Spider-Man: Duty and Loss Chapter 116: Where I'm at Right Now and Ultron

Hey guys so some things to discuss.

So I originally was going to release this chapter Monday...yes Monday. Was truly going to surprise you guys with two chapters one after the other. But then I got off work, came home to a house without internet (Damn Telstra) And when it came back up I just had no motivation to write.

I have literally had no motivation to right all week before today (Thursday) and even then I almost forced myself. I literally had 700 words of the chapter done last Sunday and only needed to do like 300 or 200 words to finish the chapter and just get it out, but I couldn't bring myself to do it.

Now why am I telling you this you may be wondering? I just wanted to let you guys know because whenever I see people asking me to go beyond Ultron it does make me happy, you know people wanting me to continue and everything. I also have a lot of ideas that I am thinking of using if I do go past Ultron as there is a lot I could do.

But in the end it comes back to the problem of motivation. Think of Ultron finish as a goal I have set myself. I have never finished a novel, and to finish at Ultron just leaves this arc and the Ultron movie till I'm finished. It gives me motivation that I'm so close to the end of the novel and have an end in sight.

Sure maybe I'll keep going after Ultron but for now it is a visible goal I really need to keep writing. I envision that if I went past Ultron I would at some point stop releasing and just leave the novel because I just couldn't keep making myself writing it.

I have ideas for other novels constantly flying around in my head and I am so tempted to write them, but I stop myself because I don't want to be one of those people who have like 8 novels, but leaves them all unfinished. The problem with this is all the other ideas I want to write makes me no want to write this or anything else I'm currently doing and makes it harder. (Yeah this is a funny conundrum I'm dealing with.)

So there is my explanation for why I want to finish at Ultron, take it or leave it. Try to convince me if you want, but I won't be changing my mind until I bloody well finish that arc.

Funnily enough after mentioning the problem of motivation I sat down today (Thursday) not wanting to write at all and suddenly churned out 3k words / 3 chapters as if it were nothing, my mind kept flowing and didn't stop.

Also during the small break where I had no motivation to actually write a chapter I sat down and did a few plot point that I will be going through in the next few chapters that makes writing them a bit easier, so funny that.

Finally with only 2 arcs left I have a question for you guys. After I finish the current arc which will sort of settle a lot of the harem situation and where Peter is at right at this moment.

Do you guys want me to stop writing, finish all of the Ultron arc, which I honestly have no clue how long that will be, then release it all at the same time .

Or.

Just continue the way I have been with chapter coming out as I do them.

Honestly doesn't change much for my writing speed and if I had to guess, it would take me probably a month maybe 2 to actually write the full Ultron arc before I would release it all. Could be longer with University starting up

PS. I don't know when I'll get next chapter out. Sort of want to go and write some Star Wars before Uni starts Monday.

PPS. Later when I finish this arc I will properly ask this question again and poll the results for an answer. Just want to know generally where it stands at this point.
