Semester 1, Day 1

“First of all, I feel depressed.”


Isa was sulking on her desk.



She had just finished reading a part of her favorite romance novel and feels like she lost her virginity.



“Hey.”



A tall figure patted her on the head and comforted her.



“What happened.”



This tall figure was her best friend, Lucas. They’ve been friends since Pre-kindergarten.



She ignored the question.



“Just contemplating about life.”



Isa was still sulking when Lucas flicked her on the head.



“WHAT WAS THAT FOR !?”



“Just telling you to wake up to reality.”



“Man,” Isa said, still in pain, “You really need to stop doing that, it hurts”



“What if I don’t?”



“You know, never mind that, let’s just go to lunch.”



At the cafeteria, Isa went to sit alone again, but unsurprisingly, Lucas sat with her.



One thing you might not know about Lucas so far, is that he is very popular. Lucas is kind, outgoing, and very honest about everything.



So, you know what that means.



“Hey Lucas, sit with us! Why do you always sit with the weirdo?”

“Yeah, you should sit with normal kids like us.”

“Hey Lucas, want to sit at our table?”



Bla, Bla, Bla



“Nah, I'm ok”



Isa was shocked. {He didn’t leave? Why sit with me?}



“I’m cool with my friend. Besides, who are you?”



{Heh?}



After that, they were never bothered again.
