Instead of meeting the man’s palm, Ye Shaoyang simply gripped it with two fingers and choked the man’s throat with his other hand.

The man’s mouth opened in reflex, and Ye Shaoyang swiftly threw the Lock of Ultimate Death into his mouth. Next, Ye Shaoyang covered the man’s mouth with his right hand that held a talisman paper. Ye Shaoyang then chanted out loud,

“O’Mighty heaven and earth, with the power of Yin Yang!”

A visible stream of purple gas floated up from the man’s face, but he quickly suppressed it. At the same time, he threw Ye Shaoyang an evil grin. “Holy mama! That was close!” Old Guo wiped away the cold sweat on his forehead. Then, he heard a noise, so he turned around. What he saw was a scene straight out of a horror movie.

The skin on the man’s forehead had cracked open like an egg. Soon, the crack extended from his forehead up till his jaw. Loud cracking noises followed, as the skull literally split into two halves. As black blood oozed out, a smaller head also popped up from within the skull.

At first glance, this head seemed human-like, with a pointed mouth. Sharp teeth neatly filled the mouth. As the mouth opened and closed, green, slimy liquid flowed down the teeth. The head twisted itself left and right, as it attempted to get out of the skull. Under the head, the creature had a body full of tentacles.

Before the group could take a good look at the creature, the head had got itself out of the skull. It broke the car window and jumped out of the car in an attempt to escape.

Ye Shaoyang was instantly freed from the man’s grip. He did not hesitate and opened his car door. With his Qixing Dragon Sword in hand, Ye Shaoyang chased after the creature.

“O' come the light of dusk, Heaven and Earth shall be rent asunder, following the order of Yin Yang, with the boundless power of the Dao!” As Ye Shaoyang chanted, he threw out his sword in the direction of the creature.

A purple light flashed by. The creature’s head was slashed into halves. It stopped moving, as it dropped to the ground.

Instead, a blurry shadow rose up from the spot and bolted away. Ye Shaoyang was too far away from it, and he had just thrown out his sword seconds ago. Without a weapon in his hands, Ye Shaoyang could only watch as the shadow escaped.

Ye Shaoyang had consumed a large quantity of his energy earlier. Now, he was totally exhausted. He fell to the ground in a sitting position, as he breathed at a fast pace. At this moment, he was out of breath.

Xiao Ma and Old Guo got out of the car to check on him.

“Holy sh*t! That b*tch almost choked me to death! She died twice, yet she could still choke my neck! That’s crazy!”

“Let me take a quick rest. I need to recover. You can do whatever you want as long as you don’t disturb me.” Ye Shaoyang sat on the ground with his legs crossed. Ye Shaoyang walked up to the creature’s body and examined it closely. It was a creature that looked like a jellyfish. It had a big, odd head that hundreds of tentacles supported. Moreover, the head consisted of a horrendous looking skull. It was definitely a creepy sight.

“So, is this thing dead?” Xiao Ma asked.
