He took out two pieces of jade and handed one of them to Xiao Ma.

“Place it in your mouth.”

“What’s this?” Xiao Ma asked as he took it from Ye Shaoyang.

“This jade is consecrated, it can absorb Corpse Qi,” Ye Shaoyang explained. “If there’s really a dead body down there, it has most probably become a violent undead by now. Although the violent Qi has been carried away by the water, this is still an undead. You might breathe in a full lung of Corpse Qi, and that is enough to give you diarrhea for a whole month.”

Xiao Ma wiped the sweat from his forehead, “That’s not that bad, I’ll just think of it as a weight-loss session.”

He said that but still anxiously put the piece of jade into his mouth. Then, he stepped onto the shovel, applied force to it, and lifted the quartzite.

Beneath the quartzite was a hole filled with water. Through the crystal clear water, they could see the body of a naked woman lying in it.

The woman’s skin looked soft and flawless, and she was in great shape. Her face was covered by long hair.

While every guy at the scene had their eyes fixated on the naked woman, they were only fearful and anxious. They knew by now that the woman might look lively, but there was no way she could be alive!

Ye Shaoyang lifted the puddle of mud that blocked the water, and the water immediately ran into the drain. In a matter of minutes, the water in the hole was gone.

When the woman’s body was exposed to the air, black qi sprayed into the air from her mouth and nostrils. Ye Shaoyang instructed everyone to back off. Then, he drew a talisman paper and threw it into the hole. The talisman paper absorbed most of the Corpse Qi in the air, and the jade pieces in Ye Shaoyang and Xiao Ma’s mouths absorbed the rest of it.

Ye Shaoyang shook his head and reached out his hands to pull the woman’s hair away in an attempt to see her face. However, he realized her hair was all stuck to her nose and mouth. There was no way to pull the hair out.

“What… What is going on?” Xiao Ma held his breath in fear.
