[Alright, so I read about this on one of those books at the Elixir Making section. I found this record about a sorceress that suits your description. This sorceress was dubbed as the best potioneer of the Milennia.]

Janus first gave them a few words of introduction about the other party.

He even put some effort into giving a pause for a few more seconds to add more drama to his introduction before continuing.

[She had been in Magus Academia for a long time, before being reported as a missing person way back 30 years ago. Then after around 10 years ago, she went back to Magus Academia as if nothing happens.]

"A sorceress that is good at Elixir making who left Magus Academia and reported back at school 20 years ago. Hmmm... Interesting."

Mu Lingxi said to herself as she nodded her head.

It was unsure whether it was pure coincidence or not, but the other party's appearance and disappearance fitted to their timeline.

The description could very much likely be the same with the lead that they had so far about her mother.

They can start from there.

"We can try looking for her, who is that student? Did you get her name???"

Guinevere suggested.

Although the baby snow dragon prefers to stay inside Mu Lingxi's storage ring most of the time, she was still aware of what was happening around her.

She knew that reason why Mu Lingxi was adamant about looking at this matter. This is not just because she wanted to do extra just to help her friend, Long Yue.

Mu Lingxi was doing this not for anyone else, but for herself.

Because the whereabouts of the apprentice necromancer has everything to do with her identity.

Whether it was her, or the previous owner of her body, Mu Lingxi won't be able to deny the fact that she was entangled with all those secrets.

Guinevere also knows that there is a high chance that the old hermit was also aware of it. Or if he was not fully aware, he at least knew a thing or two about these secrets.

Most likely, the old hermit sent her to Mu Lingxi for this purpose.

That is why Guinevere also wants to uncover more about these secrets, as much as anyone else.

"If she is not a student from this school, then which school of magic did she came from???"

Guinevere was not the only one who was surprised when they heard Janus' revelation. Even Mu Lingxi did not expect this outcome.

So that must be the case why they can't finding anything last time. Despite her combined effort with Yun Xue and Fan Lei.

The reason why they cannot see anything related to the sorceress that they were looking for, is not because her record was erased or being kept somewhere away from their access.

It is not that someone was purposely hiding the information to them. It is just that they fail to think about this possibility.

They focused on searching at the student's record last time.

Not knowing that the one that they were looking for is not a student, but a teacher!

No one knows where the other party stayed during those years that she went missing. Nor what happened to her or what she had done during those times.

"Where is she now???"

This time it was Mu Lingxi who asked that. She badly wanted to meet that sorceress.

The more she heard about the other party, the more she felt that it was the same sorceress that they were looking for.

She must be her mother, Yu Yan.

The same sorceress that came back to Magus Academia to face the apprentice necromancer once and for all for the sake of her dear daughter.

Of course, Janus already tried gathering everything related on that sorceress, while he was previously checking the books.

In fact, there was not even a mention of the current whereabouts of that sorceress. Or what happened to her after she came back to Magus Academia.

The news about her coming back at Magus Academia is the last record that the school had about her.

"How are we supposed to find that sorceress then??? We need to find her..."

Her shoulders slumped down in desolation when she realized that they reached another impasse.

Whenever she thought that she was close to finding the truth or the answer, she will always end up being stump with another dead end.
