In a dark room, a woman was lying lifeless on her bed . Tear stains on her cheeks with puffed eyes served as a proof of her sorrow and desolation .
'Everyone left me one by one . My child, my brother, my dad and now my mom' All dead .
There exists only pain of the past and no hope for the future .
She dragged her body to the bathroom, splashed her face with cold water, but it didn't seem to calm her wild heart .
She wanted to search for sleeping pills . 'If I eat them all, will I get retribution?'
Just as she turned around, her eyes fell on dustbin nearby . Her body seems to have been electrocuted .
It was a 'pregnancy strip'
Picking it up, she grasped it tightly fearing it would get lost . Still confused, her gaze fell on the mirror the familiar yet unfamiliar face: no wrinkles, no dark circles, the waist length glossy hair . She gripped her clothes: the black suit skirt with a white full sleeve shirt .
This used to be her office wear!
What is going on?!
Baffled, She frantically ran from the bedroom to the living room to study . Yes, it was her old home rather her ex-husband's home . She saw the date on the calendar hanging on the wall .
Reborn!!! A decade ago . When she was 28!
She stood bewildered .
'Is it true?'
'Everyone is still alive . I won't let the tragedy of the past repeat itself'
Moreover, she was pregnant . . .
'The two lines on the pregnancy strip which felt like prison bars in my last life will be my wings this life . '
She touched her belly and cried "Baby thank you for coming to me again . Mom apologizes for not appreciating you in past . "
That was Ira, cold and arrogant businesswoman .
Suddenly, she felt the grip on her wrist . Her hand still holding the pregnancy strip .
"Are you pregnant?" a nervous voice .
This was Vivan . He is 27 but ironically looked same as when he was 37 in contrast to her wretched self .
Viv came to her mother's funeral . He, her ex then had a ring on his finger, had a wife, and had a kid . . .
She looked at his fingers He has a different ring, a wife, a kid but it is hers . She felt relieved .
"Are you pregnant?" He asked, seemingly unsure
Ira overwhelmed started crying "Ah_Wahh . . . Wahh . . . " Heartrendingly wailing like a child .
Viv was so unsure 'what to do?' The woman didn't like him to hug her or kiss her . He extended his arms slightly but retracted them back . It was then he felt pressure on his chest . Realizing it was Ira attached to him like a koala bear, he shivered . He was in high clouds .
Just as he was about to hug her, she turned out of his arms and
"Pu_" Ira had nausea .
"Are you sick? Let's go to the hospital . Have you eaten something wrong?"
"Viv, Idiot I am pregnant . It is merely nausea . It has been 2 months already . " She hugged him and once more started weeping .
