"Where are we now Long Fuzi???"

Chan Gu asked after some time. Since Long Fuzi had arrived a couple of minutes prior to them, he directed his question to him.

"I believed we are now somewhere around the outskirts of the Rhapsody Swamp."

"Even I can come up with that same deduction, myself. Isn't it a given that we are somewhere along the outskirts of Rhapsody Swamp since we just have been teleported outside of it just a while ago."

Long Yue said to his brother.

"HEHEHE. That is exactly what I'm trying to say. I am also not too sure about our current location either."

"From the current looks of it, we were probably teleported at the west wing portal. According to the books, Rhapsody Swamp has four exits in total."

Fan Lei said as he observed the place around them.

Tall mahogany trees covered the area. It stretched upward going heaven-bound. Its altitude was so high that it almost looked as if it will just about to kiss the clouds above them.

The viridescent view of the sea of trees sways as it dances with the wind every time that the wintry breeze blows.

The crips sound of the leaves as well the gentle whistling of the birds as they sing to each other creates a perfect harmony that brings the melodious sound of nature.

Just like what Fan Lei said, the exit to Rhapsody Swamp is divided into four portals.

The ones leading at the west wing portal is connected to a luxuriant dense forest. Which they were currently at.

The other three portals also had their own distinctive features. Such as the water-bound north wing. Where the vast blue sea that extends to the horizon where the other worlds meet can be seen.

The south wing portal with its ever so active volcanoes that spits molten rocks in almost every minute.

A river of lava that never dries up flows to its land while a thick blanket of ashes covered the area just like how the snows covered the grounds during winter.

The east wing portal is connected to an exit that will bring one to a relatively high place. So high above the ground that one will be given a chance to witness the sea of clouds. If one will look straight ahead of them.

Each of the sections of the Rhapsody Swamp exits is also assigned to a mythological creature, collectively known as the Four Symbols.

These creatures are the Azure Dragon of the East, the White Tiger of the West, the Black Tortoise of the North, and the Vermillion Bird of the South.

"How are we going to travel to the Long Kingdom from here???"

Mu Lingxi asked the main problem. Since they have not yet to reach their true destination, hey still have to travel for quite a distance.

But the problem is how are they going to travel from here to there???

It is not as if they could hail a cab or book a taxi through Grab here. Mu Lingxi thought to herself as she waited to her friend's request.

As they need to establish a mental link with their spiritual beast, the group sat down with their eyes closed and their legs crossed.

A few minutes after, the ground suddenly rumbled furiously as if an intense earthquake had struck the area. Following this, a massive beast rose up from the earth.

It had the head of a lion, the horns of a deer, the eyes of a tiger, the body of the moose, the scales of a dragon, and the tail of an ox.

It was a chimerical Qilin!

The Chimerical Qilin bows its head towards Fan Lei's direction as it pays its respect towards its master.

This phenomenon was followed by a strong gale of wind as the clouds started to turn dark and thunder boomed in the air while lightning cracks in the sky.

As if signifying that Armageddon is coming!

A creature hovers in the air above them. It has the head and wings of an eagle with a body, tail and hind legs of a lion.

Its back was covered with feathers and it has long claws and talons of such size that one can actually use them as drinking cups.

This magical beast answers to Yun Xue's calling since it was his spiritual beast. A Gryphon!

All exhibition does not end there because just a couple of seconds have passed when another weird-looking hybrid creature appeared before them.

The creature has a body as large as a calf, with horns like a roebuck, red eyes, a beard like a tiger and a frightful countenance.

The face of this creature was something like that of a man, its body was covered in scales, and it has an extremely long tail.

So long that it passed entirely around the body, over the head and between the legs, ending like a fish.

This is a Piasa Bird, which is Chan Gu's spiritual beast.

Last but definitely not least is Long Fuzi's spiritual beast called Nian.

This beast though has a body of a bull, with a flat-face lion head with a sharp horn on it and a prominent incisor

Each of the spiritual beasts of the group was already in full display. It was a pity that only Long Yue cannot summon his.

One reason is that he refuses to sign a contract with any magical beast before and insists on keeping Luna.

But Luna is not in a good condition as of the moment to accompany him, and so he will be riding with his Brother Long Fuzi.

Janus also reverted back to his panther form so as to give Mu Lingxi a mount to ride on.

After deciding the next route that they will have to take, the group leaped onto the back of each of their own spiritual beast and together, they dashed towards one direction.

[Gosh! Why am I the only handsome looking beast here??? All of them look like a beast made out of mutilated body parts! Such freaks! A Frankenstein beast. Tch! ]
