She's That Knight Known as Zero 226 Notebook

Leo was still in a daze as this questions were thrown at him. He couldn't help but to look around, he knew that a lot of years have passed since the last time he was here. That is why he was quite taken a back after seeing his daughter all grown up.

He stopped the tears that was on the verge of coming out. On the future he was, his daughter have died, she died of a tragic death. That is why seeing her here, alive and well, he felt emotional.

He then saw Raven who was just standing on the side watching the happenings in front of him. Leo could clearly say that this was the son of Yukimura, other than the hair and eye color which matched the child in his memory. Raven have the characteristic of Yukimura's face, such as the nose and the jaw line. But he got Mutsumi's eye.

After his eyes wondered around and waited for the others to finish questioning him, he repeated his question a while ago that fell in deaf ears, "Why am I alive?"

He knew all of his crimes, the crimes Juzo have committed using his body. He may not recall everything but at the beginning he was aware of it.

All those around him were taken a back by his question, the other three then subconsciously looked at Akihiro.

"You were saved, that's what happened. You were saved before Juzo was once again sealed. Which is, truly, a good thing. We really are very much delighted, that you have finally waken up."

The others then started adding to what Akihiro had said, showing how happy they were and how thankful they were that he was finally back. Of course the happiest would obviously be Azusa and Layla.

Soon, Akito noticed that Leo was stopping himself from drifting back to sleep. The fatigue was obvious for a doctor like him.

"Okay, that's enough chatter for now. The patient just woken up, he needs to rest. I would like for most of you to leave the room and let the patient regain more of his strength," though he spoke full of respect, he still had the tone of the doctor.

Having no other choice, Akihiro and the others bade him farewell promising to visit him with the others once he had completely regained his strength.

Azusa also bid him farewell for she still has her duties, Raven bowed to him in respect before leaving the room.

Only he and Layla were left. Layla helped him lay down once again and fixed his blanket before she sat on the side and watched him drifted back to sleep. Of course she was scared that it might take him a long time to wake up once again but she suppressed this feeling for she knew that Leo had really woken up already.

Leo slowly closed his eyes as a question lingered at the back of his mind, 'Who saved me then?'

"I'm wondering Akihiro," after returning to his office, Yukimura finally asked the question that was at the tip of his tongue ever since Akihiro answered Leo's question.

Akihiro looked at him as he take his sit behind his desk, picking up the papers that was scattered all over his table when he suddenly run out a while ago.

"You didn't tell him that he was saved by Eureka, why?"

Kaoru who was also with them looked at his brother inquiringly, he too had this question.

Akihiro's movement momentarily stopped after hearing his question before he continued organizing the papers. He then sighed before replying, "Eureka had told us that he would surely feel guilty over the things he have done. If he found out that Eureka saved him before she finally saved the world. I think he'll feel much more guilty over this."

Yukimura and Kaoru understood, Leo was a smart guy and all of them knew, that the move Eureka used on separating him with Juzo, took a lot from her. Then she had to go and help him recover his energy, surely she had used too much.

And if what they came up with is not wrong, it is also due to this that Eureka have really disappeared. At most she would have a tattered body once she had used Reset, but because she had more extra "movements", the outcome became different and in the end she disappeared.

If they can come up with this, then surely the much more intelligent Leo would come up with it.

"Raven!!" Yukimura the remembered that his son was there as well.

"Don't worry about your son, he is as smart as Leo, he would be able to get why I didn't tell Leo of who was it that saved him. He would surely inform Azusa about it and Azusa shall be the one who will inform her mother," Akihiro who was startled by Yukimura's sudden exclamation, solemnly explained.

"Then when do you plan on telling him? We really can't keep this from him forever can we?" Kaoru who was just listening finally opened his mouth and asked.

"Not until he gets over his other guilt, its better we don't add more. You've seen his reaction when he woke up. The one thing he asked the second time was, why was he alive? Leo being the righteous person as he was, would surely wanted to die once his mind has cleared up," as he started working on the papers again, he answered Kaoru's question.

Seeing as he had returned to his work, Yukimura decided to bid them farewell, "I shall do my best to suppress the information regarding Eureka's saving him from Leo. I will inform the generals and the captains and they will be the ones who will spread it before Leo gets out of the hospital."

"Thank you," Akihiro looked up and thanked him sincerely.

Seeing as the two have bade farewell from each other, Kaoru decided to go and return to his own work, before his brother confiscates all of his pastries and tea and coffee again.

"Go and inform your mother," Raven after explaining what Akihiro have explained to Yukimura and Kaoru, turned his back from Azusa.

Azusa acknowledged as she watched him walk away, at the same time her face had a puzzled look in it.

After speaking with Azusa, Raven returned to the training ground and continued instructing the other knights. He continued like his normal day.

After doing everything he returned home. But his home was already different from Mutsumi and Yukimura. He had decided to live at the edge of the kingdom. This place was close to where Eureka and Kaoru lived before.

When he was talking about living alone, Kaoru had tried to persuade him to live at the place where he and Eureka lived but he had declined.

'I'm not interested in becoming a caretaker,' he decisively said.

And so what was given to him was the house closest to it. There were only a few houses at the edge after all, for after the edge was the dense forests and the path towards the borders.

He entered the house and went straight to his room. The house was a one story building. Upon entry was a porch followed by the living room at its side was the kitchen together with the dining area, with only a counter as the divider. There were two rooms, one was his and the other was the guest room. Each have their own bathroom and another bathroom near the living room.

His appliances were the simplest out there, he didn't care though, for he only stayed there whenever he needs to rest or when his on day off.

Upon entering his room he sat down at his table and pulled the drawer, he took out a cluster of parchments tied with a string, creating a notebook. He took out a quilt and dabbed it with ink before opening the notebook.

A few pages already had some things written on it. After flipping a few  more pages he finally started writing at the next blank page.

He continued writing, page after page. When he had filled four pages, he finally stopped and read over it as if making sure that what he had written was the right words.

Finally a few spaces after the last sentence he wrote the date of today. He then sighed and returned the notebook in the drawer, that's when he finally changed out of his training clothes and took a bath.

He was too tired to even think about eating as after taking a bath he went straight to bed and fell into a deep slumber.

What ever he had written on that notebook, surely someday it shall be known, but for now, it shall be kept to his drawer waiting to have more things written on it.
