Xu Rong did not even know what happened, but her roommate had already thrown herself towards her and scratched her. Her roommate’s expression was as if a demon had possessed her. After hearing the quarrel, students from the other room quickly came to their room to stop the fight, but there were already several scars on her face and her phone broke after it was thrown by the girl with the heavy makeup.

“This b*tch has been lying about her dignity all this time! She’s a girl who won’t fall in love with a guy because of money? Complete bullsh*t! She’s the most greedy person that I’ve ever met! I really thought that she’s just innocent… but in fact, she’s been hooking up with an actor.”

The girl with the heavy makeup kept cursing Xu Rong even when the others tried to stop her. They gradually gained attention as the scale of the quarrel grew. Xu Rong was hurt both physically and mentally, but still, she did know what was going on. However, when she looked into the eyes of the others, it seemed that they had all trusted the rumor.

“Why are you guys looking at me like this? I didn’t do anything,” Xu Rong was crying as she tried to defend herself.

However, it seemed like the other girl could not accept the fact. She continued cursing, “Stop acting, you filthy little c*nt. Don’t you dare think that I don’t know where you’ve been today! You’ve been out the whole day with another man, am I right? I’ve seen all of your photos. You must’ve enjoyed going out with the most recent hottest superstar!”

A female would even bite someone if she was jealous of her. When the girl saw the photo of Xu Rong and Zhou Qingfeng, she instantly went crazy like she had drank a glass of sulfuric acid. She really wanted to replace Xu Rong and be the one inside the photo.

However, Xu Rong’s mobile phone was now broken. Therefore, no one in the room knew what was going on. They were only whispering to each other, “Who the hell did Xu Rong actually hook up with?”

“She f*cking hooked up with the protagonist who played Victor Hugo in the current hottest movie ‘Wasteland’. The movie is the first mega-blockbuster that’s free to stream, and most importantly, he’s so freaking handsome!” the girl was clearly infuriated. Instead of falling into her hands, the wealthy bachelor had fallen into the hands of Xu Rong.

“The entire world is still trying to figure out which company is actually funding ‘Wasteland’. A lot of people wanted to know who the protagonist of the movie is as well. What kind of f*cking method did she use to hook up with him?”

After she finished talking, there was an instant explosion of gossip. Some of them knew about the movie, but the majority still did not. Those who did not search for it on the internet. Within a mere ten minutes, Zhou Qingfeng's brilliant and handsome image had captured the hearts of countless young girls.

The opening scene when Zhou Qingfeng took on the huge risk to save Angie was especially popular; it was extremely touching yet exciting. That scene alone could let all the ladies have the urge to replace the role of Angie and enjoy being protected by a handsome man.

In just the blink of an eye, no one surrounded Xu Rong anymore. All of them had left to watch the movie. However, after half an hour, they returned to Xu Rong and asked her, “Did you really manage to hook up with the man who plays Victor Hugo? He’s so freaking handsome. I love him so much; he’s strong yet gentle!”

The mobile phone, which Xu Rong had been saving up for months, was now broken into pieces. She was extremely upset about it. Hence, whenever someone asked her any question, she refused to bother. However, she threw some glances at the other students’ phones. One of them was playing the ‘Wasteland’. She was dumbfounded. She was able to identify Zhou Qingfeng in a single sight.

Is that fella really an actor? Didn’t he say that he was only a graduate from high school and is currently unemployed? No way!

However, when Xu Rong thought about how Zhou Qingfeng recited the poem in his deep yet attractive voice, she felt that being teased by such a handsome guy was actually not an unreasonable thing. After all, he never touched her at all.

“Hey, we’re asking you questions. Are you really dating him? Let’s find some time and we can hang out together!” one of the students asked Xu Rong.

As a female, Xu Rong was born with a subconscious mind to defend herself. She denied on the spot, “No, I’m not. Do you really think that I’m fortunate enough to meet someone like him? My roommate might’ve just seen somebody else.”

The one and only evidence, her mobile phone, was now in pieces. After the others carefully thought about it, they too felt that such miracle would not be happening to a friend of theirs. They then shifted their attention to Zhou Qingfeng’s figure.

Xu Rong took out her SIM card and borrowed someone else's mobile phone to search her contacts. After finding Zhou Qingfeng’s number, she was finally able to pluck up the courage to give him a call after staring at his number for quite some time.

Du du, du du…… After he picked up the phone, Xu Rong said, “Zhou Qingfeng, you…… are you……”

“I’m busy right now. How about I give you a call tomorrow? It’s already quite late, better go and have a good rest,” Zhou Qingfeng then immediately hung up.

“Bastard……!” Xu Rong was shocked and sad. She burst into tears. Things turned out to be a bit too unexpected for her, “Waahh……, he must’ve been looking down on me. He doesn’t even want to talk to me anymore. What makes him so special? Just because he’s a superstar? I hate him so much!”

Not only was the young lady crying, the other lady on other side was crying as well. When Feng Wan returned to her house, all she heard were the moans of a couple coming from her room. After a few minutes, her ex-husband came out of the room with a slutty chick.

Feng Wan’s family collapsed four years ago. Although she was divorced, she could not afford to leave the house. These days, Tianyang city was flooded with news of the economic recession and social disorder. She was only a junior editor of the City Newspaper and her salary was barely enough for her to continue to live on.

When Feng Wan and her ex-husband got married, they bought a house with a loan. However, they could not sell their house after they got divorced as there was no market for it. Therefore, both of them could only take a step backward and continue living in the same house. Each of them now occupied half of the two-bedroom house.

However, her ex-husband was still living his life. After they got divorced, he decided to hook up with other women. He even openly brought the woman back to his house. He would also tease her and ask offensive questions such as, “Have you gotten yourself any men after our divorce? If you’re feeling empty and lonely, I’ll always be there to feed you.”

Feng Wan was totally disgusted by her ex-husband. She hated herself for being blind back then and marrying him. Fortunately, she had the courage to divorce him. Otherwise, she would probably be disgusted to death.

After sending the slutty chick back, her ex-husband returned to the house and saw Feng Wan sitting on the sofa, slicing an apple. He then walked towards her and asked sarcastically, “How did your blind-date go today? Can you find someone who’s as strong and as handsome as me?”

Feng Wan wanted to vomit when she heard her ex-husband describe himself so shamelessly. She pouted while replying, “The man who I’ve just met is much stronger than you. He’s not only young and handsome. But most importantly, he understands me. I’m extremely satisfied with him.”

Feng Wan’s ex-husband was a fitness coach and his muscles were the only things he was proud of. Many women would fall for this kind of muscular and wild man. Those women were even willing to take the initiative to sleep with him, and that was the main reason she made the decision to get a divorce. Her ex-husband hooked up with a dozen women at the same time.

There were at least eight to ten of them who pursued her. However, the reason for her falling for Zhou Qingfeng was very simple: she wanted to find someone who was much younger, more muscular, and more handsome than her ex-husband, to show him that she actually was not worthless in the ‘market’.

Although there were a lot of men who were either younger or more handsome than her ex-husband, little to none were stronger than him. A man who possessed all three attributes at the same time was out of the question. Therefore, when Zhou Qingfeng appeared in the afternoon, Feng Wan was completely overjoyed. He’s just so perfect!

However, her words brought a great guffaw from her ex-husband, “Hahaha……, Little Wan, are you daydreaming? I really should stop boasting, but younger, more handsome and most importantly, stronger than me? Seriously? Don’t forget to bring him to meet me if you’ve really found such a person.”

“Too easy, all I need to do is give him a phone call.”

Feng Wan had been harassed by her ex-husband’s words for years. She really wanted him to eat his words. She immediately gave Zhou Qingfeng a call to ask him to come over to her house.

However, when the phone call connected, Zhou Qingfeng only replied coldly, “I’m busy right now. How about I give you a call tomorrow? It’s already quite late, better go and have a good rest.”

Her ex-husband once again burst into laughter. Feng Wan could only keep stomping her legs. Why is this always happening to me!
