Xiao Ma shook the bell, as he strolled along the country road. Suddenly, a silhouette of a hunchbacked old man drifted toward Xiao Ma. He had a face as pale as a white sheet of paper that completely lacked emotions. He stopped in front of Xiao Ma and asked while following him, “Are you here to take me away?”

“Let’s go, uncle. I can send you to your next life.” Xiao Ma knew that this old man was a spirit. By now, Xiao Ma had seen numerous spirits, so he had actually grown immune to spirits with such a normal face. Xiao Ma put his thumb up and pointed to his back, “Follow me closely; don’t get lost!”

The old spirit hesitated, “But I don’t want to….”

“You have to, even if you don’t want to!” Xiao Ma shook his bell hard. The old spirit sighed and reluctantly followed behind him. The girl spirit threw him a sweet smile as she approached him. Out of the blue, her head turned an impossible ninety degrees, as she stared at him with a smile on her face. It was a weird posture, which spooked Xiao Ma.

The girl spirit’s clothes fell off her body, which revealed her flawless fair skin. She said in a seductive voice, “Brother, how about you spare me from this, and I’ll repay you with my company?”

“Umm….” Xiao Ma’s eyes uncontrollably widened. He felt tempted and scanned over her flawless body. He stared at her perfectly fine waist and her busty ass for a good few minutes without uttering a word. The girl spirit ran out of patience, “Brother, satisfied with what you see? Do you want to come with me?”

Xiao Ma ignored her, as he continued to walk. He lustfully stared at her perfectly sexy back. He did not even bother to take his eyes away from her when some little mischievous spirits appeared and tried to scare him. Finally, the girl spirit grew mad at him, “Are you going to just keep staring or are you coming?!”

Xiao Ma smirked, “Well, you didn’t say that I must leave with you after seeing your body, did you? Since you want to show it off for free, why not?”

“You!” The girl spirit did not expect him to be such a jerk. She rolled her eyes up and slowly opened her mouth. She showed him the sharp fangs in her mouth. Blood oozed out from all over the orifices in her face.

This tactic indeed worked; her face instantly scared Xiao Ma. However, in reaction, he simply focused his eyes on her body instead of her face.

“Babe, I’ve seen enough of your back. Would you mind showing me your front?”

“Fine!” The girl spirit angrily turned her body around, and her front was an even more heavenly sight.

My god…. Xiao Ma stared at her two red cherries and did not blink even once. He gulped like a hungry animal, as this view bewildered him. Before he saw enough, the girl spirit suddenly raised her right hand and stabbed it into her ribs. She angrily yelled, “Look! I’ll let you look till you are satisfied!”

Her hand gripped a large chunk of the skin on her breast, and she tore it off right in front of him. Hot blood instantly splashed onto Xiao Ma’s face. He could feel the hot sensation of blood on his face. He attempted to wipe it off, but to his surprise, he found not even a drop of blood on his hand. It was merely an illusion.

The girl spirit went berserk, as she started to peel off her own skin, starting from her neck. Then, she pulled off both her breasts and threw them into Xiao Ma’s face.

Although Xiao Ma knew that this was an illusion, he still felt disgusted by the sight. As if that was not enough, the girl spirit suddenly bent over, and her face almost reached his. She slowly stuck her two fingers into her eye sockets and popped her eyeballs. Liquids of all colors instantly oozed out.

“Look, this is how a human eyeball looks like.” The girl spirit laughed as she stuffed the two eyeballs into her mouth. She chewed it like it was a chewing gum. A mix of liquids flowed out of her mouth and onto her jaws.

Xiao Ma almost peed himself; he could not take this anymore. He blamed Ye Shaoyang in his heart--- That fellow said that spirits would show me scary stuff to try and scare me off, but this isn’t even scary; this is downright disgusting!

Xiao Ma looked in another direction to avoid looking at the girl spirit. However, a slim man spirit drifted into his face and started to also take off his shirt. Then, the man spirit took out a knife out of nowhere and started to cut a hole in his chest. The man spirit proceeded to scratch his knife against his own ribs, which made annoyingly eerie sounds.

F*ck this. Each one is more disgusting than the other.

Xiao Ma was forced to look in another direction, and his eyes landed on a child spirit. The child spirit put his hand into his own throat and pulled out a maggot. He handed the maggot to Xiao Ma, “Want to eat some?”

“Eat your own mom!” Xiao Ma’s eyes were filled with tears, “I’d rather you show me something scary. Can you do a better job and stop being so disgusting?”

Xiao ma closed his eyes, but he could still see those scenes in his mind. To make matters much worse, the background was now completely dark, making the scene even more disgusting.

Now, a pregnant woman with her big belly appeared and filled up the last empty space around. She smiled, as she opened up her shirt and stabbed her two hands into her own stomach, splashing fresh blood everywhere!

Xiao Ma could already foresee what she would do next, and his stomach churned in protest. He suddenly recalled the book that Old Guo sold to him. There were many chants in the book, but which could stop this illusion?

No spirit tried to stop him anymore, as they had already witnessed what transpired just now. They quietly obliged and simply followed him in a long line.

Half an hour later, Xiao Ma had returned to the starting point. Ye Shaoyang followed the sound of the ringing bell and found him too. Ye Shaoyang noticed the long line behind Xiao Ma. There were at least fifty spirits behind him. Ye Shaoyang nodded in satisfaction, as he looked at the spirits entering the soul guiding path. He gently tapped Xiao Ma’s shoulders, “Good job, my friend. Now you can turn your head back.”
