Long Fuzi said to comfort his younger brother who seemed as if all kinds of hopes and light abandoned him.

Long Yue right now looked no different from a deflated balloon as e stood there with his shoulders slump and his face gloomy.

"Don't forget that even Schoolmaster Yin told us that he will try looking for a way to help us. Considering that it has been a while since then, I believe that we will be hearing back from him one of these days. Just be positive"

Chan Gu added when he recalled another source of help that they could turn to. When Fan Lei was reminded by the man whom they met before they left the school library, he almost slapped his own forehead.

Mu Lingxi tried to sound optimistic as much as possible. But the nervous smile on her face still gives her true feeling away.

The group with Teacher Nana on their lead walk passed through several corridors before the bizarre-looking staircase came into their view.

Taking a closer look at the painting, they saw the beautiful maiden resting under the flowering peach tree. The lady in the portrait looked enigmatic as ever.

The mysterious lady in the portrait looked as beautiful as ever. Like an ethereal fairy gracing their eyes with her presence.

Her long black hair fluttered as the invisible wind blows in it. Her hazel brown eyes stared at the new visitors and scanned each of their faces. Before her gaze landed momentarily at Mu Lingxi's direction.

When the two eyes met, Mu Lingxi was struck by that same feeling of affinity that she had felt before when she first set eyes on the painting.

Both she and Janus felt that same feeling of familiarity towards the painting befre. But they immediately pass that out as a feeling of curiosity. After all, it was their first time seeing a moving portrait, and a very lifelike at that.

But right now, Mu Lingxi wonders if this feeling of affinity was still evoked out from pure curiosity or if there is another meaning behind it?

Her interest was drawn closer to the beautiful maiden inside the painting. But before Mu Lingxi could observe the maiden in the painting, it already went on doing its task.

The beautiful maiden stretched her hands upwards to next the upper edge of the painting before she tore the canvass int half and allowing them entry.

As soon as the canvass was peeled away, a long and dark corridor appeared before them. Due to their prior experience, the group no longer felt surprised about it and they followed Teacher Nana as they took their step inside the painting on by one.

When they first came here before, Teacher Nana still had to report herself as a teacher of the academy and had to wait for a few minutes before they gain entry.

Bu this time, they were given an immediate entry as soon as the beautiful maiden saw them. Before anyone from their group could even introduce themselves

It seemed that Schoolmaster Yin was already expecting them inside his chamber. He already instructed the beautiful maiden in the painting to allow them access to the passageway.

When they reached the end of the long corridor, they saw that the wooden door in Schoolmaster Yin was left ajar.

"Schoolmaster Yin specifically told me that he wants to have a private talk with your group and asked me to escort you all the way here. I guess I could only take you as far as here. Schoolmaster Yin must be waiting for you guys inside, You should hurry up. I'll take my leave now."

Teacher Nana said before she took her leave. Walking down the same empty and dark passageway that they previously took.

The group knocked at the wooden door first to announce their presence.

"Come in..."

When they heard Schoolmaster Yin's voice inviting them in, that is the only time that they went inside his chamber.
