Mu Lingxi pretended to act casual when she saw Prince Long Fuzi. She silently settled herself in one of the chair not too far away from where the two men were talking.

Mu Lingxi immediately reckoned as she eyed the middle aged man talking to her grandfather.
She inferred base on the robe that the middle age man was wearing. His robe was akin to a golden silk with a dragon embroidery.
Her eyes observed them further and although she could not hear what exactly they are talking about.
It was obvious that Mu Ruochen was in a good mood since he had this big smile plastered on his handsome face. It was as if the head of the Mu clan was afraid that his majesty will fail to see all his pearl white teeth.
The two was engaged in a deep conversation that it took them a few more minutes before they realized that Mu Lingxi had arrived on the main hall for quite some time now.
Sensing somebody else presence Mu Ruochen, did a brief side glance. On his peripheral vision, there he saw his granddaughter, Mu Lingxi.
This grandchild of his was sitting not too far away and her very presence was akin to a white lotus, radiating calmness. His eyes soften upon seeing this lovely granddaughter.
"How long have you been waiting in there????" Mu Ruochen tried to call out Mu Lingxi's attention by talking to her all of a sudden.
His voice bring brought Mu Lingxi's wandering mind. When she looked back from where his grandfather was sitting, Mu Ruochen was walking towards her.
At the same time, Prince Long Fuzi and is father, the emperor also turned their attention to whom Mu Ruochen was talking to.
This would be the first time that Prince Long Fuzi will see Mu Lingxi after their awkward departure on the banquet last time.
Right after Mu Ruochen called the maid servant to fetched their young miss, Prince Long Fuzi's eyes never leaved the entrance door. He was waiting for Mu Lingxi's appearance with much anticipation reflecting on his two eyes.
That is why, when Mu Lingxi took her step inside the hall, Prince Long Fuzi noticed her right away. Although he pretended that he was not aware of Mu Lingxi's arrival since the two old men did not notice her yet.
The eyes that he used to look at Mu Lingxi was full of fervor, as if a lover longing to touch his partner. But Mu Lingxi on the other hand averted her gaze as soon as she saw that Prince Long Fuzi was looking at her direction.
Unaware from the awkwardness that his granddaughter was feeling, Mu Ruochen held Mu Lingxi's hand and take her where the royal father and son was sitting.
"Xiao Lingxi, I believe that you already met Prince Long Fuzi during the banquet last week, and this over here is his father, the emperor itself"
Mu Ruochen introduced the two visitor with obvious joy on his voice.
After the perfunctory introduction, Mu Lingxi bowed her head right away afraid to meet their eyes.
Well somehow it's normal for Mu Lingxi to feel a little bit hesitant about this sudden visit from the emperor. Since she was still thinking that it could be related to the incident between her and that annoying Prince Long Yue.
"Lady Lingxi,..."
It was the emperor who first broke the silence after the awkward introduction.
"Cold sweat drenched Mu Lingxi's back upon hearing the emperor calling her name. She was not sure why, but she really don't feel good about this.
"Ehem,.." Prince Long Fuzi cleared his throat. He probably feelt that the presence of the emperor brought discomfort to Lady Lingxi.

Instead of getting irritated for his son's interruption, the emperor reacted the opposite.
He laughed as if there is no tomorrow. His eyes that was almost negligible at first glance seems to disappear after he smile widely.
"Lady Lingxi, your beauty really exceeds your fame. I heard so much about you and I'm glad to finally had a chance to meet you."
The emperor said out of perfunctory.
"Little girl, the emperor personally asked to see you because she was curious to see the lady that can capture his highly sought bachelor son."
Mu Ruochen said with hint of teasing as he secretly elbowed Mu Lingxi and winked.

Mu Lingxi glared at Janus, but she remained silent. Somehow she already develop a feeling of protectiveness over Mu Ruochen.
