A hazy golden mist circled around Ye Fan’s fingertips as he cut into the mountain wall. Faint green lights appeared, and the handle of a blade was exposed. Grabbing onto it, he pulled it out, and green mist filled the air.

This was a green blade whose tip was incomparably sharp. A metallic trill came from it as it was pulled out, and green mist curled around it. It was less than half a foot long, just like a sparkling jadeite crystal, and bursts of cold air floated around it. 

Ye Fan knew that this was definitely not an ordinary blade. For it to be part of the demon clan’s Great Emperor’s possessions, it was definitely extraordinary.

“Haha…” Just at this moment, a fat Daoist with a face full of rosy light charged down upon a divine rainbow. Although his figure seemed very plump and fat, his movements were very agile, and he landed down noiselessly. He laughed, “My luck is pretty good. I didn’t think I’d actually be able to catch up to a spiritual weapon.” Saying this, reached out his large hand and grabbed the blade in Ye Fan’s hand. He showed a kind smiling expressions as he said, “Child, this is an evil weapon you aren’t able to suppress. Give it to this grandpa Daoist.”

Ye Fan really wanted to give this fatty’s rosy face a good punch. This fat Daoist truly was being too duplicitous, actually treating him like a child he could fool. He dodged back, but the fat Daoist was very nimble, and his large hand gently reached out and took the dagger. With a large smile, he said, “Child, I will remember this karma. We will definitely meet again, and this grandpa Daoist will definitely properly thank you then.”

After saying this, the fat Daoist uncaringly just left, soaring away upon a divine rainbow.

“You fucking fatass, it’ll be me who remembers you!” Ye Fan quietly cursed, waving his fist in the air. He really was unresigned to having a spiritual weapon that had landed within his hand be snatched away so quickly.

“Grandpa Daoist isn’t fat, just big.” This fat Daoist in his thirties had very keen ears. He had already flown over a hundred meters away, but he still heard Ye Fan’s quiet whisper. Turning his head back he brilliantly smiled, revealing a mouth full of white teeth, saying, “Until next time. Grandpa Daoist will give you good fortune at that time.”

Seeing that his senses were so keen, Ye Fan didn’t dare to utter another word. Rolling his eyes, he watched as the fat Daoist swaggered into the distance.

There truly were many spiritual weapons that had escaped from the Demon Emperor’s tomb, their multicolored lights rushing out in all directions. The majority of the cultivators were all using divine rainbows to chase after them, lighting up these primal ruins.

Just half an hour later, another divine rainbow charged towards where Ye Fan was, shocking him and causing him to hastily dodge. What seemed like a bunch of red fiery volcanic ash had been thrown over here and inserted itself into this stone mountain wall.

Ye Fan’s heart jumped. He felt truly lucky and a burst of cheerfulness rushed over him. Having just had the dagger extorted away by the fat Daoist, another weapon once more appeared before him. He carefully walked over to it, and looking around and seeing no one, a faint golden light once more appeared on his fingertips as he quickly opened up this stone wall, taking out a blood-colored pearl which released bursts of red clouds.

Immediately, a laugh came from around him, and the fat Daoist once more appeared upon a divine rainbow rushing towards here with a huge smile on his face from ear to ear.

“Fuck!” Ye Fan’s heart rained curses. He grabbed the red-clouded pearl and turned to run.

“As I thought, this poor Daoist really does have karma with this little friend. We actually met again so soon.” The fat Daoist heartily laughed in extreme happiness. Descending onto the ground, he easily blocked Ye Fan’s way, reaching out his fat hand and beamingly saying, “This treasure has an affinity with this poor Daoist. This little friend, lend it to me.”

“Respected Daoist, you’re bullying people too much!” Ye Fan was extremely angry. Holding on tightly to the red-clouded pearl, he once more tried to retreat, saying, “You already snatched away one of my spiritual weapons, so you definitely can’t have this one.”

“This pearl is actually a transformed demon. Little friend, you are unable to suppress is. This poor Daoist is doing this for your benefit, specifically coming to subdue it.” The fat Daoist beamed as he reached out his hand and took the red pearl.

Ye Fan was so angry his teeth hurt, saying, “Respected Daoist, didn’t you say that you would bring me good fortune the next time we met? Since you want to thank me, don’t snatch my things. You’ve already taken the dagger; just leave this pearl to me.”

“Your words are incorrect. Could it be that this little friend hasn’t understood yet?” The fat Daoist smiled, shamelessly boasting, “It’s precisely because of our first encounter that fate connected us this second time. I rushed over here in order to help you avoid the disaster that it is this demon in its transformed pearl form. This good karma between us allowed you to avoid a disaster!”

“*************!!!” Ye Fan truly wished to immediately beat this guy into a pulp and kick him so hard that there would be footmarks left on him, but when he considered the fat Daoist’s mysterious cultivation base, he had to restrain himself.

“Oh mighty gods, please let this poor Daoist once more meet again with this little friend!” The fat Daoist turned and once more uncaringly charged into the sky with a divine rainbow.

“That fucking fatass, I hope I never have to see you again!” Ye Fan felt extremely aggravated at this bad luck. This shameless Daoist truly was too immoral.

In the distance, the five great figures had once more fiercely attacked the Demon Emperor’s tomb with their powerful weapons, splitting open another corner of it, and causing even more of the multicolored lights that were spiritual weapons to once more charge out.

Although these five powerful members were unrivaled, it wasn’t possible for them to block all of them. Many weapons soared away and escaped. The surrounding cultivators all became joyful, once more using divine rainbows to intercept those multicolored lights. 

Ye Fan was gloomily sitting upon the stone mountain. Seeing the multicolored lights once more shoot out, he couldn’t hold back from saying to himself, “That fucking shameless evil fat Daoist. I hope he gets into a brawl with other people and they don’t even leave his robes behind for him!”

A purple light charged over from the distance, quickly drilling itself into the mountain wall. Ye Fan opened his eyes in disbelief; how could there be a third spiritual weapon appearing here?

“This place…” He faintly felt that something was off with this stone wall. Most likely there was some odd thing here; otherwise, it was an impossible coincidence that spiritual weapons would come here one after another to pierce into the mountain.

This time, Ye Fan didn’t rush in, but instead, he waited for quite a long time. Only when he saw that no one was coming from the surroundings did he slowly walk over. That fucking fatass better not appear this time…

Very carefully, he dug into the stone wall, and immediately rays of intoxicating purple light appeared, and even his palm seemed to turn into a sparkling amethyst. “We truly have Karma between us.” The fat Daoist face was red with joy, and in an earnest manner, and raising his fingers, he said, “Look, in just a short period of time we’ve already met three times! How could you say there’s no affinity; this is Heaven’s will!”

“Heaven’s will my ass!” Ye Fan lifted up his leg and was about to kick this guy’s fat ass a couple of times, but he quickly realized with the strength gap between them, and with great difficulty, he still managed to restrain his anger. Walking to the side, he yelled loudly towards the sky, “SPIRITUAL WEAPON!”

He used all his farce to throw the purple ring into the sky. He didn’t wish for this shameless Daoist to so easily make such a profit off him, otherwise he might really become so angry he’d vomit blood. 

The violet light streaked through the sky, but the fat Daoist’s reactions were very quick, the complete opposite of his appearance. He quickly charged up, and before the purple jade ring had flown even a hundred meters he managed to grab onto it before descending in complete joy. “Heaven’s will, it’s Heaven’s will.”

Ye Fan truly had a feeling of wanting to throw up blood. This fatty truly was too shameless, purposely trying to anger others.

“Respected Daoist, don’t you feel like you’re going too far? Monks should have a bit more character and conduct themselves with integrity. You can’t be so avaricious.” Even the veins on Ye Fan’s forehead were popping.

“This poor Daoist is always very self-disciplined. The outer world cannot move my heart. Such imperfections are wiped away from me, leaving my heart like the divine moon shining from above.”

Seeing him act in such a deceitful manner, Ye Fan sense of anger and frustration rose to a new level. “Since you say it like that, give me back my things!”

“Monks must be benevolent to the children. It’s only because we have karma that I’ve suffered this much to help you avoid three disasters and take on these three transformed demons.” The fat Daoist had a benevolent face, appearing extremely simple and honest. He spouted a  heavenly saying shamelessly, acting like an enlightened person.

“You fucking bastard!” Ye Fan gnashed his teeth in anger. “What is Daoist’s name?”

“My family name is Duan and my given name is De. You can call me Duan De.”

“No wonder you’re so lacking in morals! Duan De! Clearly lacking in morals!”
