Ozaki mentions sometimes (all the time) that patients that should be coming in do not, and that patients that do come in, are there because of silly reasons. I kind of want a chapter now where we see Ozaki having to deal and get annoyed with one of those hypochondriacs, where they complain about trivial pains and then get told off for bothering him (it could also add to his new 'lashing out at patients because he's frustrated with himself' trend).
Seishin has written an essay on Native American mythology!? That sort of blew my mind. I wonder if all of his essays are as dark as his Cain and Abel one, and how he would dramatize a Native American legend. Jeez. I don't think I even know any Native American legends. Apparently Seishin used his time at college to do some real studying, not just partying like most English (or in his case, Japanese--general writing) majors. It seems like religion has a lot of personal significance to him even outside of being a monk. Ono was a Buddhist major in college, but a lot of her works involve multiple faith-mystic professionals. You should know better than anyone what scenes we'll get.
Seishin's wide knowledge of religions actually fits cause we see him being accepting of the Ohtsukas' religion too. I wonder if he studied at coffee shops like most English/Japanese general writing majors? Thread Reply to this Thread from start Parent
