Mu Lingxi was awakened by the sound of her friend's voice calling out for her name.

When she opened her eyes once more, a pitch dark place flooded her sight. It takes a couple of minutes before her eyes managed to get used to the darkness around her.

Looking around the place, Mu Lingxi realized that she was currently resting inside a cave. The space inside the cave is not large, just enough to give three to five people a comfortable place to rest.

The bright full moon was already hanging high up at the night sky, casting a pale white glow at the entrance of the cave.

Even the joyful cacophony of birdsong in the wee hours of the morning was already replaced by its night counterpart, the dusk chorus.

The sound made by the dusk chorus started to resound in the area as soon as the sun took a deep dip in the western horizon.

This chorale was made of the occasional hooting of the owls, together with other nocturnal creatures such as crickets and sweet nightingales.

Mu Lingxi could clearly hear the pleasant sound made by the nocturnal creatures in the surroundings. The sound of their singing permeated the area welcoming the arrival of the night.

On her side, Mu Lingxi also saw a young lady around the same age as hers. The young lady was sitting with her knees tucked up to her chest. Just like her, the young lady was also taking her nap on the cold floor of the cave.

The cold draft of the night chilled their bodies that it almost feels like the chill was running deep into their bones.

The sleeping young lady was woken up when Mu Lingxi stirred into motion.

"Ohh,.. you are awake... are you okay now? How is your wound? Does it still hurt???"

The young lady asked Mu Lingxi's condition as soon as it saw that she was already awake.

The other party's eyes were full of concern when she asked that, devoid of any falsehood. This in return warmed Mu Lingxi's heart, especially since the young lady also had a sweet and comforting voice.

Each of the students competing inside the arena was trying their best to get a hold of other student's personal token.

For their aim is to eliminate as many competitors as they could before the time ends. So Mu Lingxi felt no offense for this matter.

"I suppose, since I am the one who saved you back there, you won't harbor a plan of snatching my personal token, right? Or else you will be branded as an ingrate."

Hae Soo said as she looked at Mu Lingxi. But from the way she said it, it sounded more like she was just joking around to lighten the mood.

"Of course I'm not an ungrateful person. Rest assured that I won't stoop so low by doing that. I owe you one."

Mu Lingxi offered her reassurance right away.

"That's good to hear then... Oh right! Your wound. Let's clean it and changed its bandage to prevent it from getting infected."

"Err.. W- w- wait! Hold on for a second...hey stop!"

Mu Lingxi was stunned for a moment when Hae Soo suddenly move closer to her and without further ado started her act of removing the bandage on her wound.

"Tch. There is no point getting shy to me now. I already saw everything.."

"Everything?!!!!"

Mu Lingxi asked in bewilderment. When she heard the other party saying 'everything', she feels like she had been struck by lightning.

"Err.. NO! I don't exactly mean everything, as in everything. Trust me... I'm only referring on your upper half, your bare chest. I don't go further down to it. Don't let your imagination run wild!"

Realizing that she somehow misspoke, Hae Soo face flushed crimson from embarrassment. She was waving her hand and doing exaggerated hand gestures as she tries to explain herself in a hurry

On the other hand, hearing the other party's explanation, Mu Lingxi heaved a sigh of relief. Having a first good impression towards the other party, Mu Lingxi believed the credibility of Hae Soo's word without any hesitation.

'Ohh.. At least, I was still fully chaste all throughout.'

This thought cross Mu Lingxi's mind at that time. She feels like her chastity will be compromised if someone will managed to get a glimpse of her in her birthday suit.

The notion of having her naked body exposed for another individual's eyes to see makes her feel uncomfortable. It even sent goosebumps on her skin.

Even though, the other party was a girl just like her, she still feels like she still needs to held some reservation towards it.

Before Hae Soo could finish removing the bandage on Mu Lingxi's wound, Shen Biru entered the cave and saw the two in the middle of their argument.

Since Mu Lingxi acted up and was trying to resist when Hae Soo was on the process of undressing her wound, the two of them were left in an awkward position.

If someone will going to see them at their current position right now, one will though that Hae Soo was trying to take advantage of Mu Lingxi.

Both of Hae Soo's hands was tugging the clothes in Mu Lingxi's body ready to undress her. While Mu Lingxi was trying her best to resist and she even had her arms crossed in front of her chest.

When Shen Biru finally got a clear view on the spectacle happening in front of her, she was too shock to even say a word.

The words that she wanted to say were caught at the back of her throat and she stood on the same spot dumbstruck.

Her eyes went on big circles as she took the sight before her.

It looks like someone was trying to force herself to her Brother Yan!

Audacious! This is unforgivable!

Shen Biru stared fixated with her mouth agape. So wide that it almost seemed as if she was a fish that had fallen on the shore.

"What are you doing to My Su Yan?!!!!"

Shen Biru managed to force those words out from her lips after her long daze.

"It is not like what you are thinking!!!"

Both Mu Lingxi and Hae Soo blurted out almost at the same time.

Both of their words and expression were synchronized, that they almost mirrored each other's reaction perfectly.

No matter who it was they will also find if weird seeing two people with an exactly alike expression, and Shen Biru is not an exemption to that.

Thus when she saw Su Yan and Hae Soo react that way, it only intensifies her suspicion. The disbelief in her eyes deepened further the more she looked at the duo.

"What is the matter Shen Biru?"

Before Mu Lingxi and Hae Soo could even explain their side properly, another group of warlocks arrived.

When they noticed that Shen Biru was getting hysterical, Fan Lei and the others also went inside the cave to check what is going on.

Looking around the cave, the group were also greeted with the same peculiar sight. Without a doubt, just like Shen Biru, the rest of the group were also initially shocked because of what they see.

But thinking that their friend is just a natural lady killer, Fan Lei and the others recovered from their initial shock much faster than Shen Biru who were still left in daze as she looked like her soul escaped her body.

Deep in their minds, Fan Lei and the rest of Mu Lingxi's dorm mates already believed that Su Yan/ Mu Lingxi is just another rising Casanova in the near future.

The group was even gesturing two thumbs up behind Shen Biru to share their support towards their friend.
