted a white smoke. However, nothing appeared.

Ye Shaoyang was surprised, so he quickly reacted and tossed out eight ancient copper coins. The coins surrounded something and took the form of a plum blossom. Then, Ye Shaoyang mumbled a chant, and green flames ignited from the coins.

Plum Blossom Fire Technique. This technique employed the Yin Qi in the vicinity to light up spirit fires, forming a cage capable of trapping spirits. Even though it was stated that this technique could trap all spirits, it would all still dependent on the skill and cultivation of the user. With Ye Shaoyang's cultivation, he could trap any spirits below the level of a supreme spirit.

Xiao Ma turned from the mirror to look at the fire cage, but he still could not see anyone. He looked back into the mirror and was able to see the girl. Goosebumps ran up Xiao Ma's back, as he asked, “What's going on?”

“Part of her spirit has been locked away, resulting in this scene.”

After saying that, Ye Shaoyang took out some cinnabar ink and drew the character Chi on the mirror. Then, he formed a hand seal and pressed his thumb against the character. The character glowed, entered the mirror, and headed toward the girl. As soon as the character came into contact with the girl, red lights beamed out. When Ye Shaoyang saw this, he stored away his mirror.

“What's wrong?” Xiao Ma looked at him and asked.

Ye Shaoyang did not reply him. Instead, he turned around. Xiao Ma also turned around and looked at the cage of fire. There she was, the girl was now visible.
