Hearing Jenny's words, Locke rolled his eyes at her.

“Well said, however, what you see are all illusions,” the brawny man responded thus.

Under his prompting, the two approached the edge of the plaza, where there was a defensive membrane. The man waved his hand forward, and the scenery in front of them became clearly visible.

The entire world was within their sight.

Locke spotted an odd place below, where there was a giant grinding mill only slightly shorter than the mountain beneath his feet, covering a far larger area than the mountains.

The dark-colored grinding mill rotated slowly, crushing the creatures underneath it.

These creatures were all Spiritual Beings.

The grinding mill was peculiar; wherever it crushed, the Spiritual Beings beneath couldn't help but let out a sharp cry, many yelling “I'm wrong” with voices that overlapped and carried far and wide.

This made it sound like the cries of ghosts and howls of wolves were filling Locke's ears.

It wasn't hard to see that there wasn't just one area with a giant grinding mill; these areas combined together to form the main body of this world, a sight that was quite spectacular when seen at a glance.

After a pause, the muscular man revealed his identity.

He also noticed that around the middle pond, there were patterns of chains, seemingly chains stacked up there, as if evolving from the surrounding mountains.

Previously, every chain that emerged from the giant vortex was likely originating from here.

“The wells ferry us Mill Masters, while the pond ferries those sinful spirits below, hence, this is the main ferry point connecting with the outside world, each area you saw earlier has a ferry point.”

Aside from going out to perform official duties, there is no way to return to your original dimension, that is the only thing.”

Seeing him hesitate, Wulei reluctantly informed him.
