Ivan saw clearly that the two were simply knocked back, indicating the enemy had held back and wasn't aiming to kill him; this brought him some relief.

Regardless, he couldn't dodge this attack; his only choice was to take it head-on.

Layer upon layer of Ant King Sky Shield stacked up.

Three layers of three-colored Solidification Magic shields intertwined,

standing before the oncoming surge of the Silver Moon Blade.

At that moment, the Ant King Sky Shield seemed to have met its nemesis, easily sliced through layer by layer. Ivan's expression grew more severe; he hadn't expected the Silver Moon Blade to be of the Space-type, its attacks exceptionally cunning.

“Boom.”

The Silver Moon Blade took advantage of the momentum and struck the three-colored witch shields.

Ivan only had time to amass space threads to wrap around, attempting to manipulate the surrounding spatial network to disrupt the Silver Moon Blade, while also increasing the output of his power to ensure the witch shields' increased stability.

Similarly, he was knocked back, flying out even faster.

“What's happening?”

“Could it be that the human sorcerer has angered the Mother God, thus inciting divine punishment?”

“Shut your mouths, all of you. Look at what you're saying. Is such foul language appropriate to be spoken here?” Kolebas came to her senses, stepped forward, and scolded the chattering matriarchs without a hint of politeness.

The reprimanded matriarchs fell silent.

The Forbidden Forest was guarded as a divine grant, filled with the radiance of the Mother God, and given the many miraculous sightings before, the matriarchs were truly not daring to act rashly.

“If I am not mistaken, that is our tribe's famous Holy Artifact–the Silver Moon Blade,” Kolebas said solemnly.

“But High Priest, shouldn't it be called the 'Dark Moon Blade'?”

In truth, she had seen it within the sacred temple's scriptures, and for some reason unknown, the Silver Moon Blade had faded into obscurity.

In contrast, the Dark Moon Blade had appeared twice alongside Holy Daughters of different eras, naturally its fame echoing through the Dark Night Elf tribe and enduring through time.

When Kolebas heard this voice, her expression changed slightly. She was about to say something when she saw the human sorcerer, who had been previously knocked away, approaching. Floating behind him was a moon blade almost the height of a man.

Her appearance dissolved the matriarchs' awkwardness.

For a time, both she and the High Priestess became the object of everyone's adoration, while Ivan, also followed by a moon blade, was selectively forgotten by the great matriarchs of various tribes.

Kolebas also chose to ignore what she saw.

After all, in the long history of the Dark Elf race, there had never been a man in control of a sacred artifact, let alone a foreign man–this was an unprecedented event. They needed some time to sort out the implications.

Ivan didn't mind.

“You two haven't been hurt, have you?”

“No, no.”
