"He is a mess."
"Who told him to drink so much?" John complained. Everyone was sober except this man who kept on reciting wife~ wife~.
Like she would care. He sneered.
"Guys, Let's end the night."
"Who will take him back?
He slumped as he walked out. "I have to go... I am late. My wife.."He laughed as he stumbled by the door.
Daksh came forward to support him, "Yes, your wife will be worried. we know." he patted the back of his ignorant friend.
Usually, he was the one helping others catch a cab and sending them off. Now they gotta drop him.
"You drop him." John pointed to Daksh.
"No, why me?"
"Because your place is near his. "
"I won't. What if his wife blames me." The mere thought of Ira's anger sent a shiver down his spine.
"What will I do? You deal with it."John got into the passing cab, which soon disappeared leaving them.
When everyone was gone, he helped him get in the car.
"You drank so much brother. If your wife sees you in this condition what will you do?" He looked at wasted Vivan and complained. If you wanted to fall why drag me.
Ira was notorious for her bad temper. Her cold and evil temperament. He was in fact scared of his best friend's wife.
"I am not drunk." What if I drink a lot? She promised to come, but she held him up. So he will go late and make her wait.

An hour ago...
In a huge mansion, all lights were off. A woman was sitting on the sofa and anxiously rubbing her forehead.
A woman on the sofa held rubbed her forehead. When Reeya dropped her, she dashed in. She got thrilled to show him all the clothes she bought for him.
She thought of his unusual reaction when he will see the clothes she bought for him. Would he be happy?
But an empty house welcomed her.
Where is he?
She waited for a few minutes before calling him. He did not pick up.
This never happened before! Not even once... He always picked her call after the first ring.
He will be nearby.
'I will make him try the clothes one by one once he gets back; even the underpants.' Hehe.. she smiled evilly.
She set the table with the food she bought. Yes, she forgot the dinner plan, but the shopping tired her. She waited for a long while, watching TV. But then she glanced at the clock. It was midnight.
Ira got anxious, he was not home.
Vivan is not an irresponsible person. Even when he was busy, he would inform her. Now, he vanished.
Did something happen to him? Her mind drifted to worst situations he can be.
What can happen to him so he couldn't answer the phone?
Did he get into an accident?
Now in the dead silent house, with Vivan's absence, doubts and fear crawled her mind, making her unable to think rationally.
