Chapter 9 Escape
The slender Jamaican bouncer was still leaning against the wall, sniffing at a big weed joint in his hand. After hearing Leina’s shout, he walked toward her impassively. “What happened?”
When the Jamaican bouncer entered room number eight, Zhou Qingfeng jammed the muzzle of the gun into his head. “Shut the f*ck up. Raise your hands slowly, or I’ll blast your head off.”
The Jamaican bouncer’s head was pushed to the side by the muzzle of the gun. Frightened, he said, “What do you guys think you’re doing? This is Lord Korgan’s territory. You guys… you guys even broke into the Portaschi brothers’ room. You guys must be crazy!”
The Jamaican bouncer wanted to rebuke them after he saw the hole on the wooden wall, but he did not dare to move in his situation. He was forced to sit on a chair usually used for S&M play.
After Leina saw Zhou Qingfeng completely subduing the Jamaican bouncer, she quickly took out the handcuffs, rope and mouthpieces that were normally used for sex out from the wardrobe. She then tied the bouncer tightly to the chair.
“Enjoy your life, sucker!” After Leina finished tying the Jamaican bouncer, she spat in his face and even kicked his dick.
Zhou Qingfeng closed the safety and put the gun back in his waistband. After taking the bag filled with cash, he opened the door and threw a glance at Leina. “Let’s go. We need to leave immediately.”
Leina was not satisfied even after kicking the bouncer’s crotch. She complained to Zhou Qingfeng, “That bastard often pulled pranks on us. He bullied us, stole our stuff, took advantage of us, and even peed in our coffee. I hate everyone here.”
Zhou Qingfeng walked up the stairs and returned to the bar. He planned to bring Angie along with him, but after looking around, Angie, who had been sitting in front of the bar table, was now gone. The white man who tried to flirt with her was gone as well.
“Where’s Angie?” Zhou Qingfeng asked a girl who originally sat beside Angie. This fat lady with freckles on her face seemed to be Angie’s friend.
“Who are you? Take your hands off me, or else I’ll find someone to beat you up.” The fat freckled lady was already drunk as she moved her hand in an effort to shoo Zhou Qingfeng away.
Leina’s attachment to Zhou Qingfeng was weaker after she got her money. She kept prompting him, “We need to leave now. Hurry up.”
“Just wait me for outside. You can leave by yourself if I don’t come out within five minutes.” He should bring Angie back, or the plot will be messed up if something happened to her. He would have even a lower chance of getting his hands on the robotic dog.
Without much hesitation, Angie turned around and left. Zhou Qingfeng then continued threatening the fat freckled lady, “Listen up, you better tell me where Angie is, or I’ll kill you.”
Zhou Qingfeng flashed the pistol in his waistband. The fat freckled lady was instantly shocked and she trembled. “Angie left along with the boy named Cooper.”
“They left the bar?”
“No, Angie was feeling dizzy after she drank the whiskey Cooper gave her. The boys then brought her to the underground basement. They said they wanna have some fun.”
Fuck me! That bastard’s looking for his death.
Zhou Qingfeng quickly turned around and rushed to the underground basement. The mini casino in the underground basement remained noisy, and a few girls in sexy costumes were shuttling among the crowd.
Zhou Qingfeng headed to the corridor where the prostitutes normally serviced their customers. Some doors were wide open and their intercouse can be seen, while the others remained closed and their moans can be heard.
Zhou Qingfeng broke into a room with the loudest moan. The man and woman inside the room was shocked, but Angie was not in sight. “I’m sorry, you guys may carry on.”
Zhou Qingfeng wore a straight face as he continued breaking into other rooms. It was not until the third room that he saw five teenagers surrounding the bed. Angie was drunk and her clothes had been taken off. Only her brassiere and panties remained on her body as she jerked hornily on the bed.
“Hey!” Zhou Qingfeng yelled at them loudly as he took out the gun out from his waistband and pointed it at the teenagers. “Stop it.”
Five white men turned their heads around, some shocked and some sluggish. One of them was shouting angrily, “Hey, yellow monkey, do you know who I am? Don’t you f*cking try to disturb me. You better leave now, or I’ll have people to penetrate your ass.”
Bang…!
Zhou Qingfeng did not have much time to think over his actions as he pulled the trigger and shot the white man who scolded him. The white man then screamed and fell down after the bullet hit his shoulder. The other teenagers quickly raised their hands and ducked out of the way after realizing Zhou Qingfeng was being serious.
“Angie, Angie!” After shooting one man down and forcing the other men to step back, Zhou Qingfeng approached Angie, who was lying on the bed. However, he realized that this little girl was not simply drunk. Someone actually put drugs in her drinks, causing her to become unconscious.
“What the hell!” Zhou Qingfeng helped Angie up from the bed. He did not even have time to put on her shirt as they clumsily left the room.
A bouncer from the casino rushed toward the scene after hearing the gunshot. As he saw Zhou Qingfeng rush out from the room with a gun in his hand, however, he raised his hands to indicate his harmlessness and stepped aside to let them through.
Zhou Qingfeng swiftly ran down the corridor and returned to the bar. At that moment, he saw a lot of alcoholics and drug addicts moving their body crazily to the beats of the heavy metal music.
Zhou Qingfeng was eager to leave the bar as he brought Angie with him and tried to shuffle through the crowd. But when he reached the exit, he saw the fierce-looking Portaschi brothers making their way to the bar.
At the same time, the bouncer from the underground basement ran up the stairs. He immediately yelled at the Portaschi Brothers, “Hey, Ivan! Grab the kid, he wounded Cooper!”
Although the bouncer’s voice did not travel well due to the noise in the bar, Zhou Qingfeng’s movements and nervous expression still attracted the Portaschi brothers’ attention. The Portaschi brothers soon realized the situation was not right after they heard the bouncer’s shout.
“Hey, kid. I was searching for you! You lied to us. There weren’t any police catching drug traffickers on 198th street.” Ivan pushed his way through the crowd with his strong arm as he tried to open up a path and approach Zhou Qingfeng.
Zhou Qingfeng did not hesitate further when the danger was imminent. He quickly pointed his gun at the Russian guy who stood a few meters in front of him and pulled the trigger.
Ivan was extremely fierce, but he still produced a weird scream as he fell to the floor after getting shot. He then regretted opening up a path as there was nobody to block the bullet for him.
Bang bang bang! Zhou Qingfeng pulled the trigger continuously, feeling his hand becoming numb due to the recoil. Hundreds of people in the bar screamed in fright as the gunfire finally covered the heavy metal music. They glanced around in an effort to understand the situation.
A chaotic fight was clearly inevitable.
