During the night, the 134th-anniversary celebration went according to plan. However, they could not get enough fireworks. Thus, they used blank ammo to replace them. The celebration was actually quite lively.
“Mr. Hugo, Commander Carnell invites you to the celebration tonight.” A man named McGrady from the Strategy Committee came to notice Zhou Qingfeng. He was one of Carnell's closest guards.
“I'd be so happy to join,” Zhou Qingfeng talked to McGrady for awhile. As they walked, he pulled out a gold bar, put it in McGrady's hand, and smiled, “Is there anything special tonight?”
During the initial phase of the cataclysm, people were just trying to escape and get their stomachs filled. As the world was settling down, the value of gold started to rise. McGrady felt the weight in his hand. He looked at it and saw that it was a standard gold bar produced by Citibank, “Hahaha…., there's gonna be some gambling.”
Zhou Qingfeng frowned when he heard the word 'gambling'. During the tour, he was not really polite with them. He needed to be careful about the celebration. If it was about gambling then he would be in trouble because he did not know anything about it too. However, it would be inappropriate if he did not join. “What about the bets?”
“All sorts of things like gold, women, slaves, weapons, and even territory.” McGrady smiled and continued, “Commander Carnell is really into gambling and he has a little hobby. He likes to win. But the details…..”

As soon as McGrady paused, Zhou Qingfeng waved his hand. Sisters, Ellie and Eileen, came with a ten kilogram-worth box of gold bars. The box was not big but it was heavy. Zhou Qingfeng smiled and opened the box in front of McGrady, “It's nice to meet you, my friend.”
Zhou Qingfeng had decided to spend his gold to make things easier for him before he came to Miami. A problem that could be solved with gold bars was not a problem. The Polarlys Legion got more than a hundred tons of gold in New York, Zhou Qingfeng was not afraid that the gold would run out.
Ten kilograms of gold was not a small amount. McGrady was attracted by the shining gold bars. He knew that as long as Zhou Qingfeng was happy, more would come.
“Commander Carnell doesn't like the rules of gambling; he likes being casual. He always bets with the people around him about the incidents happening around him. He especially likes the personal belongings of others.”

Zhou Qingfeng felt disgusted with the way Carnell bet. Carnell was just trying to make himself feel better by taking away precious things from others. He would be extremely difficult to deal with.
“Get another box of gold, no…., another five boxes of gold bars.” Zhou Qingfeng waved his hand as a command to both sisters.
Six boxes of gold bars were placed in front of McGrady. He could barely hold the sixty kilograms and started to breathe heavily. He raised his head and looked at Zhou Qingfeng, “Mr. Hugo, what are you doing?”
“Mr. McGrady, as long as you can help me please both Mr. Carnell and me, the gold bars aren't a problem, I can give you a ton of these. But, the key thing is, I hope I could win too.” Zhou Qingfeng was smiling but his words were cold.
“Uhh…, it's a little difficult.” McGrady could not resist the gold bars in front of him; he was struggling to make a decision.
“No…, it's not difficult! Mr. Carnell and I have different values. How about I tell you what I want to keep and what I don't mind losing. You could prepare these things in case I lose to him.”
McGrady heaved a sigh of relief. As long as Zhou Qingfeng was not going to battle with him in a face-to-face duel, it would be much easier. Besides, it would be more convenient for McGrady to mess around with the bets.
“So, Mr. Hugo, what do you like? And what are you willing to lose?” McGrady asked.
“First of all, I'd like some advanced equipment and skilled professionals. I know the Strategy Committee had control over all the high-technology industries in the entire Florida. I wish I could get some of that. I don't care about gold or whatsoever, I don't mind losing money.” Zhou Qingfeng knew McGrady loved gold. Thus, he told him what he wanted.
On the other hand, McGrady was selfish and only cared about the gold bars. He hesitated for a while and asked, “Mr. Hugo, are you willing to sacrifice your women? Taking the women away from people was Mr. Carnell's favorite thing to do.”
While McGrady was talking, he glanced at sisters, Ellie and Eileen. Meanwhile, everyone in the Strategy Committee knew about the twin sisters with Zhou Qingfeng. They might already be targeted by someone.
“No way.” Zhou Qingfeng instantly rejected his suggestion. Ellie and Eileen were like his sisters, they could not be bet.
“Then I'll bring you some special women, what do you think?” McGrady was aware that Ellie and Eileen were very important to Zhou Qingfeng.
“That will do.” Zhou Qingfeng nodded his head.
Things just a got a lot easier. McGrady invited Zhou Qingfeng and both of them headed to the town hall - the location of the celebration. Zhou Qingfeng knew there was going to be a gambling night after the celebration.
Zhou Qingfeng prepared more than a hundred kilograms of gold and two half-naked and sexy guards were arranged to come by McGrady.
That's right, half-naked and extremely sexy.
Two of the sexy guards did not even wear clothes. They were wearing bikinis, leather gloves, and boots. They looked like porn stars especially with the make-up. They were seductive and hot.
“Mr. Carnell likes this kind of women?” Zhou Qingfeng was disgusted by Carnell's aesthetic.
“Uh…, yeah.” McGrady nodded his head and whispered, “Commander Carnell actually kinda likes to be abused.”
