She's That Knight Known as Zero 268 Time For Everything

Five months prior, Natsuki came to ask for Nana's hand. And now they are on their way to attend the wedding. Currently they have been travelling for three weeks now and are very close to Confederate.

As for Kaoru, Akira had no other choice but to go with him. Though she was still not talking to him. She could only go for he was adamant on not leaving until Akira goes with him. They could only send their regards as well, Hesperian was still at the beginning stage of their development after all.

And since this is the wedding for Natsuki and Nana, who were part of squad zero, obviously the whole squad are to be there. So Yukimura and the others left it to them to attend the royal wedding.

"Brother!! Everyone!!" just as they entered the city, they were welcomed by Nana who was informed that they have passed through the borders.

"Nana!!" the girls obviously run to her.

The people are surrounding them, they got the news that the pillars of the war are coming for the wedding so everyone was excited, especially those who were revived after Reset. They didn't get the chance to meet anyone outside the kingdom after all.

Nana happily guided everyone back to the castle. Since they were special guests, they were then being accomodated in the castle. And those who accompanied them were then lead to other inns where they will stay until the wedding which is the day after tomorrow.

"Father couldn't come due to the problems about the rebels, so I suppose I shall be the one to walk you down the aisle. Both he and mother were feeling sad that they couldn't come," Rino said after they settled down and was waiting for Natsuki to show up.

"I've heard, he had sent a letter to King Ichiro regarding that. I too feel sad but there's nothing we can do about it. The rebels are currently unpredictable on what kinds of plans they have," Nana replied sadly but her eyes shows understanding.

It was her big day after all, she was sad that their family was not whole during this time.

The rebels have also started moving four months ago, but they were being stopped through Raven's lead. It's just that, it seems they were still trying to check things out. As for what are their future plans, it is still unknown. One thing is for sure, they wanted their abilities back.

"Come on everyone, are you going to talk about serious matters a few days before our wedding? Why don't we have simple chats instead?" Natsuki who just arrived said with a smile.

The guys stood up to give him a pat or a smack in the back.

All of them were happily chatting and eating, the girls were happily giggling as they tease Nana about her wedding.

Well there is an exception to this happy moment, she was giggling and all but there were multiple times that she was just quietly listening and sipping from her own cup.

"Suzuki," Nana called out.

Everyone was already looking at her.

"Ah, did you ask me something? I'm sorry I was in deep thought I didn't notice at all," she said sheepishly.

"His reason was acceptable though. All kingdoms are starting to have problems with the rebels and it seems that their's was a bit more intense. There's really nothing he can do about it," Nana added after seeing Satsuki's look.

Since the rebels didn't do anything yet in the past, no one could aprehend them despite being ready to do so. It was just lately that they started moving.

She bit her lower lip, it seems that everything was visible in her face, "I know that. But it is still a bit sad, we were all together and he couldn't be here."

"He's not the only one who was not here though, isn't it that Eu-"

His mouth was covered by Feena, Hideyoshi being he is was just about to open the pandora box. All of them slowly looked at Raven who was sitting by the window sill, looking outside.

He raised his brows due to their actions but he could only shake his head, "I don't mind, why are you being in tip toes right now? Isn't this a happy occassion?"

"Ahahaha," they laughed awkwardly before Feena smacked Hideyoshi in the head.

"With this..."

Raven stood up and approached them, "I can just be your partner for that day, princess. Will this knight be enough as your partner?"

The guys first suppressed it but soon they started laughing at his gesture.

"That doesn't suit you at all," Hideyoshi said as he laughed holding his stomach.

"You were asking nicely but you look like you are demanding for her to accept your proposal," Mamoru added.

Rino and Natsuki just laughed and Raven shrugged before sitting close to their group.

"Well then, I say, this princess is lucky enough to have a partner such as you, sir knight. Most ladies would definitely seeth in envy and jealousy on that day for sure," Suzuki smiled and replied in a modest way, copying Raven.

Another round of laughter engulfed their group. Soon they were met by Ichiro and they had a bountiful dinner. The whole kingdom was in a melodious time, the first wedding after the war. And it has to be a royal one. Everyone was getting busy to make it a big success.

After that, the ladies went away to have ladies only time. The guys went to Natsuki's lounge to have a drink.

They were just chatting until the first bottle was finished.

"You were right and Theo sent the letter that his findings were the same," Natsuki then seriously said to Raven.

Raven nodded, by now he was no longer shock, more like he was expecting it already.

After some thought and Rino and the other's persuasion, he finally told them about Eureka. Of course they were all skeptical about it but soon realized that what Raven said was  actually true.

And now another year have passed, those who didn't really interact with her and only saw her from a far, have already forgotten about her. With this, he finally knew that the level of interaction was the case on what time you would forget about her.

"I suppose the next ones to forget about her were the knights who fought alongside her but didn't really speak with her too much. Then it would be those who got to talk to her more than just a few occassions. And finally..." Raven replied as he sip in his glass.

He didn't finish his words but the guys knew that the finally's continuation would be, us.

Of course this piece of news was still unknown to the others. The ones who knew were Yukimura and the guys of squad zero. All decided not to disclose it to the ladies at any cost unless they themselves have discovered it.

They fell silent after Raven finished his words. They were all feeling heavy about such discovery, who would want to forget her? Not one of them obviously.

They even wanted to find a way to stop it but Raven crushed every possible hope they could have by explaining that the people despite being told about her once they forget, the very next day, they would once again forget they had such conversation.

Seeing all their heavy looks Raven sighed, "Come on, this should be a joyous day. Don't make it a heavy one. What we can do at the moment is to keep living happily."

Rino smiled and patted his shoulder, "Come on, let's have a toast for the first wedding within our group."

Soon the heavy atmosphere was finally dispelled and they returned to their normal conversation trying their best to avoid that topic again.

"But I say, isn't he a bit too much? Just for a surprise all of us had to be involved," Hideyoshi after having his fifth glass started complaining.

"Things you do for your love one, this is just one example of it," Mamoru commented as he chuckled.

"Are you ready? Do you think you can do it?" Natsuki then looked at Raven and asked.

"I'm still confident with my capabilities," Raven smiled as he replied.

"And... What are your plans?" Rino then looked at Hideyoshi.

Even the other three looked at him with their eyes asking him.

"Don't look at me like that, no pressure alright. Plus she said until I am ready I should not decide just because everyone around us is getting married," Hideyoshi replied as he dawned another glass.

"But you really can't make her wait that long can you?" Mamoru answered as he took the bottle away from Hideyoshi, he was obviously getting drunk already.

"Hey..." all he could do for even his vision is becoming double.

"I'll do it properly, it's just... it's still not the.. time... for... me."

And his down. The other four could only shake their heads, he was still the most childish among them.

"There's always time for everything," Raven commented as he too dawned the remaining contents of his glass before standing up and bidding them good night.
