Chapter 12          First Kiss 

After they waited for ten minutes, the pool of dead water started to bubble, and the water began to splash up. 

“It’s coming out; you guys better stay back!” Ye Shaoyang took two steps back and pulled out his jujube wood sword. Peach wood swords were used to kill spirits, while jujube wood swords were used to defeat demons and the undead. The wooden sword he possessed was also a special, crafted from a 33 year old jujube tree that lightning struck. The wood had great spirituality, so it became a powerful weapon to fight evil. 

Xiao Ma and the lady were very nervous, so they moved 20 meters away. Even though they wanted to back away further, they still stayed within a reasonable range of Ye Shaoyang. They did this because they were afraid of the possibility of other spirits, Their previous encounters had made their perspective of the world change, and now, they seemed to think that spirits were everywhere. 

With a loud bang, something came flying out the water. It landed flat on the ground, lying there and looking at them with murderous intent. The thing had pearly white skin, but it was severely bloated; its skin was stretched and ripped up in many places. Under its skin were squirming bumps, while its messy black hair moved around like a large group of snakes. Its face was even more abhorrent. One of its eyes were shriveled, while the other was the size of a table tennis ball. Both of its eyelids were gone, and all of the flesh and skin on its forehead had rotted away; only leaving behind a white skull ….

Terrifying was not the appropriate word to describe this scene. The lady had fainted without even letting out a scream. Fortunately for Xiao Ma, he had already seen a horrific spirit in the dorms. As such, he did not faint, so he was able to catch the lady. Both of them fell to the ground.

The drowned undead could not walk, so it crawled instead. Despite this, it slowly closed in on Ye Shaoyang. It had no legs, and there was a visible clean cut wound. It looked like someone had sawed off its legs. A thick steel chain was wrapped around its waist, and the other end was still in the pond. It used both its arms to support itself, as it gradually crawled toward Ye Shaoyang.

Ye Shaoyang did not move an inch. 

“Little Ye, are you afraid of it? Do something to it!”

The undead did not faze Ye Shaoyang. He had already grown accustomed to this kind of thing. Instead, he observed the chain around the corpses waist; he was able to feel a minute amount of sorcery from the chains. If his conjectures were correct, the same person must have made the clean cut wound and the chaining. Was it a someone with power? Why did this person not kill it?

Suddenly, Ye Shaoyang felt something cold and wet around his ankle. As he looked down, he saw hair that was trying to pull him down. Ye Shaoyang quickly used his wooden sword to chop off the hair that was pulling him. White smoke came out, and the corpse screamed in pain. Then, the corpse suddenly accelerated toward him and quickly grabbed his left foot, ready to bite down. Ye Shaoyang immediately pulled his leg up. Even though he got his leg out, the undead took his shoe. 

“You have a weird taste,” Ye Shaoyang shook his head, as he waved his sword and struck it. The corpse immediately let go of the shoe and used both of its rotten hands to catch the wooden sword. Both hands instantly began to burn and pop, while black fluid gushed out. The corpse opened its mouth in an attempt to yell, but it had no tongue. Instead, long white worms filled its mouth. Ye Shaoyang furrowed his brows in disgust when he saw its mouth. Although he was not scared, he was still grossed out. The pain and burning could not bother this undead at all, as it pulled the jujube wood sword even closer to herself. 

Its ability to withstand the power shocked Ye Shaoyang. It must have cultivated for at least a 100 years. At this moment, Ye Shaoyang muttered a chant and used his free hand to hit the face of the corpse. Unexpectedly, Ye Shaoyang lost his footing, as though something had pulled his leg to make him slip. When he looked down, he saw that the corpse was using its hair to pull on his legs again. Like a snake, the corpse slowly slid up to him. At the same time, more and more hairs extended toward him. A few seconds later, it had total control over him and was able to pull him toward itself. He was at the bottom, while the corpse was on top; they became closely stuck together. Its hair slowly wrapped him in a cocoon. Ye Shaoyang was in desperate straits.  

“F*ck! Is this corpse trying to rape Little Ye?” This sight before his eyes shocked Xiao Ma. He shouted at Ye Shaoyang, “Little Ye, hang in there man. You must protect your virginity from that thing. After you beat it, I’ll find you a girlfriend!”

Ye Shaoyang was already very angry, as he felt the slimy and sticky body of the corpse. The worse part was that the corpse's head was really close to his head. It opened its mouth, and the long white worms started to fall out of its mouth. Ye Shaoyang knew that the corpse was not trying to make out with him. In fact, it was trying to kill him. Moreover, if the worms took a bite of him, he would die.

I am unable to move. Even if I have the best abilities, I can’t use them without my hands, unless I … ah, whatever I’ll give away my first kiss! Ye Shaoyang bit his tongue without any hesitation and took the initiative to approach the corpse's mouth, shooting his blood into its mouth. The blood from the tongue had the best ability to expel evil. Additionally, Ye Shaoyang was a Daoist master, which made the power of his blood increase by threefolds. 

“Ah…” as though the corpse had swallowed something very poisonous, its body started to tremble. This sight stunned Xiao Ma, and he muttered, “Is she having an orgasm…?”

With a loud bang, Ye Shaoyang blew all the hair that trapped into pieces. Normally, he did not require the use of such a powerful incantation to destroy a drowned corpse. However, because that thing had taken his first kiss, he was greatly angered and wanted to totally annihilate it.

After the incantation, a green beam of light shot out from the wooden sword and pierced the throat of the drowned corpse. Then, Ye Shaoyang yelled, “Break!” With a big bang, the drowned corpse was blown into bits and pieces. Finally, it splat on the ground. 

Ye Shaoyang wiped his mouth and nodded his head, “That’s the destruction I want to see.”

After a long stare, Xiao Ma and the lady finally awoke from their shock and were able to think and process what had just happened. After they made sure that the corpse was gone, they walked down the small hill. Then, Xiao Ma gave a thumbs up and said, “You’re good Little Ye, able to kill such a powerful ghost. I thought you weren’t going to make it when it wrapped you up and was all over you. What did you do back then to push the thing up into the air?”

“Don’t ever ask me what just happened!” Ye Shaoyang gave him a stern look. That disgusting and embarrassing scene still replayed in his head, as it was probably one of the most painful memories in his life. 

Xiao Ma’s face became red, and his heart almost skipped a beat. Did the undead corpse … drown him?

Ye Shaoyang used up a lot of his power, as he had used such a fearsome incantation. So, Ye Shaoyang sat down and began to use Maoshan Sect’s special technique to recuperate. After going through the technique once, he felt better and was ready to go. He looked down and saw all the pieces of flesh that slowly melted into dark blood. Ye Shaoyang walked toward the steel chain and began to pull it up. After a few more meters of chain, the end came up. Ye Shaoyang took the chain and examined it closely. Finally, he came to a conclusion, “This chain has magic, a sorcerer made it ….” 

“Sorcerer? Are they able to hunt spirits too?” Xiao Ma asked, “Why did it only lock this thing up? Why didn’t this person kill it?”

Ye Shaoyang shook his head and stated, “Because this person never had the intention to kill it … they were trying to raise it.”
