Song Tian's Farm and His Daily Life 32 Fishing in the Lake

Since Su Lei moved to this area, whenever he came home from his work, he somehow feels more relaxed and enjoying his times more sitting in the balcony of his house while reading some news or doing his works.

Remembering all his activities while on the apartment and comparing it with his new home, Su Lei sighed, "Why I didn't move to this area earlier," he thought in his mind.

Su Wen looking at her dad staring outside, "Dad, what happens?" She asked.

Su Lei smiled, "Nothing, I just remember our previous apartment. I feel my mind at ease since we're moving here," he said as he patted his daughter's head.

Song Tian who drives the car, heard the conversation, and said, "Uncle Lei, don't say such an ambiguous thing. It feels like you're about to leave your last will to your daughter."

Su Lei eyes twitched, "How can you say that? I'm still young. It's mean I'm grateful to live in this area, there's no way my daughter interpret that as I'm about to passes away," he said.

"Really, Dad? I also think you're about to leave your last will," Su Wen exclaimed which makes Su Lei smiled bitterly and Song Tian laughed.

Several moments later, all of them arrived at the secret spot in the lake area.

Su Lei looking at the lake surrounded by forest and hill gasped. He also looked at the shore area which its land covered by the white sands, "What a great place," he said.

After three of them placing the portable folding chair, Song Tian went back to his car to get his coolbox, a small bucket and buy some large freshwater bait at Song Yi's shop.

Coming back to the spot, he saw Su Lei, and Su Wen already started fishing, he put the icebox near them and opened his fishing bag. Looking at the Basic Fishing Reel which he only uses on the river in his backyard, he attaches it to his Basic Fishing Rod.

Looking at his Basic Fishing Rod, Song Tian smiled, "Now I can finally cast long ones," he thought. He replaces the hook and put large freshwater bait on it.

Song Tian started to cast, and he saw his hooks already touching the surface of the water and started to sinking, "Nice, let's wait for a moment before reeling it slowly to the shore," he muttered.

Su Lei who just saw Song Tian cast shook his head, "Young man these days casting in such a long distance," he said.

Song Tian looked at Su Lei, sighed "Uncle, my cast distance has been calculated by using divinity technique from the hidden sect in the upper realm to located a dragon nest. How can you understand?" He said while shaking his head.

Su Lei eyes snorted, "Dragon Nest? At most you'll get catfish on this lake. Xiao Tian, you haven't even born yet when I caught a dragon on a northern lake. Let me show you how it's done," he said.

Two of them kept talking random stuff until they heard Su Wen calling both of them. Both of them turn around to look at Su Wen, and their jaw widened to see big eels hanging on her fishing lines.

Su Wen can remove the hook by herself after looking at Song Tian fishing several times in his backyard, put the eels on the bucket. Looking smugly at her father and Song Tian, "You guys haven't caught the fish yet?" She asked.

Su Lei coughed, "We're still discussing on best living bait for this lake," he said.

Song Tian nodded, "See, both of us haven't started reeling yet," he said.

Su Wen laughed as she can clearly hear that her father and Song Tian has only been talking nonsense, she put a new living bait on her hook and starting to cast.

30 minutes later, Su Wen has caught more than five fish already while Song Tian and Su Lei haven't caught anything.

Not long after, Su Lei feels his rod vibrating, he laughed as he started to reels his fishing rood, and after several minutes, he caught a big walleye. Su Lei looked at Song Tian, smirked.

Song Tian who's been waiting for a while looked at Su Lei who just caught a big fish and looking the old man smirked, his eyes twitched, "Xiao Yi, are you sure the bait is working?" He asked while slowly reeling.

Song Yi giggled, "Master, just be patient," she said.

After several minutes, Su Lei already caught his third fish, and Su Wen caught her ninth fish. Su Lei looked at Song Tian, sighed, "Xiao Tian, sometimes you just have to admit that you can't fish. If you admit it sincerely, this uncle will teach you the true way of the fish, it's a technique I got after my several years in seclusion," he said.

Su Lei kept bothering Song Tian for a while, but he startled after Song Tian suddenly stood up and reeling his fishing rod while leaning his body to the back as if he's there's a wall behind him, "Xiao Tian, stop acting. At most, it's only a regular fish," he said.

Song Tian retorted, "What regular fish can hold against my weight," he said as he kept reeling his fishing rod.

After several minutes, Song Tian feels the fish almost near the shore, "Hmm, let's try to use Sister Mia's technique," he thought as he started to imitate Mia Lawrence fishing posture.

Song Tian said, "Uncle, please move five meters away from me," he said, and it's making Su Lei puzzled with his action, but he started to walk away for five meters.

Su Wen face changed after she saw Song Tian posture as she remembers that's Mia Lawrence's technique, she quickly put her fishing rod and took out her phone to record it.

Song Tian started to swing down his fishing rod with one hand as if he was slashing with the blade and Su Lei startled by the action of the young man in front of him.

Not long after, Su Lei saw a massive fish flying above his head. Before the fish touch the ground, Song Tian quickly caught it.

Su Lei jaws widened looking at such a massive fish in the hand of Song Tian, "You...Isn't that siamese carp?" He asked while pointing his fingers at Song Tian's fish.

Song Tian hugging the fish with both of his hand and trying to remove the hook from the fish, "Its heavier than Xiao Xia," he thought as he didn't have any weighing scale to scale the weight of the fish he just caught.

Song Tian looked at Su Lei, smirked, "Uncle, this is only warm up. Don't be surprised when I caught another monster-sized fish, hehe," he said as he went to the shore after he removes the hook from the fish.

Su Lei eyes twitched, he looked at Song Tian who went to the shore, "Are you going to release it?" He asked.

Song Tian nodded, "Yes, this is only a warm up after all," he said, but he feels his heart bleeds because he saw the fish stats and he can sell it for $10.000 to Song Yi.

One hour later, Song Tian caught ten large fish and another two monster-sized fish, it was monster-sized ell, freshwater stingray and catfish. After that, Song Tian didn't get any monster-sized fish again. Looking at his quest progress, he's satisfied as he only needs to catch one monster-sized fish to complete his quest.

Su Lei also satisfied as he caught 15 large fish, "My skill didn't get rusty after all. But that brat always releases the monster fish he caught, what a waste," he sighed.

Song Tian looked at Su Wen, "How many fish you caught?" He asked.

Su Wen answered, "Last time I count, it was 20 fish. I didn't count anymore after that," she said.

Song Tian smiled bitterly as he heard what Su Wen said to him. All of them packed their stuff and left the lake.

After arriving at her home, Su Wen immediately sent four videos recorded on her phone to the [Springville] group and put the caption, "Song Tian attempt at Sister @MiaLawrence fishing technique." Not long after, Su Wen saw a lot of replies on the group.

MiaLawrence: "Wow, nice one. Song Tian had the potential to follow my path on the league, hehe."

After opened the door, he saw a woman with a long brown hair said, "Are you Song Tian?" She asked.

Song Tian nodded, but he's not sure who the young woman is, "Yes, how can I help you?" He asked.

The woman smiled, "Nice to meet you, I'm Elisa Delgado, we'll be a neighbor from now on," she said as she introduced herself.
