Reeya stood up and with spiritless eyes asked, "Why didn't you tell me?" Her tone had anger and grief .

"Amma forbade us . You had your life . Ma had her own . It was only now when we were helpless that I called you . Your Uncle doesn't know about it yet . " The words tore her heart .

"Your uncle is a normal worker . We couldn't afford her treatment . " She said and left in a hurry . Her steps were messy somewhat shaky .

Her word held truth . Aunt treated grandma with respect . She was her mother-in-law, the elderly in the house .

"Cough . . . cough" A weak gasping came from behind her . Reeya got to her Grandmother and held her weak hand . A cold sensation stirred her . She didn't know what to do .
