Chapter 43 Invasion of NYPD
A SWAT team appeared in an armored command vehicle as they broke into the building right before Zhou Qingfeng escaped along with Lena Fox. That was the exact reason why the police that camped outside did not break in straightaway. They were waiting for their strongest force to initiate the attack.
Bang! The bombs that were planted at the entrance of the building were detonated and countless fragments of the glass door shattered, flying all over the place. Fortunately, Zhou Qingfeng who was standing behind the glass door had turned around in time and used his body to shield Lena Fox from the fragments. In return, however, all the fragments pierced into his back.
Ouch…. Zhou Qingfeng screamed in pain. His back was instantly soaked in blood due to his wounds.
On the other hand, Lena Fox was unable to react to the sudden attack as she blanked out. She felt herself being covered by a broad shoulder, followed by hearing a vigorous roar.
“Go, go, go, move in!”
A unit of New York’s special forces jumped down from the armored command vehicle after they pulled the emergency break. Those units believed that their sudden attack will inevitably succeed, treating it like their daily routine. Although their opponent was strong, they will always be the strongest!
Zhou Qingfeng, who was soaked in blood, became outraged due to the pain. He turned around and saw a unit member jump down from the vehicle with a gun in his hand. His muzzle was aimed at him.
“Freeze! Drop your weapon,” the unit member yelled at Zhou Qingfeng. He was well-equipped and had the numerical superiority. And so, the situation was under his control. Then, he saw a pair of red eyes filled with immense pain. The lights shined through those eyes as if they were a pair of glowing essence.
Zhou Qingfeng’s adrenaline level surged and his muscles tensed up. All the energy burst out of his body through his limbs. The powerful effect of NTZ-49 was waiting to be used.
Zhou Qingfeng was angry, so he did not ponder over it. He did not even pull out his gun. Instead, he vented his torment by using the most simplistic yet most violent method.
Zhou Qingfeng stomped his feet, crushing the marble on the ground instantly. His quadriceps then released an unparalleled force and he accelerated, seeming like a shadow that came out of nowhere. In an instant, he dashed over three meters and landed a punch on the special forces member that stood in front of him.
A crisp sound rang out. The special forces member’s cervical spine became twisted and fractured, causing him to fall down like a felled trunk of a tree. Skin and muscle were the only thing that kept his head attached to his body.
The special forces unit continued to march in without noticing their companion’s corpse. However, one of the special forces members realized that instead of marching in, his companion was blocking the way. Thus, he tried to pass through the side. All of a sudden, a foot came out from the side of his companion.
Zhou Qingfeng’s current power was two to three times the normal, and his explosion power was doubled as well. He can kick the adults with ease as if he was kicking a child. In contrast, there was no way his opponent will have such powerful muscles and bones.
Zhou Qingfeng landed a kick on the abdomen of the other special forces member, but his armor protected him from the hammer-like blow. In spite of that, the tremendous impact will not be eliminated completely. He weighed over a hundred kilograms together with his equipment, but nonetheless, he was sent flying by the powerful kick.
The first member was knocked down by a punch, while the second unit was knocked away by a kick. The special forces units then found out that the situation did not meet their expectations.
I’m so close to them! There’s no way I will miss my shot!
Bang! A .45 caliber bullet was fired, and it pierced through the head of the third unit member. The power of the gun was perfectly released, making the head of the third member completely explode. His face first expanded, and then collapsed. In the end, his face was torn apart as it turned into pieces of rotten meat.
How dare you break into this building!
How dare you launch a sudden attack!
How dare you try to scare me!
The armored command vehicle had two doors and three unit members jumped down from each door. According to the prior judgement of the police, six well-trained special forces members will be more than enough to suppress Zhou Qingfeng.
However, nobody would have thought that Zhou Qingfeng will turn abnormal after mistakenly taking the NTZ-49. He was now fast, strong, and capable of decisive judgment. He was able to kill two special forces members and wound another one that jumped down from the left-hand side with a single blow. And his counterattack did not end there; soon he got into the armored vehicle. He climbed from the left-hand side and moved to the right-hand side of the vehicle.
The special forces members from the right-hand side were still searching for their target. However, they realized that their situation was far from optimistic. Zhou Qingfeng already appeared right behind them when they tried to turn around.
As Quick as Lightning, always get the first attack move!
The cruelty and brutality in a close distance gunfight was extremely terrifying. One cannot waste even a single millisecond no matter how strong they were. Even the strongest man alive will be eliminated within a blink of an eye.
Zhou Qingfeng took the lead in a mere second when the three special forces members finally turned around. It was an extremely vital second of time. Bang! Bang! Bang! He fired three shots consecutively. His first shot pierced through the head of one member, and his second shot landed on the shoulder of the next. However, he missed his third shot.
Damn it, my shooting sucks!
There was still a unit member left in the vehicle. He was the one responsible for driving the armored vehicle and crashing into the building, then forcing an emergency break. His job was as simple as that. Everything left will be his companions’ responsibility.
Everyone thought that the fight was over the moment the New York SWAT team broke into the building as they were known worldwide for their efficiency. The commander of this operation even led the team in launching the sudden attack. However, although their attack progressed smoothly at first, a disaster happened—the commander was the first to die!
The unit member who sat on the driver’s seat was waiting for the criminal to be arrested. Instead, he saw the death of his commander.
One punch, he killed our commander with one punch!
His ghostly shadow was truly frightening and his tremendous power was even more unimaginable. All members of the New York special forces unit had Herculean physiques; a result from various scientific experiments as well as enhanced nutrition.
The commander was one point nine meters in height and over a hundred kilograms in weight. He can be described as a living bull. But after being punched by Zhou Qingfeng, his neck bent to a ninety degree angle. Such explosive power did not belong to an ordinary person.
What was even worse was that after the criminal killed the commander, he continued his attack. He trampled away the second member and fired another shot on the third. No one can immediately react to such a dazzling scene.
The special forces unit responsible for driving the vehicle soon realized that he should escape to protect himself. Surprisingly, however, the criminal did not attack him. Instead, he got into the vehicle through the left door, and fired three shots.
The speed of his shots were extremely quick, making them sound like a single shot. The special forces member responsible for driving once again witnessed the death of his companions; a headshot, a shot to the shoulder, and… God blessed him as Zhou Qingfeng missed his last shot!
What about the criminal? Where had the monstrous, cunning and cruel criminal gone to?
