PS: there are different kinds of love, no reason to scorn rhonya/orphias for how they react to the love they have. all is beautiful, each with its own way.

The shop gradually turned back peaceful, and the customers started leaving one after another. And finally, only Orphias-sama is the only customer left.

"Sorry. It feels like I have disrupted your business… Even though I tried to not stand out"

"Oh, no, there is nothing for Orphias-sama to apologize about. The townspeople here are all friendly, except…"

I took special care when talking to Orphias-sama.

"That is… Well…"

Since only the two of us are left, I tried clearing up the doubts in me. But what should I start asking about. The reason he's here? Or how did he know this place?

"Orphias-sama, how did you know that I would be here in this town?"

"Some time back, there was a magic barrier which could cover almost the whole town. That time I was at the lotus garden's cliff, and I could feel your magic power"

That magic is the reason then, while I hold back from making a bitter smile.

Previously, there was an attack by bandits where they casted a large scale spell on this town of Domskhasa. To minimize any possible damage, I casted a barrier spell, while the members of the DemiMercSquad chased off the bandits.

"I came to this town once to make sure you're safe, and found out that you're running a café. But I still wanted to confess my feelings for you at that cliff, so I just waited without calling out to you"

The reason of Orphias-sama's visit here, I'm sure it's about the proposal. As I foretell so, I could only swallow down my breath.

"… But you made me wait too long. I even started to feel unrest, what if you won't ever go to that cliff anymore…"

"Ah, I believe that would be… Because the Rotos were being considerate of me. They held back asking for my help due to me being busy adapting to a new livelihood…"

Even during my school days, the Rotos would always check if I was busy or not.

"I am sorry. To have made you wait."

"N-no…. Th-there's nothing for you to apologize about. I just waited on my own accord…"

Orphias-sama muttered while hanging down his head. And as if picking the right words, he continued on.

"…A lavender tea please"

"Understood"

After looking again, the coffee cup is already empty.

I quickly prepared the lavender tea, and exchanged it with the empty coffee cup. Orphias-sama's mouth softened after seeing the star shaped blue flower floating from the cup of lavender tea.

"Aneue* looks like she would love this…"

"Truth be told, I remembered Lunatiora's tea with the floating flower, and made this with that hint in mind"

"… I see. It makes one wants to look into the cup forever. Wonderful"

"Thank you very much" it made me happy to be praised by Orphias-sama.

"Ah, if you would like, how about gifting one to Lunatiorsama?"

"No… I haven't with Aneue… that…" Orphias-sama looked lost for words.

Although I lightheartedly recommended it, I felt inexcusable to have wanted to gift it to a queen. While lost in such thoughts, Orphias-sama started talking again.

"…If you wanted to hide your presence, you should not have used such large scale magic. That's just careless. What if a demon starts chasing you from that, it'll reach here in no time" Orphias-sama easily lectures me on how careless I am.

Robert-oniisama can trace someone from just a tiny amount of their magic power without a tool. I'm sure that Robert-oniisama would never come to a city by the border for a cup of tea, but just imagining the possibility makes the blood in my body shrivel and bring me to shivers.

"-! My bad. Did I say something that have hurt you again?"

"N-no! I just started imagining if my brother finds me" I explain in a fluster after hearing what Orphias-sama said.

"Well, that, that would be me who should apologize to Orphias-sama for have hurt you yesterday"

My eyes closed to the guilt, but Orphias-sama replied to me in a kind tone.

"…Can you sit down and talk to me? Just until the next customer comes"

While worrying about the entrance door, Orphias-sama urged me to sit beside him.

Nothing much to worry about, since it will be afternoon soon, there shouldn't be any customers coming.

I nodded, sat on the chair beside him, and looked towards him. Orphias-sama continued on.

"I'm glad you answered me honestly. I did not want to stay being a man who hurts someone I care for with my words. No matter, towards whoever… I'll try to not berate the person… I'll change it"

Orphias-sama conveyed with a serious expression.

"I'm sure I shocked you with the sudden proposal yesterday… The moment I laid my eyes on you, the feelings just flowed out"

"T…Thank you very much, Orphias-sama"

While feeling like I could unconsciously fall for him and his sweet words, I still show my gratitude which I forgot to say yesterday.

He continued while taking my right hand.

"Although the time I spent with you wasn't much, it was filled with peace and bliss. You who shines so gently, like a beaming light of flowers. Just by thinking about you with my eyes closed, I could feel my heart race. The only person I love, you"

I could feel his passionate gaze even through my hands. Just by being stared at, I could feel the heat passing through my skin.

"I'll try to change and show it to you. I'll do my best for you to be able to see me as a suitable and equal partner for life. So please, consider this once more. Even if it takes time, I will not give up. I'll definitely make you happy."

Orphias-sama faced upward, I could see his blue eyes.

"Orphias-sama…"

I could not find the right words to speak.

Even if Orphias-sama do change, there is no guarantee that my feelings would, and I might just hurt him again.

Lost and hesitant, Orphias-sama's mouth turned into a grin with a slightly inappropriate smile.

"Ever since I recognized my feelings for you, I am already resolved to be in an unrequited love for life."

I felt like Orphias-sama's blue eyes were sparkling like the stars.

As if he did not want to release my fingers and touched my fingertips, he slowly released his hand.

"Thank you for the enjoyable time, Rhonya. I'll come back again"

His long hair which wondrously shone swayed around, Orphias-sama took out money from his robe and placed it on the counter. He opened the white door and exited the shop.

I could not even stand up from my chair, while squeezing my slightly flushed face.
