Abigail held a large bouquet of tulips in her arms, wearing a long dress with a thin wool coat and a black large-brimmed hat. A lace veil half-covered her face, and she wore a pair of low-heeled round-toe shoes. Simply standing there, her whole aura made it hard for people to look away.
“You go back first; I'll go park the car.” Jeffrey Foster said to Abigail in the car, then started the car to find a parking spot.
Abigail nodded, hugged the tulips, and walked toward the villa. Turning her head, she saw new residents moving into the courtyard next door. Just as she was about to leave after a quick glance, she met a pair of bright black eyes.
For some reason, Abigail's heart trembled lightly, and she was immediately attracted by those eyes. She stared at the child in the stroller, as if her heart and soul were drawn to him.
Abigail always knew she had a strong attachment to children, but she never realized how uncontrollably her heart would ache at the sight of someone else's child. For a moment, she even wanted to rush over and embrace the little baby.
“What's wrong with me?” Abigail stood stiffly, just then the child's grandmother seemed to have finished talking with the mother and turned to look down at the baby, saying something to him. The baby, however, ignored her and continued to look at Abigail.

From the news coming from home, Brandon already believed that Abigail and he were dead in the explosion. Abigail, in her room, still had the child's clear call of “mommy” lingering in her ears, her heart aching painfully until she heard knocking on the door.

Kimura smiled, “Yes, unlike us old married couples.”
Abigail could understand basic R language. Although not as good as Jeffrey's, she improved quickly to take care of the Kimura couple. Hearing the old man's words, her face turned pink. She smiled awkwardly at Jeffrey, “I'm fine; don't be so worried.”
Jeffrey Foster noticed Abigail's shyness, seized her wrist boldly, and led her to the dining table, “Then eat more. You've lost weight again recently; it's just right now.”
Abigail nodded, recalling something, “Uncle Kimura, do you know anything about the new people next door?”
“Oh, it's a young couple with an elderly person and a child traveling. They seem to be F Nation Chinese-Americans, living in Paris,” Kimura replied.
Abigail thought of the baby less than a year old, “Since they are neighbors, I should visit them when I have time. Their baby is adorable.”
Jeffrey Foster was taken aback, “You saw their child?”
“Yes, fair and chubby, playing with his mom and grandma in the yard,” Abigail said, her eyes showing a hint of desire.
Jeffrey Foster felt relieved. Since they met, there shouldn't be any issues. He nodded, “I will have Uncle Kimura invite them to our wedding.”
Abigail only wanted to see the baby again, so she had no objections to inviting them to the wedding. She nodded lightly.
Unlike Abigail, Jeffrey Foster was focused on the wedding. Seeing no objection from Abigail, his smile grew wider bit by bit.
