But he was not a good liar though, because he cannot keep his cool while he was saying that.

Mu Lingxi fired up another question without holding back herself. She just wanted to make everything clear.

One of his hands was holding a chalice and it was golden in color. There was a cap placed above it to seal the chalice.

It is a good thing that the cover of the chalice seemed tight.

It does not look like the cover will come off easily if they will not purposely open it.

"It's actually easier than I expected..'

Chan Gu said to his friends as he gave another look at the ancient chalice in his hand.

Indeed, finding the ancient chalice had been too easy.

Of course, at first, they also held some doubts about the authenticity of the item.

They even thought that they got the wrong chalice.

But after looking for a few more minutes, they soon realized that it does not seem like they got the wrong item

Because when he and Fan Lei tried looking around the area, there is no other chalice aside from the one that they got.

Long Yue beckoned as he started walking ahead of the group.

He was definitely looking forward to returning to Magus Academia and gave the ancient chalice to Schoolmaster Yin.

Hopefully, the ancient chalice is the key that would be able to help them to finally awakened Luna.

The rest of the group also felt the same way so they all went out of the old mansion with Long Yue on their lead.

So far, everything seemed to go on smoothly and Mu Lingxi can't help but feel that everything was going way too smooth sailing that she was starting to feel unnerved.

It was unsure whether she was just being apprehensive for no reason but the fact that everything went on smoothly in this quest is really suspecting by itself.

It did not take long for the group to reach the same massive wooden door where they came in. It was still left wide open and a gust of wind was still coming from it.

It was Long Yue who first stepped out of the old mansion followed by his other friends. The last one to step out of the old mansion was Yun Xue.

But as soon as Yun Xue stepped out of the house, the sanguine ambient light of the place started to show some visible changes.

The reddish-brown color of the place that looks like dried blood started to look fresh. It was as if the whole place was coming alive and it was bleeding!!!!

When Mu Lingxi and others noticed these changes, they immediately took out each of their wands to prepare themselves.

They anticipated as much as this so they were not surprised to see these kinds of changes before they could leave the place.

But although they were already prepared for this, they still can't help but feel goosebumps as the witnessed how the entire place looks as if it was bleeding.
